It is a solid oak 54 inches quarter sawn top. The table is 30 inches high and when all four leaves are inserted the table becomes 8 feet long. It is a good-looking table with a large reeded center column and a platform base that goes down into the biggest ball and claw feet I have seen in a long time. The table is in a medium oak stain. Wonderful carvings also decorate fo ur side s o f the ei ght sid ed pedestal. The pe destal sits on an X shaped base with egg and dart molding at the end of each foot. Vtg antique Round DINING Table TIGER OAK CLAW FEET SOLID Can Ship 1880-1920's
Beautiful round table measures 41" across. It opens and can be made bigger with leafs. I do not have the leafs. But you can easily have them made or purchase them. I have had as many as 8 people dine at this table, but i believe without a leaf it is ideal for 6. In good overall condition considering its age. In the center where the table comes apart there is a small gap on one end like it does not close all the way and on the base there are a couple of areas where the top veneer is messing and the wood underneath can be seen. This does not look bad or obvious and can be drastically improved by a coat of polyurethane. please feel free to ask questions. Very heavy and well made from the 1880's to 1920's. RANCH OAK 1950's 60's Solid Quarter-Sawn Tiger Oak Nightstand End Accent Table
Fantastic Ranch Oak nightstand/ end table/ accent/ entryway table. Circa 1960's. Solid Oak- even the runners and runner guides are solid quarter-sewn oak. It is not signed by its maker anywhere. But a large number of ranch oak pieces were not; Often they just had plastic pouches on the rear of the piece with a folding card inside, usually removed by their first owners. Construction quality is a perfect ten. Condition is 8.5 out of ten, due to a small scratch near the front right hand side of the top. Otherwise it would easily be a 9.5 out of 10. Excellent overall vintage condition. Solid copper drawer pulls. In the shape of stirrups. Gorgeous light colored, wonderfully-grained quarter sewn solid oak.
