Pair 1960's Vtg MCM Mersman Floating Step Side Lounge Sofa Table Danish Retro
This is a very beautiful pair of matching Mersman suspended step tables in excellent condition. The lower rear section is suspended entirely from the top section by solid birch wood supports. Which is unusual and makes for a nice floating design element. They are large measuring 24" tall, 19 1/2" wide and 32" long. So they would be right at home with a wide couch or lounge chair. They are in excellent condition with no chips in the laminated top. The brass tipped legs have some wear to the black finish which has been touched up in places. They will be dissembled for shipping, just 8 screws per table to reassemble. Thank you!

We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Vintage, matched pair of gilt brass plant stands. This lovely pair features ornate detailing. They have a three legged design which feature a dragon or griffin head/face as their top finial and a curved body griffin or winged lion on the lower leg sections, and lion paw feet. The legs are long and sleek and are elevated above the stands' tiered shelves. The shelf sections feature a repeated pattern. Their centers are a solid brass medallion with a bullseye center. The bullseye is surrounded with an incised pattern of intricate acanthus leaves"fleur de lis" as well as scrolls and curves. The solid medallions are surrounded with an opened, pierced brass border. This design is quite elaborate with a repeated pattern of double, curved dolphins that join at the mouth and tails, separated by ... morewinged cherub busts. This extremely ornate and"busy" design is calmed with a simpler outer border, in French Empire style. The border is complete with a faux stiched pattern, accented with petite flowers. This is a beautiful and quite ornate pair of stands. They are in good condition with some aged patina to the gilt finish. The three tier. Taller stand shows more aged patina than the shorter, two tiered stand. They are structurally quite sound with no looseness or wobbling. The stands are stamped"GIM" under each shelf. RARE PAIR MID CENTURY FRENCH ITALIAN REGENCY WOOD MARBLE TOP TABLE PLANT STAND
We are pleased to offer this rather unusual. Matched pair of Mid Century, Hollywood Regency petite accent tables or plant stands. This beautiful pair feature both French and Italian characteristics. They have curved, yet squared, raised bases with rounded feet. The columns are turned wood and the tops are a composite, faux marble(looks and feels like marble) with nice vein patterns. The wood is uniquely finished with faux gilded accents and an all over design of soft, gilded brush strokes. These are quite stunning and very sturdy tables. There are no manufacturer's marks but the tables are extremely nice quality. They are in very good condition with some expected signs of age/use. There are some minor light scratches but nothing major or distracting. We are pleased to offer this beautiful set of Mid Century vintage end tables or nightstands. This set features SOLID wood construction with British Isles/Colonial details. The tables are rectangular with a slightly bowed/curved front and back profile. The tables have a deep skirt feature which is faced in a woven rattan with wood bamboo borders. The skirted sections contains a generous drawer on the front profile. The drawers are also faced with rattan and have decorative pulls. The table tops have a stained outer border with a black and brown painted geometric design inside. The design does mirror each other so there is a left side and right side table. The legs are fluted. The upper leg sections have carved tobacco leaf details. The balance of the legs have a deeply carved and notched design which replicates bamboo cane bundles. There is ... morea carved rope detail at the lower leg section as if to tie the bamboo canes together. This is a beautiful and striking pair. They are of substantial construction as the wood is"chunky" and not thin. The wooden table tops are 1.25" thick. There are no manufacturer's marks or labels but the tables are of upper end manufacturing. We have the matching. Large coffee table listed in a separate listing. The tables are in very good structural condition. They are very sturdy and very heavy. The finish has some evidence of age/use. There are some bumps and bruises which give the tables a somewhat distressed, aged appearance. They can be resolved if you choose, but, as they are, they do add to the character of the tables and do not distract from their beautiful design. The tables are large and measure 25 wide. 27" deep(back to front) and 24.75" tall. The drawers have an interior measurement of 13 wide, 14" front to back and 4" tall. The drawer faces are 17" wide.
