This is a beautiful little match holder or spill posy vase depicting a gentleman or male gypsy. It is painted in lovely pastel colors of blue. Green, and pink, with gold dotted detailing. There is no makers mark but it is definitely a quality piece and quite heavy for its small size. Approximately 3 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide. It appears to be in excellent condition. Military KPM W.F.KISTER German Porcelain Figurine DUMOURIEZ French General
Up for your consideration is this beautiful. Outstanding, antique German porcelain figurine of French, Napoleon's general. Charles du Perier, known as Dumouriez(1739- 1823) a French general. He won the battles of Valmy and Jemappes and conquered Belgium. The figurine is 10 1/4" or 26 cm tall and stands on a base that is 2 1/2" by 3" or 6.5 by 7.7 cm. The coloring is very vibrant and the detail is wonderful. There is a blue mark on the underside, an"S" dissected with crossed swords, denoting the AW Fr. and impressed 12753. Kister porcelain factory of Scheibe-Alsbach, Thuringia, Germany. Also on the underside is a brief biography in French. Mint condition. Before buying. Please email us with any questions. French Bisque Singing Goddess With Lyre C. 1830 A Beautiful Antique French Museum Piece. Of the Highest Quality Workmanship. Her gilded lyre has metal strings; she glances heavenward as she sings. There is an amphora at her feet. Surpassingly lovely. This is the first time I've seen teeth. Top and bottom, painted on a bisque piece- beautifully done The gorgeous gilding and enamel beading is in excellent condition. One of the really wonderful things about this piece is the expertly constructed lyre with its metal strings; they actually pass through the porcelain neck of the lyre and are then secured with metal beads which are meant to simulate the tuning pins. How neat is that? I've added lots o f pictures so you can take a close look- the lyre really is a thing of beauty. You can almost hear the music playing. SIZE: They measure approximately 8.5 inches high. CONDITION: There is an old professional repair to his base which is mostly underneath. There is loss to 2 fingertips on his right hand. She has no apparent damage but there is a manufacturing firing/stress crack on one side of her neck. It is right near her hair and you will only notice it if you're looking for it. This is an absolutely beautiful bisque porcelain statue by Vion& Baury. She stands 16 1/2" tall. The base measures 5 1/2" across. This is a very heavy piece weighing almost 6 pounds. The attention to detail and quality is amazing! She is in excellent condition with only a few minor flaws. There are a couple of chips at the base and one of her hands looks as if it has been repaired. There are some minor imperfections due to age and wear. Please see photos. Rare HUGE Antique Sevres Vion Baury French Paris Porcelain Man Figurine Figure
This is a beautiful rare large hand painted porcelain figure created in France circa 1870-90. He is very heavy weighted and a large size at 19 1/4 inches high by 7 inches wide. And weighs a whopping 11.12 lbs. The green anchor mark of the Vion& Baury factory has worn away, but is partially found on his lady mate listed in my separate listing. His face is very finely handpainted and he is walking in the meadow holding a baby goat as the momma goat looks up lovingly. This figure displays very well however the momma goat has one broken ear and the bottom of his scruff and the baby goat has one broken ear. There is a shallow chip on the back bottom base and the pink flowers are chipped on top. There is a tight hairline on the back of the figure near the bottom and also under the base. It is very tight and the figure feels very solid. Superb ... morefigure for the collector! He is a superb example for the collector and has a lady mate in the last picture that will be offered in a separate listing. If interested please take a look. Original in bronze was lost soon after the French Revolution and in 19th century Lemire's reading infant sculpture was only known by the white bisque copies. Produced by Dihl et Guerhard Manufactory. From the year 1781 to 1802 the manufactory commissioned many models of unsigned bisque porcelain and because most parian wares mimicked carved marble sculptures. French Large Colorful Porcelain Figurine Lamp-OLD & BEAUTIFUL
I am please to present to you a beautiful old porcelain lamp of a french figurine. It is very elegant looking. The work is very detailed quality. The colors on the figurine are all very bold. The figurine sits a top a double platform that is also made of porcelain. I do not know the exact age of the lamp but if I had to guess I would say if it from the turn of the century. I also do not know for sure the origin of the lamp but I would guess French or German. There no visible markings. The figurine itself is in great condition. The platform which is also porcelain has some signs of wear as you can see in the pictures but there are no chips or cracks. Unfortunately there is a missing gold piece in the front as you can see which can be repaired if restored. The lamp is working. From my 30 +++ years of my personal collection. Large Exquisite French Porcelain Group. This group is of 3 women and 1 man around a parlor table. Very vibrant colors. Measurements of the base approx. 11 1/2" long by 8" wide. Man figurine stands approx. 8 3/4" high. Woman in back stands almost 8 3/4" high. Woman sitting in front measures approx. 6 3/4" at highest point. Woman sitting in back measures approx. 6 3/4" at highest point. Parlor table approx. 3" high. Not including items on table) The underglazed blue mark is apparently Vincent Dubois(1771- 1840) The blue mark is two crossed lines or bolts with feathered ends. The blue feather is well defined. There is a round brownish circle with a Y demarcating 3 initals F.B. S. I am guessing that these are the artists that worked on this piece and it is of an ... moreolder date rather than the earlier time. On the bottom is"Made in France" in blue. Vincent Dubois established in 1773 a hard-paste factory, using for his mark two crossed branches with leaves, in allusion to his name. They are sometimes called pointless arrows. This porcelain group is in absolutely mint condition. If I wanted to be critical(and I will) there is a"flea-bite" on the black paint of the man's left shoe. Antique French Porcelain Figurine Capodimonte Style Mark Hand Painted Samson
This early 1900s 5 7/8” tall x 2 5/8” diameter(base) hand painted porcelain figuring with hand formed and applied roses on the base bears a blue underglaze mark similar to Capodimonte and is marked made in France on the bottom. Obviously an early 20th century statuette inspired by the work of Capodimonte. It is likely the work of Samson or other Paris area porcelain manufacturer. It is free of cracks, chips and repairs. There are infinitesimal color losses on the end of the blossoms. The edges are sharp/rough, so I cannot tell if these 2 or 3 tiny spots are damage or manufacturing imperfections. Antique German Porcelain Harp Lady French Ormolu Lamp Dresden Figurine Figure
This is a gorgeous large German porcelain figural grouping mounted as a lamp. It is hand painted and has beautiful details! Created by the A.E. Muller factory of Germany. This grouping depicts a royal couple playing instruments together. The gentleman has lost his flute and one thumb and there is some chipping to the flowers on the base and a little to the porcelain flowers on the ormolu stems, I see no other damage. A large size, entire lamp measures just shy of 2 feet high. Finial on top is missing. The actual figure is 10 1/4 inches tall by 9 1/4 inches wide. BEAUTIFUL PORCELAIN FIGURINE GERMAN FRENCH CONTINENTAL 19TH CENTURY SHEPHERDESS
This is a charming and beautiful figurine of a porcelain shepherdess figurine. Bowed crook over her left shoulder, a lavender and pink butterfly on her right arm. Many years ago I purchased her in a French antique shop but she could as easily be German. The only mark I can see is what might be an impressed number 79 on the base. Her skirt is bright and colorful. The ruffle around her apron is aqua, the fading gold is probably from handling. Small chip, almost undetected, on the left sleeve ruffle, at the back. The bottom of the crook is gone as well as the tip of her finger connected to it. Barely noticeable unless you look closely. She is nearly 7 1/2 inches tall, adorable.

Samson fine porcelain figurine of a woman in Renaissance costume- appears to be a copy of other images of Isabella. The Commedia dell'Arte heroine. Beautiful hand pinted floral decoration on dress. Gilding on base. Fingers broken off left hand(see photo)but that isn't very noticeable when you stand it on a shelf. Otherwise in excellent condition- no chips, crazing. Height- 8 3/4 inches. French Bisque Boy Welcome to my auction! For your consideration is an antique French Bisque porcelain boy. Circa 1900 or so. He is fairly large at approximately 10 inches tall. Weight is about 1 pound and 11 ounces. Beautiful, soft colors with little gold painted buttons. He has a basket on his arm and a larger one on his back.these are ideal to use as holders for dried flowers or other ornamental objects. Condition: There is some damage to the porcelain's finish on the right side of his face. On his arm, and on the top of the basket on his back-this looks a little like crazing. He has a tiny, tiny chip on the blonde curl at the center of his forehead.this is barely noticeable. There are also a couple of small, original firing flaws-namely a firing crack in the handle of the basket on his arm. Up for auction is this wonderful Samson& Co. porclein figurine in a situation where a man and woman converse at leisure in a Louie XIV style. There is a rapport going on between them. The statue is 9"tall x 7" wide and x5 1/2"deep. It is all hand painted with much delicacy with the facial features especially. Looked at by different angles the story of their presence changes slightly. Indeed it is a happy time though. She has one chip on one of her fingers and a bit of ground near her feet is shaved at the surface.
