This charming little girl with her arms extended is posed in the middle of a twirl. Her bodice is yellow. Dresden lace ballerina vintage figurine NRFB mint in box
This Dresden ballerina is a vintage original. Mint in box. It has never been removed from the box. The doll itself looks to be in absolutely pristine condition. The ties on the bottom that adhere to the base look to be in mint condition also. The ballerina is as pictured. Her delicate blue and white lace skirt is 100 percent in tact, she wears a purple porcelain bodice with a yellow flower at her waist. Her ruffled collar and lace skirt bottom are edged in what looks like gold leaf. She is beautiful. The box measures 6" high, and 4" deep. The box is not mint, but could probably be cleaned, as I can only guess it to be 60-70 years old. The figurine is exactly how it appears in the picture. This is a beautiful half doll related ballerina dancer figurine made in Germany. Her arms are raised in a dance pose. The skirt of her dress is white with blue and gold gilt flowers and her bodice is painted in gold gilt. Approximately 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. Marked on the bottom with a blue crown and N as shown. She is in excellent condition with just a manufacturing flaw where there is a small tiny dull spot where there is no glaze under her skirt. pic 12) There is also one tiny chip on her skirt that is not even noticable I have to run my finger across it to even find it. This is a 3 1/2" tall ballerina with a delicate pink dresden tutu(I think that is what this is called) She sits in a stand. The stem goes into a hole in the top and she is standin on her toe so that when you move her she keeps going for a bit. You can spin her and watch her dance. I don't see any chips on her, if there are any on the tutu they are very small and I am not seeing them. She shows well and is very unique. This delicate antique German lace porcelain figurine of a graceful ballerina is 5 1/4" tall and was made in Germany by the Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik AG. It bears the appropriate mark for the period between 1899 and 1912. Per the AeV marks table. There is damage to the fingers and thumb on the right hand. There is some missing lace. Antique German Hard Lace Porcelain Ballerina Figurine This piece is exquisite! If you are a collector of porcelain you will find this German hard lace figurine to be exceptional. The young lady is dressed in the most beautiful ballet costume adorned with pink rosebuds. The bodice of the dress is blue and trimmed in lace as are the layers of the skirt. It is in wonderful condition. The only flaw that I can find is a pin hole in the lace of the skirt. Because the skirt is white. The tiny flaw is almost unseen. The figurine has curly blonde hair with pink lace around her shoulders, her dress is white with a white swag separating 2 rows of pink lace around the bottom and is completely filled with lace under the dress, the front of the dress is decorated with applied flowers. The stamp and markings, and from the delicacy and precision of craftsmanship it was manufactured in one of the early 1900's porcelain houses in the Dresden Region of Germany. Dresden is not a manufacturer, but a style from a particular region. This delicate and beautiful antique porcelain painted figure is therefore referred to as a Dresden Figurine. Nearly one hundred years old, this fragile figurine has fared incredibly well. With one elbow bent. And her hand on her waist, she poses with her right arm outstretched with her wrist gracefully bent. Her dancing attire features a fully gathered three-tiered pink lace skirt. In the Dresden figurine style, her skirt is adorned with two yellow flowers, as is her white short-sleeved top. Her hair and facial features are painted delicately soft and lush. The glisten of the glaze draws one’s eye toward her beautiful face. The dancing figure stands on a one and one-quarter inch round base. The base is highlighted with gold details, as are her ballerina flats. The porcelain house markings on this piece are printed in grey under the glaze. Antique 1910-20 This delicate and beautiful antique porcelain painted figure is known as a Dresden Figurine. As determined from its unique styling. The stamp and markings, and from the delicacy and precision of craftsmanship it was manufactured in one of the early 1900’s porcelain houses in the Dresden Region of Germany. I will attempt to fairly and accurately describe the characteristics and condition of this fragile and precious piece of historic art. Measuring 4” x 3” the brown haired woman is standing with one arm bent at her waist and her palm facing up. Her other arm is extended with her palm down and wrist bent. The scoop neckline with ... moreruffled lace exposes her neck in a slightly provocative manner. The lace neckline trim is attached to a yellow bodice. The precision of the paint details blue ribbon lines on her bodice. Her two-tier lace skirt is decorated with one yellow rose and one pink rose. The green leaves of the flowers draw attention to the green bow in her hair. She wears yellow shoes to stand on a 1 ½” circular base. The base is highlighted with the gold swirls that characterize many Dresden region porcelain pieces. Her hair and face are beautifully painted. As is her vest, flowers, and gold accents. This piece is marked in rich blue under glaze with a 5-prong crown, a capital“N” and the words“Dresden Dea” My best information indicates that this figurine was created in the 1920’s. The condition of this piece. In my opinion, is good for its age and delicate nature. The most noticeable condition flaw is on her left hand- two fingers and her thumb have been broken. The lace skirt has some chipping, including one on the front and one under the pink rose, and a smaller one above the yellow rose. This is a vintage German Ballerina Lady with beautiful lace and flowers. She is 3 5/8" tall. I believe it reads on the bottom of figurine Vadim. Germany, a mark and the number 2. She is in excellent condition! I don't see any missing lace. Cracks, chips or repairs. She has the purple dress with white lace and purple shoes. Other figurines that look similar to this one say that they are Dresden Volkstedt. Insurance is included in my shipping cost.
