The base of the table is quite elegant with a turned stretcher and splayed feet. Beautiful VINTAGE Henredon Drop Leaf Gate Leg English Walnut Table w/Drawer This is an absolutely stunning Henredon English. Gate leg drop leaf side or accent table. This gem is is made from sold dark walnut and features a petit drawer in the front with original polished brass pull knob. This came from a local Tudor home– and looked amazing in it! The table is a very nice size– 27” long. 13” wide(with leaves down) and 27” tall. With the leaves up fully it is 31x27” top. The materials are top of the line as you would expect with all things made from Henredon. The construction is solid and very sturdy. There is one finish mark that is round that is not very noticeable since it is dark like the rest– not sure what this is or if it is part of the finish– this was how we received it- see pic to see what I am talking about. I would say this table ... moreis in very good to excellent shape with no major marks other than normal vintage wear. See the pics to see how wonderful the look is and the quality still shines through after 40+ years of age. The drawer is where the Henredon mark is at. This drawer is as long as the top 27x13” and is 2” deep. This is the perfect spot for cards. Writing materials or even a TV remote! Shipping on this is hard– I have put in the size and actual weight of the table with room for packing. It weighs just under 30 pounds. Antique Imperial Walnut 2 Tiered Drop Leaf Tea/ Dessert Serving Table/ Cart
Welcome To My Auction Description This tea cart is from an estate sale. It is a beautiful wood grain walnut with two tiers. The top is a drop leaf/ expandable serving area. When folded down it has a walnut and glass serving tray that fits on it. The tray has wood edges and brass handles with clear glass center. The legs of the cart are"turned" It has caster wheels for easy rolling. The wheels are original and I think made of a hard rubber. They do have a bit of flatness on one side for sitting for a long period of time. These wheels could easily be replaced. There is a fold-down handle on one end of the cart for serving. The cart is very solid and the woodgrain is beautiful. On the bottom of the cart it is marked"Imperial. It is stained in American walnut and is an older piece. Possibly 50’s or 60’s. The numbers for this table are 2534 and 169080. The 169080 number may represent the type of table. Such as a drop leaf style. Ethan Allen has always been known for quality and craftsmanship. Like Lane and others. This is a beautiful table has been stripped. Sanded to a smooth finish from the feet to the top and the underside also. It has been stained with American Walnut then sanded and clear coated and sanded in between each clear coat. The final finish was sanded to a 2,500 grit and wet sanded also. At the end, it was toped off with a nice wax. There is over twenty five ... morehours into restoring this vintage table.
