Okay! I have no idea what this is! I do know it's a coin bank. It is an orange on one leg that screws into the bottom. the foot. Leg, and head are hard plastic. The hat is celluloid plastic. It has no other markings except for the word PEG on its hat. I am guessing it dates back to at least the 1950s because of the celluloid hat. I am thinking it may be some sort of promotional premium. For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this classic alarm clock from 1918. It is the Westclox Big Ben Peg Leg Type 1A. It is nickel plated and it is about 6 inches tall. There are fluorescent tips on the hands and on the numbers. It has the top movable indicators for alarm on or off and for a steady or repeat alarm. This one is used. The canvas is a simple wood board but not smoothed over and the roughness gives it so much texture and definition to the art work. Hoskins went on to take command of the new USS Princeton and fought in the Korean War. He was a Vice Admiral, Commander Fleet Air after the war. The provenance of this piece is rock solid as it was taken directly from his estate along with other items that included his medals and other personal engraved items. I even bought his shot gun. The alarm also works Top of clock has two levers and the words Stead. Repeat, Silent and Alarm. Reverse of clock shows patent dates which say 1908 thru 1920. Clock shows no wear and ageing with a nice patina.There are a couple small brown spots very light on the face of the clock.This is in awesome shape for the age! Pictures should speak for themselves! This authentic. Mid Century Danish Modern table is in fantastic condition. It does not get any better than this. This thing has not been touched in 6Oplus years. The tops are a high quality laminate, but you can barely tell because it is in such perfect condition, not a single scratch or mark on the laminate at all. It wipes down so easily, and really looks sharp. This piece is perfect for any mid century, or fine furniture collector. This table is very heavy and sturdy with no wiggle or wobble at all. Completely stable and ready to last another lifetime. The legs are real wood. And are painted a deep brown to match the tops. The entire table looks original and authentic. I ADORE this piece.
