Matched Pair Vtg Working Van Briggle Pottery Parrot Table Lamps Orig Hair Shades
This is a pair of exceedingly unusual and hard to find Van Briggle table lamps. They are glazed in rich mulberry with a deep maroon overspray. They are signed Van Briggle at the base. They include the original"hair" shades. The lamps are in good working order with modern wiring. The lamp bases are in excellent condition with no damage noted. Each base is a tree trunk with a little parrot perched on one side. This is a matched pair. One bird faces right and the other bird faces left. There is felt on the bottom to protect your tabletops. The lamp shades were the original shades sold with the lamps. They are"hair" shades with blonde"hair" and dried flowers mounted between a clear and a pink acrylic. The seams are sewn with a bronze-colored rawhide stitch. One shade is in excellent condition. The other shade has ... moredamage to one side, see close-up photo. Each lamp measures 13-1/2" tall to the top of the shades. The bases are 3-1/2" in diameter. The rectangular shades are approximately 8" x 6" Will be competently packed for safe arrival. Vintage Mid Century Modern Matched Pair 1963 Fortune Table Lamps - Retro
Nice matched pair of Mid Century table lamps. These are marked at the cord exit Fortune Lamp 1963. Awesome 60's styling. One small chip that shows in the pics- it's on the back side of the lamp. There are also a few small scratches that show in the pics- finish deep only. These still display nicely- scratches should be an easy fix. Appear to have original wiring and both work great. Lamp body is right at 20 inches tall and 34 and 1/2 to the top of the shade. Shades appear to be correct vintage. But not sure. They were on the lamps when I got them. The sconces would seem to be mid-19 th-century oil lamp conversions. But. This is belied by the Made In Spain stamp! So. I am guessing that they are post-1950. They are clearly modeled after oil lamp fixtures. For rail-road use in the age before electricity? Each socket is housed in what looks like an oil lamp but these are faux oil lamps. The original sockets(which I replaced) were European. So the sconces were brought to America at some point. The fixtures can also be table lamps. If you prefer them as such please just let me know and I will add a long length of cord and plug to each fixture. I can envision the pair as sconces on a long covered porch in a place like Arizona or Montana. Of course. They would also make spectacular statements as sconces in, say, a dining room. An incredible repousse' sterling silver cigarette box and lighter from the artisans of what was then Siam. The work on this one is simply amazing, it's a wonderful display of gods and goddesses, the top of the box covered with the sides smooth, and the lighter the reverse with all sides covered and only the top and a narrow band at bottom undecorated. The box is heavy and beautifully detailed. The interior lined in wood. The lighter has a lift out lighter mechanism by Ronson. Box/casket is 1-3/8" ... moretall at sides. But 1-3/4" tall taking repousse' design at top center into account, and is 5-7/8" long, 3-3/4" deep. Lighter base is 2-5/16" tall, and 2-5/16" square. With lighter mechanism installed it is 2-7/8" tall. The box weighs 314 grams, but keep in mind this includes the lightweight wood liner which can't be removed without damaging it. The lighter base, sterling bottom section without lighter included weighs 230 grams, a nice heavy, solid piece. Both pieces are signed on bottom as shown. The lighter reads"925 Siam Sterling" The box is difficult to make out, but to my eye says"Sterling 925" and something I can't make out, possibly a maker's mark. Together they are in excellent condition. The lighter has no dings. Dents, or obvious scratches, it's amazing. The box has a few minimal spots of damage, one side has two pin tip size dings, and the opposite end has a slightly larger ding, but still miniscule, and another slight dent but you need to turn the box back and forth to the light to spot it. Antique Large Mahogony Dining Room Table With Mix Matched Chairs
I have had this table for 3+ years. It is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship. All together opened up it measures 48" wide by about 111" long. It is from the 1800's so it has eye and hook which connects the 3 pieces together and swing out extra legs to add strength and stability to the drop down leaves on the center piece. There are normal wear and tear for a piece this large but nothing substantial. The legs are beautifully crafted and it is a very solid table without being super heavy. The 6 chairs that came with it have repair damage on 2 of the chairs. It can seat 12 so I have 4 other chairs that do not match the other chairs and I also added 2 other mix matched chairs to seat all 12. I can't think of anything else about it but am open to any questions you might have. I have found a 10 seat table(also antique) that ... morefits my space better so I would like to have this picked up as soon as possible!

Antique Matched Set of 4 Farm Table Legs.
These 31 inch antique farm table legs came from upper NY State and made sometime in the 19th century. They are made of old growth Floridian or Cuban mahogany which is a very rare wood now as the last old growth trees disappeared a century ago. Each leg is mortised for table rails/aprons and supports. Still solid as a rock and a wonderful 150? year old patina. 3 1/2 in. square at top. Please notice in picture there are some chipped areas and minor restorative filling on the turnings.
