Made in England, Victorian era, Circa 1890, Mahogany, Hidden drawer, Carved leg, Dovetailed drawer, Some normal wear to top, Age splits and old repairs to apron, A wonderful antique specimen from England around 1890. This hall table was probably once used as a washstand. But today would function perfectly in a foyer, entryway, hallway, or stairwell. The mahogany has a particularly nice patina to it that can only come with age. The piece features a hidden drawer in the middle for a little bit of storage room. The nicely carved front leg gives the table some pizazz while the clean lines of the piece don't over do it. The drawer is dovetailed, a sign of high quality craftsmanship. There are a few age splits and old repairs in the apron shown in the photos. These are purely cosmetic phenomenon and do not affect the structural integrity of the piece. The top also shows wear marks consistent with age and has a faded ring to the right side. Overall the table is quite sturdy and would make a wonderful addition to any home. The top is a beautiful patinated mahogany. It is in good condition. You can see the slight ring to the right side. The top does show signs of wear consistent with age in the form of tiny dings all over the surface some of which can be seen here. The wonderfully carved leg is supportive and good looking. The hidden drawer pulls out to reveal some storage space. The drawer is dovetailed. A sign of high quality craftsmanship. Both sides have similar slight age separations and repairs on the apron. Antique Beautful pedestal table dark wood (mahogany?)
This is a beautiful pedestal table. It is in very good condition. No scratches or chips or marks. It is I believe Mahogany. This is a guess however. The color and patina lead me to think this. It is my great grandmothers table and I grew up with this in my grandmas house. That is the best I can do with age. This item can be shipped anywhere but that will be up to the buyer to arrange. Very nice decorative table which I acquired some years ago from an elderly couple in Connecticut who were moving to Florida. Deep wood color blend between mahogany& cherry tones. Table has three separate shelves. Middle shelf has a small drawer with a knob that pulls out from beneath it. Sorry but I don’t really know anything about the history of the table– nor– do I know who the manufacturer was. The couple was using it to display a plant on the top shelf& books on the lower shelves. Small amount of normal wear on the shelves shelf. The company went out of business in 1985, but a few years ago, a couple of former employees bought the company and restarted production. Vintage Faux Bamboo Legged Leg Mahogany 3 Wood Nesting Tables Family Piece
I am offering this vintage set of nesting tables that were my grandparents and I am 60. Detailed faux bamboo wooden legs. They appear to be made from Mahogany. But not sure. Sturdy. 1. The largest table measures 27" tall and the top measures 14" x 18" 2. The middle sized table measures 26.5" tall with the top measuring 13" x 15" 3. The smaller table measures 26" tall with the top measuring 12" x 13.5" The larger table has a ridge around the top. It also has a hair line crack almost completely through the middle of the top(see photos) and is lighter colored than the other two from exposure. There are no major scratches but are some that look like superficial sliding scratches from opening and closing the tables on the second and third one and some random minor ones from use and wear. On one leg ... morethere is bump discoloration(see photo) Also a very faint glass ring on top of the larger table. There are Brass Screws. There are no markings of maker but is stamped into the wood"1017" under larger table. Very Nice two tier step end table Mid Century Modern Mahogany wood legs
Very nice two tiered step end table. 27x15.25 with a height of 22" to the top tier and 15.75 to the bottom/main tier. I would say this is a red mahogany color. Comes from a clean non smoking home. The table is clean and redy to use. It is stamped on the bottom 493 with no other markings. Each leg has a metal cap foot. Minor chips along the sides to the formica. See photos.
