It is truly a nice period untouched table. It has a ribbon mahogany top, round corner drop leaves, heavy bold column four legged base, solid cast brass Duncan Phyfe claw foot and built in castors. I normally don’t buy period furniture like this, but I was very impressed by how untouched this piece was. The overall size is 40.5 inches long, 24 inches wide when the leaves are closed, 15 inches wide on each leaf, 52 inches long when the leaves are flipped up. The finish is very nice for being 180 years old. It does show normal nicks, dings and scratches, but I believe it would rub out nicely to make a good presentation.

Up for sale we have a very fine Eastlake Walnut commode with rare veined marble top. The commode is in all original condition with strong sturdy construction. This piece dates from the 1880 and has all the drawers and door full working order. The wood has beautiful graining with burled wood right on the front of the drawers. The hardware is very unusual for a small piece as it has large brass backplates with lots of Victorian detail. The marble is a rare color and texture with little fossilized pieces throughout. There did used to be a back splash that was on the back of the marble. But like many of its kind it is lost. There are still some holes in the marble top that can be expertly filled and polished invisably. We will have this done if the piece does not sell on Ebay. VTG CUERVO 1800 TEQUILA BOTTLE IN DOVE-TAILED WOOD BOX - MEXICO - NO CONTENTS
Very nice Cuervo 1800 tequila bottle that will come in its original dove-tailed wood box. There is no liquor in the bottle. The label is intact and is quite attractive. The bottle has a large wood stopper that screws on and off. It measures about 9 inches tall and the base of the bottle is 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches. The seal. Although broken, is still present on the stopper and there is a Cuervo paper label around the neck of the bottle. The wooden box is in very nice condition with"Cuervo 1800" stamped in black on the lid of the box. As stated, the box is dove-tailed and it has a red felt frame inside, so to speak, where the bottle will fit perfectly without movement. There is a latch on the side of the box. The box measures 5 3/4 x 10 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. There is only a small hairline crack on the back side of the lid of the box so ... morereally doesn't show and is certainly not an alarming defect at all. They have requested that its time for others to enjoy. In researching the internet, I located the following information about this anemometer. Bufords scale is on the second line of the numbered meter. In 1805. A British Naval officer called Francis Beaufort introduced a scale from 0-12 for measuring the speed of the wind at sea. Beaufort developed the scale by matching the customs for setting a ship's sails with the speed and strength of the wind. He used everyday terms for each level of his scale. It is now used to describe the effect of wind on the surface of the water as well as on a range of everyday objects on the land- from smoke to flags, trees and roof tiles. This is a very Charming water color and Pyrography wood tray. It is such a wonderful Dutch scene with the canal. Windmills, sailboat and of course the Man and Woman. I love his wood shoes and pants got to love the hat too. She looks so cute in her apron. The tray is 15 1/2" by 9" Please look at the photos it does have some paint loss in the gree of the grass and one corner has been cracked you can't see it from the front a little glue would fix it fine if you wanted to I just used it as is. All Brass, Dove Tailed Joints, Goose Finial, 19th Century.See pictures) These early dove talied joints were common in 18th Century metal work, but had just about disappeared before the mid 19th Century. The finial is an extremely fine detailed Goose, another example of early workmanship.See pictures) Nice cutwork with three different formats,See pictures) The cover is 22" high, 14" in diameter. There are a few very old repairs, a 1/2" split which isn't repaired. I can find no maker's name or mark on the cover. An index card file box, an envelope compartment, and many other various sizes of drawers, doors, trays, etc. It also has a pull-out slab of wood(work space) above each of the top side drawers, three electric outlets, and a hole in ... morethe back of the desk for a cord to go through. Some of the desk drawers have removable wood dividers, and a couple of those are missing. The tops of both pieces were long ago covered in a very durable, smooth red vinyl material. Large knee-hole area. Due to the dovetailed drawers, my guess is it's from the 1930's or earlier, but that is only a guess. There is a small brass plate with a serial number etched into it. This small oval brass piece is located on the front top left corner. Just under the front left corner overhang. It could be a banker's desk, teacher, insurance, attorney, or just about anything. It's a nice BIG work area, and could be great for crafts or even clock repairing. The condition is very good. Time to start on the storage shed again. This is an old Ma Jong Set made of Bone and Bamboo. There are 146 Bone& Bamboo Tiles which includes 6 blanks. A tiny box with two Die also Bone and 126 Bone Counting Sticks which consists of 36-1's, 10-5's, 37-2's, and 33-10's. The tiles are all dove tailed(see photo) to combine the bone and bamboo. They are all packed in a wood box which is marked"Ma Jong, Made in China" All the tiles and counting sticks are in excellant condition. The box does show some wear. Up for auction is a very old 12 pane window from a 1700's New England cape. One side is a 1940's hospital green. The other a barn red. There is some cracking and chipping of paint. The wood is strong without rot and has dove-tailed joints. The glass appears to be all original. Some of the grout is crumbling but would not be a detriment if just used for display or hanging. It measures 42" x 25" and each pane measures 6 3/4' x 8 3/4" Shipping and packaging is difficult with windows but I am a'over' packer so barring a shipping issue it should arrive safe and sound. Offered is a MISSISSIPPI GLASS COMPANY wooden box in Excellent Condition. What was this used for? I have no idea. I got really excited when I found it this morning at an estate sale over the line in Mass. because I grew up in Mississippi. When I got home and googled Mississippi Glass Company. I discovered that it had nothing to do with my home state. It started in St. Louis so I would suppose that it got its name from the river, not the State. The box measures approximately 8 1/2 by 5 by 4 1/4 inches.

Antique Oak Wood Wall Telephone Dove Tailed Box w/ metal bells without the ...
Even though this old wood/wooden. Oak? dove tailed telephone looks to be missing a lot of the parts, including the inside mechanism, it is a wonderful old, dove tailed box to use as decorative purposes or to use as a little storage box. Or someone might need it as a part? What you see in the photos/pictures uploaded is what you get and I hope the pictures will speak for themselves. Most of the wood looks to be intact and in good condition. There are places made in the box where I assume the cords and other parts of the original phone were. It still has the metal bells on the front. And, on the inside of the front side that lifts, there's a piece with some loose wires on it. But the inner parts have been taken out. So, again makes a great vintage, decorative, storage box collectible or could be used as a part for another phone. Again, ... morethe wood looks to be good. There's some rub, color and surface wear, etc. The back part, that I assume is suppose to be mounted to a wall, measures approximately 9 1/2 inches top to bottom and approximately 6 3/4 inches side to side. Front to back it measures approximately 5 3/4 inches and this is excluding the metal bells that come out a little more on the front of the phone. I tried to get pictures of all the sides. Vintage wooden crayon box with dove-tailed construction for One Gross Celebrated WALTHAM SCHOOL CRAYONS. This is all that legible on the end of this old box. One side of the box also has something printed on it. But all I can kind of make out is This Box Contains Celebrated American Waltham Crayons. Parts of the box are darkened with what is either melted wax from the crayons or dark parts of the wood grain. Also. It looks like the box was varnished, because there's a sheen to the finish.
