Mid Century Modern Butcher Block& Chrome Dining Conference Desk Table 96x42 96" wide x 42" deep x 29 5/8" tall(and has feet levelers) This table came from an estate in Philadelphia. Nice old finish. Heavy chrome plated steel legs. The table was re-glued at some point and straps were added at the five and six section(at 8 inches from the top in the pics of the underneath) The other two straps seen at the bottom don't look to be needed for anything. The only thing you can see on top. There is a slight raise in a couple spots at five meets six. We could not get it to show up well in the pics. The rest of the table is seamless. A few scratches and scuffs from use appropriate for it's age. Pick up in Wilmington Delaware is free and tax free!

This is a vintage Baker dining room table or conference table in mahogany with 2 pedestals each with 4 brass feet with wheels. Baker is a well known high-end quality furniture maker. The table top finish is in very good condition. There is damage to 2 of the pedestal legs where a family pet had gnawed at some of the wood and finish but it can be disguised with polish. There are a few small losses of veneer on table edge. The table measures approximately 44 inches wide X 68 inches long X 29 inches high without the leaves. There are 3 leaves of approximately 17.5 inches wide which can extend the table to 10 feet. But it turned out to be too large for my space(84"Long X 45"Wide X 30"Tall) I am quite fond of mid century furniture and this piece is very simple and practical, yet is made extremely well. The Leopold Company of Burlington, IA were very well known desk and office furniture makers for 100 years(quite a bit of information on them if you google search) This fantastic table has an immense walnut top that really shines up well. It's two large pedestal legs also give that contemporary feel that makes mid century furniture so impressionable. This table is now in my garage and taking up space. This table was constructed for Size. Strength, and Durability. I wanted a kitchen table that I could give to my grand-children and it be just as strong as the day I built it. And I feel I've accomplished this. The 4x4's are fastened with 6' Timberlok heat-treated corrosion-sealed screws. Its been stained with a steel-wool& vinegar mixture and sealed with 3 coats of Minwax semi-gloss polyurethane. This is an OVER-SIZED kitchen table or a Conference Room Table.
