A pair of extremely well made chairs. Around 40 years old. The blue-grey tweed upholstery is in fine condition, and the exposed wood shows only minor wear. These chairs are very similar in style and quality to the Kittinger reproduction for Colonial Williamsburg of an English Rococo gentleman's smoking chair, circa 1760. This pair of chairs is not marked by any maker. But the quality of manufacture is excellent. This style of chair offers comfort and style with a continuous crest rail and padded back, arms and seat, and can be used equally well in various rooms at home. Vintage ~ Mid Century MERSMAN Colonial Style COFFEE TABLE Turned Spayed Legs For your consideration I am offering a lovely Mersman Mid Century. Colonial Style Coffee Table in good condition. It is missing the center pull out drawer. And has a few marks on the top as pictured in the last two photos. The table shows some finish wear throughout consistent with age(see photos- the final two show the marks on top the table up close)Doesn't appear to have a laminate on it. So could easily be refinished. I believe it is made from maple wood. The wood color is true to pictures. Solid structural condition. All legs are intact and table has no wobble. Has the Mersman's makers mark underneath and the#8617. A very appealing coffee table and a beautiful piece of quality furniture from the past. They don't make em' like this anymore.
