The light has been re-wired with a new UL-Listed bulb holder and cord. The cord has a two prong plug and is 5 feet long. We have also installed a on/off switch on the side of the light. A fine late 19th century brass mounted cowrie shell pocket snuff box. The hinged lid is engraved: Samuel Wyles Burton& dated 1878. Condition is excellent with wonderfull patina to the shell& a good strong hinge. There is a small hairline on the shell end which i have pictured, it has never been repaired or apart& i think the hairline has been there a long time, it certainly does not affect the function at all& requires no attention. 19TH C. PR VILLEROY BOCH PASTORAL BRASS MOUNTED HAND PTD SIGNED PORCELAIN URNS
Description: Fine Pair Polychrome Gilt and Brass or Bronze German Hand Painted Porcelain Ribbed Urns by VB(Villeroy and Boch Mettlach) 19th c. Signed"Lebrun" with pastoral, lion mounted waterfall monument, mountain and lake landscape, with 18th c, lasses with there sheeps and goat among trees and flora. The scenes are continuous from the front around to to the back. This flat bulbous urn is mounted with a pierced brass gallery, ornate brass dragon and a continental style face handles and a pierced brass mounted base atop four lions paw feet. Signed"VB" There is one incised mark that looks like"910" and a relief mark but they are both illegible. There are what look like numbers or letters around the bottom of the edge of the vases right above the"VB" but they are obscured by the brass base. The signature ... moreappears to be"Lebrun" after the famous 18th c. painter Vigee Lebrun. Lebrun specialized in these types of portraits and scenes and that were used on numerous forms of decorative porcelain. Condition is almost excellent with a few exceptions. On the one area on the rear of one urn(see photo) it appears the glaze may not have settled properly during the firing process and has left a minor pitted surface. This area is about 4" wide(from rib to rib) and 6" high(from the bottom of the urn to just above the mountain) To me this does not affect the overall picturesque quality of the urns. On the front of the urn next to the lass there is one narrow scratch approx: 1/2 long below the basket and right above the goat. There is one very small scratch approx: 1/4" on the rear of the same urn. Some gold gilt has worn off the molded edge just below the fitted pierced gallery from age(see photo) Both urns measure approx: 13 1/2 Tall(to top of handle) x 8 1/2" wide(from outside of handles) x 5 1/2" deep. Antique Chinese Marine Shell Brass Mounted Jian Court Sword c1890 This is for an antique Chinese marine shell and brass mounted Jian court sword. Circa 1890. The sturdy forged steel straight blade. Is double-edged with symetrical sloping sides. The hilt has a hardwood grip. Carved with fluting, and has an aperture for a sword knot. The Ruyi form brass cross-guard and pommel are decorated with chased technique to depict a Chinese character. Flanked by bats and scrolls, on a stipple chased ground. The sword retains its original wood scabbard, which is decorated with precious marine shell veneer, with mottled orange and black hues, and brass mounts, all chased with Chinese charachters and bats. And attachment loops to wear the sword on a belt. This sword was likely presented to an offical to be worn as a sign of rank. The sword measures 576 ... moremm in length overal. The blade measures 415 mm in length. It weighs 530 grams. The condition is generally very good. Without damage or repair, there are areas of wear to the marine shell veneer, and a light fracture to the wood grip, otherwise excellent. Please see images. Guaranteed old& original. For sale is a beautiful pair of antique brass candle sconces with a rich green patina in some of the crevices. They weigh 234 grams each and mount with four screws. They protrude 9" from the wall and can swing freely on their hinges. The mount itself is 3.25" tall and wide. Each sconce will accept a candle up to 1" diameter and has a screw to hold smaller candles securely. Inside of mount is stamped CM 741.

Vintage or Antique Brass Wall Mounted Windchime Bell
Offered for sale is this vintage or antique wall mounted brass windchime bell with grape and vine decoration. No makings. Don't know the maker and age. The wall mount bracket is 10-1/2"H x 5-1/4"Depth. The bell is 3-3/4"H x 3-3/8"D. The bell hanger to the bottom of windcatcher is 15-1/2"long. The bell is heavy for its size. So it has beautiful sound. The whole set weighs 2.2 lbs. I think this windchime bell can be changed to a lovely door bell by taking off the wind catcher. The piece is in excellent condition except the steel chain has some rusty for age. I think this bell possibly was made in Italy.

1914 Eli Griffiths & Sons Birmingham Brass Kerosene Wall Mounted Lantern
The burner of this lantern slides out and on the side of it is stamped Eli Griffiths& Sons Birmingham 1914. The Clip at the top of the lantern is stamped EG& S 1916. The brass lantern is intact and has not been restored. All the parts appear to be present. The slide which covers the opening to the burner adjustment needs to be reattached. The lantern is 16" high. 8" across the back and 5" front to back. Behind the burner is a white enamel reflector which is in excellent condition. The lantern is extremely heavy.

You are bidding on a wonderful Antique wall mounted oil lamp holder that came out of a 1700's New England farm house. I do not know the age of the brass lamp holder or where it was made. The cup screws tightly on to the arm and there are two screws on the sides of the cup to hold the lamp or planter. This unusual piece of art is 11.5 inches long and the cup has a beautiful flower design. This item has been used for many years and has not been polished or cleaned and is in as found condition. This is the second pair of Colorado spurs that came out of the same collection. And the last pair of marked Colorado spurs. Vintage pair of marked spurs with a 1 and 1/8 inch concho that is marked Colorado Saddlery Denver. Also all 4 swingers are marked Colorado. These spurs came out of a Wyoming collection that I purchased a few years back. I sold several pair out of this collection previously on ebay. Spurs are all original without any breaks or repairs and are solid. Rowel is 1 and 3/4 inches wide with a dull 16 points and each spur has original jingle bobs. Unusual Wall Mounted Brass Large Brass Bell, Ornate, from Estate - with Angel
Bell is in good condition. Out of an estate. When mounted the total length of the unit is 16 inches, not counting the chain to pull to ring it. Bell itself is about 5 inches in diameter. It is all aged brass, different. Photos one and two is the top and bottom of the bell- I couldn't photograph it together while holding it upright. Bell says on the sides: Vocem-meam-aud; and also: Qui-me-tangit- Touch me and I will speak. On the front of the wall holder is an angel. Solid forged brass, baked on enamel finish. Never needs polishing. There was some candle wax residue in the bottom of the candleholder, I removed as much of it as I could, they look very good, there is very little wear from use and age. EB engraved on the back of each sconce, which from what I was told is the old Baldwin Hallmark. These were purchased in the late 1960's. ANTIQUE MOUNTED SOLID BRASS TELESCOPE No reserve! Offering this early BARDOU& SON PARIS" tripod mounted telescope. The telescope is 38" in length plus the eyepiece is another 18" long with sliding lens cover. The optic system is not working. The tripod mounting attachment is also missing and the fine focus adjustment knob is in place and it does work but needs attention, the long eye piece has a sliding lens cover intact. This telescope is worthy of the restoration. Bardou was 1 of the more prolific and better known makers of this type of telescope during the 19th& 20th centuries. Handmade BILL HOMER Silver Brass Mounted Loose Cheek Curb BIT
This is a used handmade loose cheek curb bit made by Bill Homer from Groom. Texas. Bill started building bits and spurs full time in 1994. The bit is marked Homer inside one cheek piece and numbered 116 03 inside the other cheek piece. Bill is listed in Bits& Spurs Motifs. Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned& Jody Martin. The bit is steel and the steel is beginning to freckle. It is mounted with nickel silver on the rings and the cheek pieces are mounted with a brass flower with nickel silver scrolls and leaves. It is not bent. Broken, or repaired. This would be a nice bit to use or to add to a collection from a very collectible maker. This is a very nice high-quality vintage wall-mounted brass bathroom/bathtub sponge and soap holder. The area for sponge and soap measures 12” wide by 5 7/8” deep by 2 3/4” high. Once mounted. The holder will protrude 7 3/8” from the wall. This fixture is in what I consider to be very good condition for its age, although I should mention some light surface scratches and some oxidation, especially in the soap-dish portion(please consult the detailed pictures) This fine brass fixture is among many fine retro.
