For auction please find this very old Glass plate that I believe is Early American Pattern Glass. The pattern seems to be Diamond and Fan.but looks like there is another design in between the fans. It's a bit curved. But not enough to call it a bowl, and is 9 1/2" across. The rounded sawteeth have a pretty good amount of chips. With only one that I would call Whoops to. The rest are nicks, but there are quite a few of them, especially on the underside of the plate. It weighs nearly 3 1/2 lbs. I'm not real knowledgable about Glass. But even I can tell this is One Old Piece! BEST OF LUCK!

BLOWN GLASS PLATE ANTIQUE c1830 CLEAR WITH LOOPED OPEN LACE PATTERN ON EDGE Produced around 1830. This is an exceptionally nice antique blown glass plate. The clear glass has an intricate open lace edge pattern, looped layer upon layer, all done by hand. Measures approximately 9 1/4" in diameter and is approximately 1 1/4" high. The pontil on the back is slightly rough. This plate has nice weight to it and it rings like a bell when tapped. The maker is unknown. Good antique condition with no cracks or chips. There are a few light scratches on the inside base. As well as a couple of straw lines within the glass which occurred during production. Any bright white, yellow or red colors are from camera flash. VERY WELL MADE AND QUITE A DECORATIVE PIECE!
