The Serving Dish is the only piece I have ever had marked Fraget and with a bit of reasearch I found this was a Polish(then part of Russia) Silver Company know for very fine quality workmanship and later became part of the famous WMF Company. So you know the quality is top notch. The Centerpiece Serving Dish consists of a very large Silver Plate frame or stand, modeled to look like Bamboo and featuring large Fruit and Leaf patterns as well. The Frame is quite large and very impressive measuring 10-1/2" tall by 13-1/4" across. There is also 3 lovely Cut Glass Dishes that fit in this frame and they measure 7" long by 4-3/4" wide and sit 1-1/4" deep. The Frame is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs and looks to have no wear to the Silver Plate down to the base metal. The Glass Dishes are also in good order, one has a chip and cracked area as seen in our photos, another just has one small chip and the 3rd is in excellent condition.

Antique hand cut and pressed glass, candy or nut dishes. These came from Europe with one of my relatives in the 1920's. The glass is very heavy and each dish has the same pattern and size; 9" in length. 3 3/4" in width and 1 1/2" in height. The handles on each are hand cut on the outer curves. The rims of each dish also appear to be cut. The sides and bottom may be pressed as they are tiny hobnails with flowers impressed into each bump. The dishes have no cracks or structural damage but there are tiny nicks around the edges and some of the flowers on the sides have sharp edges. Although these three are a matched set there are slight differences in each dish. One being ... morethe color of the glass. One dish is a bit whiter than the others. These are pieces that belonged to my great aunt and if this is a pattern. I do not know the maker or the name of it. The two candy or nut dishes are lovely and each measures 8 1/2" in length to the end of their fan handles. They are 4" in width. The pattern of pleats and folds with a center flower is deeply impressed on the reverse side. No chips or cracks although there are one or two sharp edges from the mold. England in 1910/1911(date marks vary these years) These come with the original velvet& silk lined fitted case. Each salt cellar measures approx. 1-7/8" in diameter across the top x 1-1/8" tall. Each spoon measures approx. 2-1/4" in length. These items are used& in good condition. The silver has typical light surface wear& some tarnish. These could use a good polish& buff. They have hung on her wall until she passed away a few years ago. I don't know whether she attached the metal wall hangers to them or if she bought them that way. Each dish is 11" diameter to the in part of the scalloped edge and 11 1/2 to the outer part. There's a quilted effect on outer dish that I absolutely love(see photo) and the translucent sheen on the milk glass is exquisite. Even the back of the dishes display an artistic sunburst. Vintage - Antique pair of Pedestal Candy Dishes...Milk Glass and frosted depress
Up for auction is a pair of pedestal candy dishes.one is white milk glass and the other is a frosted blue depression glass. The white one I picked up at an estate sale and the blue I found at a local thrift store. When doing research on these. I believe them to be either from Westmoreland or one of the mid-western glass companies that were producing in and around the 1930s and 40s. They are beautiful pieces and even cooler that there are two with the same design but different colors. There are no cracks, chips or breaking on either of the dishes. They are great examples of depression-era glass work and will make a wonderful gift or a great addition to someone's collection. They measure approximately 7" tall and 6" wide. Antique EAPG Child’s ABC Ice Cream Plates 4 Dishes Federal Glass Children's
Offered for auction is a rarely seen set of antique child’s clear glass dishes. These early American pattern glass dishes were made by Federal Glass Company and date to 1910. They are from the Wabash Series. These wonderful child’s plates are decorated with the alphabet around the other rim and ICE CREAM with a dish of ice cream and spoon in the center. The are reverse decorated from the back and the front is smooth. All are in excellent condition with the early glass showing some bubbles. One has a tiny black spot near the ice cream. The Dishes are in excellent condition for being well over 100 years old with no large chips, no cracks or repairs of any kind. The Silver Bases could use a good buffing to look like new and the one has a filled base while the other does not. The Dishes are a great size for display or use serving candy and nuts measuring 5-1/8" across the tops and sitting 1-3/4" tall at the edges. The family gave me a*guesstimate* on their age of well over 80 yrs old based on family history. As I said. A Pair of Antique Victorian Cut Glass Sweetmeat Dishes with Van Dyke Rims c.1860
A pair of mid Victorian cut glass sweetmeat or bonbon dishes dating around 1860. These items were also sometimes used as master salts at the dinner table. This pair are of good quality and were possibly manufactured the Richardson’s glass factory. The dishes have shallow bowls and rims cut in the Van-Dyke form and there are lens cuts around the bowls. The stems are hollow blown and cut and the feet are star cut and scalloped to the outside edges. Please note due to their hand made nature there are slight differences in size. Stock Code: 7603 AP12-5 Height 11.5 cms(4.5 inches) Width 12 cms(4.75 inches) Weight 508 grams(before packing) Both in good order for period and appear little used overall. Antique Victorian Wood Glass Apothecary Pharmacy Scale with Marble Top & Dishes
Antique Victorian wood apothecary pharmacy scale. There is a hinged lid that is glass on the top to see the scale. The Lid is surrounded by wood for protection. The bottom has a marble top. Brass pointed scale with stainless trays for measuring. There is a screw at the front that makes the scale go up and down. Turn right to use as scale; left for stationary. The scale measures 14" long x 7" wide and 7" tall. It is pink in color. Unsure if it was painted from the wood. The back has a small piece of paint missing and shows the wood color with the various other colors. It doesn't look to have been painted recently for sure. Pair of Antique Sterling Silver& Bristol Blue Glass Table Salt Cellars or Sauce Dishes dated 1912 Each salt or sauce dish measures approximately 2 3/ 4 inches or 71 mm across its length from end to end by just under 1 5/8 inches or 42 mm across its width from side to side and it stands just under 1 5/8 inches or 40 mm tall to the top of its liner rim. The salt cellars or sauce dishes are made from sterling silver in oval shapes with stepped upper and lower rims that are either side of their delightful pierce decorated bodies and each salt or sauce dish stands on four ball shaped feet. The salt or sauce dishes are both complete with their original snug fitting internal Bristol blue glass liners and they have Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram all as photographed below. The side of each one has been impressed ... morewith a matching full set of English sterling silver hallmarks that read as follows, G.N over R.H- Lion Passant- Three Wheat Sheaves- stylized M G.N over R.H is the Birmingham silversmith or makers mark of George Nathan& Ridley Hayes. The Lion passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterling silver, the Three Wheat Sheaves is the mark of the Chester assay office and the stylized letter M is the date letter for 1912. Part of the rarity of these dishes is in the fact that they have been impressed with Chester hallmarks. The Chester assay office was closed in August 1962 and pieces that bear this mark have become harder to find as they are more desirable to the serious collector. The condition is used and near Mint for their age. The salt cellars or sauce dishes have No Dents. No Splits, No Cracks, No Holes and No Repairs that I can find, the dishes stand upright, the decoration is very crisp, the internal glass liners are in Mint condition with no chips and no cracks, the silver hallmarks are still legible although as the salt or sauce dishes are used antiques they do have some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use along with the patina of age that is to be

This antique set of three matching dishes each have two bands of gold gilding around the outer rim. They are identical small bowls that could be used for fruit. Desert, a sauce, or really anything. Their size and shape make them unique and versatile. From what the original owner told me they were produced aroung the 20's-30's. Some of the gold trim is slightly worn off with age and there are a few small scratched on the bottoms. But besides that they are in really great condition. Up for auction are 2 antique silverplate butter dishes. The holidays are coming and these just need polished and butter knives put on their rack On the right is a glass etched like a snowflake insert w/center finger hole and marked The VanBergh SP Co quadruple plate. Rochester, NY measuring 6 1/4 diameter x 5 1/2 high. On the left is a silverplate rimmed glass insert and inside the bottom quadruple silverplate is a beautiful etching of bees, butterflies, flowers and beehive. It is marked on the bottom either Wilco or Wilcox(can't make out) quadruple plate, Meriden, Conn. 5054, pat. Dec 7, 1890 or 1870 and measures 6 1/2 diameter x 5 high. Each dish is 3" tall and 3 3/4" wide at the rim. We are shipping this item to the winning bidder via the post office. SEVEN ANTIQUE DESSERT CUPS & VINTAGE BLUE VASE - Glass - Clear - Dishes - Lot
This auction is for seven antique dessert cups. 3" tall with a 3.5" diameter and one vintage blue vase, 7.5" tall and 17" in circumference. I do not know much about these dessert cups- they were my great-great grandmother's. I would like them to find a home where they get some use and are appreciated- I will not use them myself. My estimate dates them somewhere between 1900-1930. The vase was from her home as well. I do not know anything about it either, but it does not look very old.
