Here is a wonderful antique Portland Glass Company CAKE PEDESTAL. It is in a draped FESTOON pattern. It has a small RUM WELL in the center. The top measures 8 1/2" in diameter and has 1/2" beaded lip. The entire pedestal stands 6 1/2" tall. It has the typical straw marks or bubbles in the glass. I am so darn old now that I can remember my nana putting her lemon curd cake on this with homemade vanilla and lemon flavored rum. Kids were not allowed to have any. It has NO chips or damage. It is a great size for a simple holiday table to a wedding for desserts. I try at all times to represent my item fairly. And truthfully. The base has a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. This plate has a rainbow irridescence with stretch lines. In excellent condition. No chips or cracks.
