In a 3-floor brownstone just filled with antique and vintage pottery, porcelain, and glass pieces from all over the world, we have for auction a Pair of Antique Porcelain Busts of a Boy and Girl, made by Nymphenburg Porcelain. The 9 ½" and 10" tall figures are in good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Both pieces, created by Franz Anton Bustelli, are exceptionally detailed in the signature style of the artist. The Nymphenburg name and logo are clearly marked on the bottom. This is a very old and beautiful piece that would make stunning statement in any room or a welcome addition to any collection. Rare Pair of Antique German KPM Porcelain Girl & Boy Sleigh Dresden Figurine
This is a gorgeous pair of large handpainted porcelain figural KPM sleighs! A boy and girl dressed in Royal clothing and both sleighs covered in apprlied porcelain flowers. Beautiful! They are heavy weighted porcelain and each measure approximately 8 inches high by 10 inches wide. Both have some chipping to the applied flowers and leaves and on the boy's sleigh. It looks like there is some yellowing and wear to the paint/glaze. Not readily noticed on display unless you are looking. Overall a gorgeous Victorian pair for the collector! Old Vtg Occupied Japan Figurines Porcelain Boy Girl Dancing Pair Together People
This is a pair of dancing children. They were made in Occupied Japan. They are 4-3/4" tall. As you can see in the picture I have highlighted the girls waist and hand. At one time in the past she must have been dropped and glued back together. I got these in an estate collection and wanted to keep the pair together. Pair Of Sitzendorf Figurines Boy And Girl With Animals
Beautiful pair of porcelain figurines made by the Sitzendorf factory. One is a girl holding a basket of flowers in one hand. A single flower in the other hand with a sheep standing beside her. The other is a boy playing a flute with a dog beside him. They are each roughly 7" tall on great scalloped bases. The faces are well detailed with rosy cheeks and red lips. Dressed in 18th century costume that is also well painted. More applied flowers on the bases. Each has the blue underglaze Sitzendorf mark along with impressed marks of a 2 and 429/OF for the girl and 429/OM for the boy. The girl is near perfect with only a minor chip off of a leaf to the flower in her right hand. The boy has no damage to the flowers but one end of his flute is missing. Colors are vibrant. WONDERFUL LARGE PAIR VICTORIAN GERMAN BISQUE BOY & GIRL FIGURES Holding Books
For your consideration is this Wonderful Pair Of German Boy and Girl Bisque Figures. They are unmarked. This pair measures just under 18 inches tall, they are each holding books, the girl has one in her hand and has dropped two others, the boy is reading his book. The colors are lovely pail pinks and blues, much detail in their faces. The girl does have some discoloration on her arm, see picture, there is no broken areas on either of the figures. DRESDEN, GERMANY: BOY& GIRL PORCELAIN FIGURINES Each measures approximately 3 3/4" high and 1 1/4" wide Both are have the Sitzendorf post 1954 marking and they are numbered(43 for the boy and 16 for the girl) I brought these figurines over 30 years ago in Germany. Gorgeous Estate PAIR VICTORIAN BISQUE FIREPLACE MANTLE BOY GIRL FIGURES
Up for auction from a Boston estate is this beautiful Pair of Victorian Bisque/ porcelain mantle Figures. They are beautifully done and are of a Young man and woman. Both holding pitchers. The Figures are white with cobalt bluish and light bluish accents. They each have very small shamrock type flowers delicately displayed on their clothing. They also feature fine gold/gilt accents throughout such as around the rim of their pitchers. Their clothing edges, etc. I do not know anything about them as they were purchased at a Boston estate full of very high quality décor. The description when purchased was“Early 1800’s mantle figurines” They did have an insurance appraisal sitting next to most of the items displayed and these had a $350 appraisal per piece. Unusual pair of fine German style figurines on pedestals of two charming children in front of trees. They are both gathering flowers which are beautifully painted. This is a well aged piece but the colors are still bright. There is no noticeable marking as to its maker. But the quality is there. 10" H x 6" W. Rare Pair of Cortendorf German Figurines- A Boy and Girl- both holding flower bouquets and Letters or Valentines. These are most charming from the hearts on is vest to the mushrooms on their bases. They both have incised numbers on bottom(he is 1500. She is 1501) She has her original label on front base and backstamp. He no longer has his label, and his backstamp on bottom is more"weak" but present none the less. Condition is very good for their age. The only area to note is on the back tip top of the feather in his cap- there is a little knick to the surface- not enough to affect the form of the feather, but mentioned for accuracy. He stands 10 1/8" tall, she- 9 5/8" Handpainting is in very good condition with remarkably few paint chips. Outside of a few of paint chips, there are no plaster chips I can see. She does have a hairline on her throat running from the left of her Adam's apple around the right side of her neck stopping just short of the center of her back. It does not go all the way through and her head is secure. I tried to move it and it is completely solid indicating that this is a surface issue.
