Vintage Germany Porcelain Bisque Piano Baby Figurine Doll from estate LR? Crown?
I recently purchased this beautiful. Bisque/porcelain piano baby at an estate. I uploaded 9 pictures hoping you can tell more about it and the condition. I am not sure of the exact age or the maker. I took a close up picture of the imprinting on the back, bottom side and on the bottom. There's some numbers that are difficult to make out on the back side near the bottom and then'Germany' going across. On the bottom looks to be a crown with the initials'LR' It looks to be in good displayable condition. I do not see any chips, nicks or cracks. I did notice, and I think it was in the making, at the top of one of its arms, there's a little place and not even sure how to describe. It's where the skin color is suppose to be to the edge of the arm sleeve but it has a spotting or place where it looks like some of it was ... moreleft off in the making? again.not sure how to describe. I tried to get a close-up of it so hopefully you can see what I am referring to. It measures approximately 5 3/4 inches tall. And from the front of its feet to the back, it measures approximately 4 1/2 inches. It is some dusty, etc. I haven't tried to clean. I am selling just the way I purchased. Awesome Heubach piece has everything you could want in a figurine. Beautiful bubble blowing girl has great size. Super color, intricate detail, desirable coralene, and a face like an angel, with.of course.those deep intaglio eyes. Nice big heavy figurine is almost 14 inches tall. Only the finest Heubach pieces show such high quality workmanship. Condition is quite remarkable on this 100+ year old piece. Despite a few flaws. 1) Sadly, it is missing the pipe. This is very common with the bubble blowing children. 2) There is a tiny fleabite fleck at the base of the stool. 3) I believe the pinkie finger has been professionally repaired. Manderine Male figure with child on back. Wonderful detail with magnificent faces. Warm soft pastel shades of soft blue. Yellow white and tan highlighted with gilt on this unglazed bisque figure. The Manderin has delicate features and a wonderful fu-manchu mustache. The child on his bak ahs delicate arms hands and feet. Each head nods from front to back and work perfectly. Each is in wonderful condition. I am not sure if the child head is original. the pivot pin is wood and paint is peeling from his face. So it is not porcelaine. Appears to be painted on porcelaine. Shoe and angel vase may be either antique or could be vintage. 1) The largest is an antique bisque piece in white, it has an unfinished feel to it and is a girl in a bonnet with a watering can. Could be a planter? But it looks like a figurine. There are a couple of chips in the back where it doesn’t show in the design. It is stamped into the bisque 6160 Germany, 4" tall by 3" wide. 2) The smallest piece is a ceramic glazed shoe with flowers on the top 2 ½" long by 1 ½" No chips or cracks. 3) White Glazed Vase with Angel with face in hands and yellow wings. This is a lovely pair of German antique figurines. They are approx. 6” tall. They are in excellent condition with the exception of the boys' flute& right thumb. Each figurine has a hole on the side& crackle in the back of the chairs(from original/age) There are a few typical manufacturing flaws from this era such as air bubbles. Dark specks, and glaze flaws. Antique Victorian era mantel shelf spill vase and match holder of bisque porcelain. 11 1/2" tall. 5" across the base and 3" deep at the base. The back is impressed"9986 GERMANY" It is also marked with the DEP mark and a manufacturer's mark that looks like an overlay of G and I or H. This is one of those whimsical pieces that appealed to the Victorian taste- a young boy with a gathering basket looks down to the base of a ladder at an excited little dog. Except for a few accents of metallic gold, the only painted portion is the boy and his basket, the ladder and dog are unpainted matte white. There is a narrow opening on the back of the ladder that could hold spills and the basket would be an ideal place for matches- they would look like gathered wood ... moreand could probably be struck against the textured exterior of the basket. At some point in time, the basket was broken off of the piece and has been glued back in place. From the front side, it looks in perfect condition and is only noticeable if you know where to look. From the back, you will notice the broken line of separation on the boy's back and at the top corner of the basket. Up for bids is a set of 2 Kalk. Germany porcelain figurines. They have a cute"Fairy Tale" Theme as the boy is with the Golden Goose and the girl is spinning Golden Wheat. Very detailed and beautifully painted. They are both marked on the bottom with the crossed arrows and S8484. Measure 4" x 2 3/4" base and 4 3/4" tall. Wonderful antique condition! The only problems I noticed were a tiny spot of paint loss on the goose's nose and the handle of the ax appears to be repaired. I have taken close-ups of these areas so be sure to examine the photos. 1850-1899 Bisque Ceramic & Porcelain Renaissance Boy Playing Lute Germany
Carl Schneider. Artist Karl Unger, and H ermann Hutschenreuther founded their business in 1859. But since Hutschenreuther was a sleeping partner. His name does not appear in the company name until 1885. The company only produced tableware. Miniature sets for children and a few kitchen utensils, mostly decorated in the cobalt blue'Zwiebel- and'Strohblumenmuster' styles. The company was soon recognized and their first international award was received 1875 at the Exposición Internacional de Chile(Santiago World Fair) One issue that plagued them was that their mark looked very similar to other porcelain manufacturer marks. This lead to the introduction of the first mark that actually was used continuously, the impressed and uncrowned'G' mark with the double-headed arrow which was used from 1875 onwards. This bisque figurine ... moreis amazing in its detail work. The colors are still vibrant and strong. Blues. Oranges and gold trim is evident throughout the piece. Showing a renaissance boy playing a lute, wearing his finest, with his rosy cheeks and feathered hat, the detail is amazing. The piece is marked on the back with"10582" and the Unger, Schneider& Cie. mark, along with the"Dep" indicator. This can either mean Depose or Deponiert. The mark is commonly found on German porcelain and means that the company has applied for a copyright. Information on the mark. With date confirmation(shown below) can be found in Image 1.02 at the PM&M website. Figurine measures 9 1/2" high. 2 1/2" wide, and 1 1/2" deep. Condition as stated above. Base has significant repair work. With a piece this old, it is to be expected. Weight is 8 ounces without packing. No international shipping due to delicate nature and value of this item.

Porcelain Bisque Figurine GDEP 10628, Germany, Unger Schneider, Gräfenthal
The mark was used between 1879-1886. The mark apparently indicates the maker to be Porzellanfabrik Unger. Schneider& Cie. of Gräfenthal. It is in very good shape. The paint is fading in places, but there are no visible cracks or chips. This figurine is a little boy with a pair of pliers that is getting ready to pull the tooth of his dog. Antique Art Nouveau Lady Flower Head Bisque Porcelain Figurine German. Measures 9" tall. 2 3/4 inches long across bottom base and is 2 1/2 inches wide across bottom base. Beautiful flowing Art Nouveau woman standing bare footed holding a flower daisy type above her head, foliage leaves and a flower bud on each side of her. Bottom base has fancy scalloped floral leaf pattern. Backside is marked with incised numbers 4122. I do believe this was made in Germany but also could be Austria or French. Great condition except for there is a small nick off one flower petal, a stress line from making by her hand, a small chip off one of the grass or leaves at her side and two light hairline cracks at bottom base that can barely be seen.
