This is a cute figurine of a boy fixing a toy tractor made by Coalport. It says"Saturday's child works hard for a living" on the bottom. It also says it's modelled by John Bromley. The painted pastel details on this figurine are quite good. It's in great condition and has no cracks. Mother reading to children on a full high back old fashion French sette with gold accents. Mother has a hand painted gold skirt with pink Dresden applied lace. The little girl has on a hand painted blue top with pink applied lace and tiny colorful flowers attached to lace. Superb! Antique German Porcelain Bisque Children Figure Bust Figurine Dresden
Gorgeous pair of Victorian handpainted busts of a little girl and boy. They date late 1800s and are beautifully handpainted and modeled. Measure approximately 11 and 10 1/2 inches high by 6 inches wide. They display wonderfully however the boy's hat has been broken and reglued to a section(see photos) and the girl is excellent besides a bit of paint wear on her chin and some nibbles to the very bottom base. Marked with hand painted and impressed numbers. Beautiful pair for the collector of fine antiques! Pair of Antique Porcelain Figurine Vases with Children, frog & turtle RW Bavaria
Offered for sale is a pair of antique Bavarian porcelain vases each with two figurines(a boy& girl) beautifully rendered& painted looking at a frog on one vase and a turtle on the other. Each vase weighs almost 5 lbs. And measures 11" tall by 6 1/2" wide by 7" deep. The procelain is a beautiful off-white and as you can see from the pictures, the painting detail is amazing! These items came out of a very fancy estate! They are exquisite decorative pieces. I don't know their age, if you do, please let me know. The faces of the figurines look like porcelain dolls from the late 19th to early 20th century. Each item has it's issues, and I have tried to show them with photos. The vase with the little frog has a chip in the bottom in the back. The little girl is MISSING her arm(I do not have it) Her head has also been ... morebroken off once and glued back on. The vase with the turtle also has a chip on the foot of the vase in the back as well as a chip out of the top of the vase. The little boy's head has also been broken off and re-glued. However, with the right restoration, I believe that these wonderful pieces could be put right and would make a lovely addition to any environment. ANTIQUE GERMAN VOLKSTEDT DRESDEN PORCELAIN FIGURINE CHILDREN Falling In Love
Really finely sculpted by a mastercul sculptor and artist. The incredible expressions on their faces. The body language in the poses all show a high level of creative thought. The piece is bisque. Hand painted and large. Stands 8" tall and 8" wide approximately. Condition: Tiny flake from red ribbon on girl. One handle missing on flower basket. In between the figures there is a branch sticking out from between the two of them. It appears as if a part of that branch may have flaked off but it is very hard to see. Please see close up photos. Nice antique Volkstedt Dresden lace lady with her children and a goat. Measures 8 3/4" high and 9" wide. The lady has 2 spots of broken lace down at the bottom layer in the front of her dress. click picture to enlarge Here we have a real nice bisque porcelain planter which measures 6 1/2" tall to the top of the children's heads. 7" wide, and 5 1/2" deep. The top rim has a what looks like a manufacturer flaw.the rim has a tight split(has a tan spot as shown) Inside of planter has 4 tacky spots where artificial flowers were placed and bottom had green felt which was removed. There are a few light smudges here and there that didn't come off with soap. I know that there are tricks to removing smudges from bisque that are readily available on the internet. Hertwig Katzhutte Fancy Dressed Children Tom Thumb's Wedding Porcelain Figurine
For sale is a delightful figurine produced by the Herwig Company(Katzhutte. Thuringia Germany) It is white with gold colored highlights. When I got it, I was told that it is"Tom Thumb's Wedding" although, it might represent children dressed up. There is also a little dog in the front. The figurine is 5 1/2 inches tall. The base is 4 inches wide but since the boy's hat and the girl's dress both extend past the base the piece is closer to 5 to 5 1/2 inches wide. It is marked with the Katzhutte mark in blue. According to my reference material(Marks on German. Bohemian and Austrian Porcelain" by Robert E. Rontgen) it was made sometime between 1914 and 1958. It has no chips. Cracks, or repairs. There are two little dark marks on the girls dress in the back which happened during manufacturing. Also, over the years a little ... moreof the gold trim(on the girl's headband and bow and along the base in front) has rubbed off. Fixed cost shipping to the United States. International shipping pays actual cost. Since it is a bit of a trek to the post office. I tend to get there only on Monday and Friday depending upon storms and whether I need to take the chainsaw with me to clear the road.

Antique Rare German Rudolstadt Germany Victorian Children Figurine Group Planter
This is an Antique Rudolstadt Germany Figurine Planter. It is a Group of Victorian Children dressed as clowns sitting on a log. It measures about 9 by 7 inches and is about 7 1/2 inches tall. The children are dressed in; peach. White, light blue, and beige. There are additions of little moriage gold dots all over. It is marked on the bottom with a diamond with RW in it, topped by a crown also; GERMANY RUDOLSTADT. There is also a stray 10, and incised numbers; 4202 and 1. One of the children's heads is glued back at the neck. This was done long ago with a water soluble glue, and in my opinion is worthy of a professionally restoration. Still a Great piece no matter what!

Unusual Figurine Two Children On Chamber Pot Detailed & Unmarked
This auction is for a figurine with no chips or cracks. As shown it depicts two children sitting on a chamber pot. It is not marked unless the black paint on the bottom is supposed to represent a symbol? The little faces are very detailed& they both have cute nightshirts. The quality is ok but not up to the standards of a Heubach figurine. As shown in the pictures the back sides& bottom of the feet of both children are not painted but I didn't notice it till I started taking the pictures so in my opinion it does not distract. I also did not see the black mark on the chin of the blonde haired one till I took the pictures. My camera picks up every little detail. It does not seem to come up with gentle rubbing but also barely shows up in person. Just something slightly unusual.

This lovely hand painted porcelain antique was made by Conta Boehme and is marked Made in Germany in green under the glaze on the bottom. This particular mark was used by Conta& Boehme after 1921. This porcelain match holder and striker is of two little girls with hats. One is standing and wearing Papas new hat. The other girl is sitting on a hat. Hopefully the old hat. The match holder is a tree trunk behind the girls and the striker is on the back of the trunk. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a very small chip on the top edge of the match holder on the back. The words on the front below the girls are"PAPAS NEW HT" The A is missing in the word HAT. Please refer to pictures. It has very nice detail and color.
