We are pleased to offer. ANTIQUE CHINESE DEHUA BLANC-DE-CHINE GUANYIN STATUE For your consideration. A very rare blanc-de-chine statue of Guan Yin in very rare male form. Blanc de Chine(French for"White from China" is the traditional European term for a type of white Chinese porcelain, made at Dehua in the Fujian province, otherwise known as Dehua porcelain or similar terms. It has been produced from the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644) to the present day. The bodhisattva was introduced into China via the Silk Road and initiially, Guan Yin was presented in male form. As buddhism became localized in China, Guan Yin was sinicised and subsequently transformed into Chinese female form. By the Song dynasty, Guan Yin evolved into a female bodhisattva in white robes that we see today. The male Guan Yin continues to be depicted albeit less frequently. The bodhisattva's gender is unproblematic to devotees as Guan Yin will manifest in any form to reach out or to help suffering beings. This statue measures an astounding 29 inches(74cm) tall. There are two impressed seals to the base. Entirely crafted by hand, most probably sometime between the late 18th-20th centuries(possibly earlier) No damage or repairs, the piece is immaculate, but could use a good cleaning. This piece came out of an outstanding estate collection of Chinese antiques, and is of the highest quality we've encountered. Gorgeous. Antique KPM Royal Berlin Blanc de Chine Porcelain Kneeling Angel Figurine. Beautifully sculpted cast of an angel kneeling who is nothing short of heavenly. With intricate details and delicate fingers. This statue exemplifies the finest quality porcelain and artistry that KPM is known for. Bottom mark: underside. Blue scepter under glaze dates to 1820-1870, impressed MDR 1 by scepter, and impressed artist's initials RK on exterior rear base. Excellent condition, free from chips, cracks and repairs. Blanc de Chine Nymphenburg Commedia dell'Arte Mezzetino Figurine Bustelli 1890s
For your consideration. A gorgeous blanc de chine porcelain figurine designed by Rococo master Franz Anton Bustelli for Nymphenburg, circa late 1800s to 1910 Germany. The figurine is Mezzetino, one of the 16 Commedia dell'Arte figurines originally designed by Bustelli for Nymphenburg in 1760. Nymphenburg figurines are some of the finest in the world and are still in production today(even a Mezzetino designed by Vivienne Westwood) The marks on this figurine date it prior to trade laws in the 1920s that required the country name be placed on any imported items to the US. The base of the figurine has the model number and Nymphenburg shield mark. The shield mark is also seen on the side of the figurine, see pictures 4 and 5. The figurine is in decent vintage condition with the only breakage being the end of Mezzetino's club, as seen in ... morepicture 3, which is common for this figurine especially given its age. There are also a few very tiny dark spots on the porcelain's surface. Measures 6.5 inches in height. Overall condition is reflected in the price. Additional photos are available upon request, please message me. Shipping is free within the US and includes insurance and tracking. Due to the value of the figurine, a signature is required for delivery and it cannot be delivered to a PO box.

An attractive 19th century Berlin porcelain figurine of a Shepherdess in period costume, carrying a crook. She has a garland of beautiful flowers over her left shoulder. That run down to her waist and across her back. She is also holding a posy of flowers in her left hand. This beautiful antique porcelain Nymphenburg greyhound was designed by one of the top Nymphenburg designers. Theodor Karner, at the beginning of the last century. The piece is 5 inches high and 10.75 inches long.This piece has been in my family for generations and was originally purchased by my grand-mother in Austria. It's in excellent condition. BLANC DE CHINE HUNTING POINTER MALE DOG FIGURINE POSSIBLY CROWN DRESDEN GERMANY
Description: This auction is for an antique blanc de chine porcelain figurine of a pointing hound dog. The figurine is marked on the bottom in underglazed blue. But the mark is very faint. I believe that it could possibly be Crown Dresden Germany(Wolfsohn) because I can see(with loupe) the three points of a crown, what could be a D under it. There are two lines of letters under that mark, which could be Dresden Germany or Made In Germany. There is also an impressed number of 257. Again, it could be something else, but that is the closest I have come up with, that should date it to 1900 if I am correct. There is a hole on his belly, the figurine weighs approximately 10.6 oz. The figurine measures approximately 3 1/2 inches tall, 6 7/8 inches by 2 inches wide. The figurine is in good condition; no repairs. There are some in the making or firing ... moreissues. There is grit on the bottom of the base rim& some on the top of the base. A rough spot on the right side of his nose, a pitting type spot below his left eye(looks like a chip) a fire crack on the top of his right paw. There is also some scratching around the base, a few other small pitting areas. It is also possible that this could be signed, as it looks like letters on the base behind his back left foot. Anyone with further thoughts on this please share, that would be very much appreciated. HE STANDS 6 1/2 INCHES TALL. NOT SURE HOW WELL THE PICTURE OF THE BASE TURNED OUT BUT IT IS THE FURSTENBERG EARLY"F" AND CROWN. I DO NOT KNOW THE CENTURY THIS WAS MADE. FURSTENBERG BEGAN MAKING THEIR FIGURINES IN THE 18TH CENTURY AROUND 1767. THIS FIGURINE ALSO HAS THE NUMBER 421 INDENTED ON THE UNDERSIDE OF BASE. Large Royal Dux Porcelain Figurine, Woman, Lady, White, Blanc de Chine -STUNNING
This is a gorgeous figurine from Royal Dux. It is in white or blanc de chine porcelain. Pictures cannot do this piece justice. The lady is holding her dress and extending one delicate hand as if to blow a kiss. As with any figurine. The hands are a hallmark of quality and this is one of the best. The fingers are SO delicate and every one of them are perfect! The detailing on this is remarkable. From the bows and lace on the front of her blouse to the faint four rows etched in her hem. Even the back of her is beautiful with her twisting curls and scroll work etched in her back bodice. She is marked with the blue mark that states it is Handpainted. Extremely Rare. KPM Porcelain Rabbits; Circa 1834-37; Horizontal Scepter Mark. This trio represents a very rare collection of some of the finest made porcelain in Europe. The Royal Porcelain Factory(Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktor or KPM) was created in 1763 by Frederick the Great and has been meticulously manufacturing extremely well made pieces for savvy collectors the world over ever since. Their attention to detail is unrivaled. And the care and precision with which they fire these masterpieces, creates an almost glowing milky white glaze. These rabbits seem to belong together, which is why I did not want to sell them seperatly. I don't believe there is another set like this for sale anywhere on the world wide web. The cobalt blue scepter marks on the bottom have a diagonal mark, and all references I have checked seem to point to ... morethe period between 1870 and 1945 for manufacture. Vintage Sitzendorf White Figurine of Man & Woman, Blanc de Chine, Lovers
This is a lovely Sitzendorf figurine. Statue, sculpture of a courting couple of the Georgian or Colonial period. It is solid white or blanc de chine. It does have the facial features highlighted with faint gold. As any collector of fine porcelain figurines knows. Outside of the porcelain itself, the quality of the piece is found in the hands and face. These are exceptional for a piece of this size. The hands, especially of the man, are very articulated and separate- cheaper pieces have the fingers"glued" together. Each finger is perfect, no fingertips missing here. The two figurines of an emperor and the empress(sometimes also described as"the Virgin" Leaning back on their thrones are well known KPM figurines in every detail but I could not spot the hallmark. They are too well crafted to be reproductions but nevertheless, without a defining stamp or inscription it is hard to tell maker. Lovely pair of Italian porcelain peasant ladies are in the grey and white glazed style called"Blanc de Chine" The detailed work is beautiful from the hair and facial expressions to the clothes and baskets of fruit. One senses the motion of a breeze in the billowing skirts. The tallest of the 2 figurines stands 15" at its tallest point and both stand on a 5" diameter domed base. They are numbered on the bottom: 5405 and#8075 and are in pristine condition. Each weighs 3.5 lbs.

For auction today is a rare Nymphenburg Bustelli Porcelain Chine de Blanc"Waiting-Maid" On flat base is a standing servant wearing lace and bow trimmed dress with maid's apron and hood and holding a puppy in her arms. It is an absolutely magnificent work of art. This piece was completely hand-sculpted. The bows and the lace around the dress are thin and delicate. Even the necklace and earrings are very detailed. Approximately 6.5" tall. The only flaws are the tips of her two middle fingers on her left hand. Which are missing. This is really not noticable the way her hand is positioned. Embossed coat of arms brand and model# 60 on bottom. This beautiful piece is extremely rare, made around 1900 and designed by Franz Anton Bustelli, around 1760. Vtg Large Meissen Weifs Weiss Blanc de Chine Max Esser Design Seagull Figurine
This is a nice vintage large Meissen Weifs/ Weiss blanc de chine porcelain Max Esser design seagull/ sea bird in flight figurine on a wood base. In pretty nice shape as the pics show with fine detail& one of the wings tips has had a repair and it comes exactly as shown. I'm unsure of the exact age of the piece because some of the pieces with this mark dates to the Art Deco period all the way up to the mid century with the original Esser design starting I believe in 1937. It measures 16 1/4" tall.
