She is tiny, has molded hair, painted face, jointed arms and legs but her head is on a shoulder plate and does not turn. She has a Victorian dress with a bustle in the back, lots of lace that is showing it's age. She has the tiniest butttons on the front of her dress that I have ever seen. She has underskirts and pantaloons and a pair of black painted shoes that do have some paint loss. I did not find any damage to the bisque doll and normal vintage wear to the clothing. This is a lot of three Victorian Era bisque porcelain figurines of children in sitting positions. Two of them are shelf or edge sitters. These looked great in the above mentioned shadow box because they were at the front of the box instead of resting on the back. It gave a great dimension to the box. The first in the picture is a group of five children sitting close together. They are shelf sitters and their legs dangle ... moreof the edge. There is either a chip or mold mark near the hole on the bottom. It is not visable when the item is being displayed. Next is a little girl dressed in blue and white. She too is a shelf setter who dangles over the edge. She has minor paint loss on the tips of her shoes(they are not chips) Last is a small child wearing a red cap and matching shoes. This one is not an edge sitter. It is the tallest of the three. Standing 1 5/8 inches tall. None of the figurines have any markings.

Figurine shows amazing detail and craftsmanship throughout! Figurine is hand painted and adorned with gold gilt accents! Piece is in excellent original condition with no chips. Antique Porcelain Bisque Figurine of a victorian boy dressed in period clothing. Holding a flower leaning on a fence. Late 19th century- Early 20th century. Actual date is unknown believed to be of German origin. The boy is standing on a porcelain pedestal painted to look like marble. Ornate design painted on his clothing. Bright rosy cheeks, a fence with shrubs. The detailed gold gilt is rubbed off in some places through out the statue and he could could use a bath. I did not clean him. Antique Victorian VOLKSTEDT LADY PUTTI Porcelain Plaque 19c German Bisque Figure This amazing high relief bisque plaque is attributed to Volkstedt German. Circa late 19th century. And features a classical maiden and her resting child. Made as part of a four seasons series. This one appears to be"A utumn" and has the mother and her child resting atop bales of hay. Excellent quality and attention to detail. One of the nicest plaques I have had the pleasure of listing. Approx. measurements of the plaque is 10 3/4" in diameter and approx. 2 1/2" deep. Excellent condition with minor age appropriate wear. The only thing I see that may be wrong, is the piec e she is holding in her hand. Is bit rough on bottom. From the photo of a similar one sold at Christie's(see note below) it looks like she is supposed to be holding a ... moresickle in her hand. It is not something you would not even notice unless you were looking at both plaques at same time. No other chips cracks or repairs. Colors are a bit brighter in photos than they are on actual plaque. Although unmarked. The plaque is definitely of German origin and most likely Volstedt. The pieces are marked on the back with a number which is typical of German manufacturing. There are no chips or cracks and are in very good condition. WELCOME to my ebay store! This is a beautiful and solid little figurine of bisque type porcelain. A little girl in hat. Dress and apron carries a very large basket on her bag which she holds by a rope handle around her neck. She stands on a base that is unmarked. I am guessing it is German made. And probably a spill vase. Some of the pieces from this estate collection I acquired are marked with numbers, or marked Foreign, or not marked at all, as this one. From about the beginning of the 20th century, both the US and UK required more details of origin than'foreign' on imported china items. They wanted the actual country, written in the Queens English(in the US, the act was called the 1890 The McKinley Tariff Bill, and in the UK it was the 1897 British Merchandise Marks Act) So it looks like this piece pre-dates the UK act of 1897 ... morebecause they do not conform to the legislation. It is unmarked. It did come from a UK antiques estate collection of porcelain, see my other listings, they vary a lot in periods of make. Judging by style of the piece and face painting, I am guessing that it, like most of the collection, is German. Other than dirt, I see signs of damage to the figure or the base. This is a lovely pair of German antique figurines. They are approx. 6” tall. They are in excellent condition with the exception of the boys' flute& right thumb. Each figurine has a hole on the side& crackle in the back of the chairs(from original/age) There are a few typical manufacturing flaws from this era such as air bubbles. Dark specks, and glaze flaws. Antique Victorian era mantel shelf spill vase and match holder of bisque porcelain. 11 1/2" tall. 5" across the base and 3" deep at the base. The back is impressed"9986 GERMANY" It is also marked with the DEP mark and a manufacturer's mark that looks like an overlay of G and I or H. This is one of those whimsical pieces that appealed to the Victorian taste- a young boy with a gathering basket looks down to the base of a ladder at an excited little dog. Except for a few accents of metallic gold, the only painted portion is the boy and his basket, the ladder and dog are unpainted matte white. There is a narrow opening on the back of the ladder that could hold spills and the basket would be an ideal place for matches- they would look like gathered wood ... moreand could probably be struck against the textured exterior of the basket. At some point in time, the basket was broken off of the piece and has been glued back in place. From the front side, it looks in perfect condition and is only noticeable if you know where to look. From the back, you will notice the broken line of separation on the boy's back and at the top corner of the basket. The old Rudolstadt makers mark consisting of a blue"R" inside a diamond is present on both pieces. The additional markings on the underside of the boy is"No. 10" and"393" impressed in the porcelain. And a handpainted"23" The girl has an impressed"393" on the front and a"No. 10" on the bottom. The bisque porcelain pair have matching bases. I have up for bid one antique Victorian Bisque Figurine. Boy/Child in Shoe with two birds and 4 eggs. Figurine is BROKEN, selling in"As Is" Condition. Each bird has a broken wing. The little boys head is broken. Someone tried to repair by putting rod inside the neck area. Pinkie on the one finger is broken. Light blue and white with gold gilding, measuring approx. 4 3/4" tall, 5 1/2" across, 3" width. Figurine is very intricate with lots of detail& dust. I will be adding more figurines so please check back. This is a lovely hand painted bisque porcelain figurine of a pretty Victorian girl holding her doll. The young lady had wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. She is very well formed right down to the dimples in her elbows. She is wearing a pink dress and pink shoes. Her doll is wearing a very long light blue gown. and a tan cap. This is a beautiful display. The only damage is a piece of the base had been broken and there is a sliver missing on the side, please enlarge all photos for details. There are also a couple of chips to base but not very noticeable. She is heavy for her size and measures almost 11" high. The only marking is a hand painted mark that may be 55. This is an early French bisque statue of a beautiful woman in the garden with a swallow. It was created by the Vion& Baury factory of France circa 1860-70. She is a large and heavy weighted piece at 21 inches to the top of her extended arm. The detailing is exquisite and she has a beautiful realistically painted face. She displays very well however has suffered a broken finger. The swallow was repaired and I think part of that finger on the hand holding the swallow. I also believe there were three birds at one time on her dress that are now missing. The tiara in her hair has some wear. Victorian German Porcelain Bisque Heubach Man Lady Piano baby Antique Figurine
This is a wonderful rare pair of bisque figures created by the Gerbruder Heubach factory of Germany c1890-1910. They are at the sea. The boy has a fish and the girl is carrying her shoes as she stands at the oceans edge. They measure approximately 11 inches high and are both marked with the sunrise marking. The girl is in excellent condition. Just three tiny nibbles on the bottom edge of her base. The boy has had his head professionally restored at the neck. It was a good job and so it is hard to notice on display. A few small nibbles at the very rim of his base and I see a tiny bit of paint on his pinky finger. As you can see. Impressed with numbers on the back base which is typical of early period German porcelainware. Whole grouping figurine measures 8" high by 3 1/4" wide by 2 1/4" deep. Condition: Fine condition. Upon closer inspection with a high powered magnifier I discovered behind her head on the Pillar there is a 1/4" to 1/2" surface line with dark residue in the line. ANTIQUE PAIR BISQUE ROYAL RUDOLSTADT PORCELAIN FIGURINES TALL VICTORIAN BOY GIRL
A Beautiful Pair of Large Antique Royal Rudolstadt Victorian Bisque Figurines! T his pair of antique Royal Rudolstadt figurines is very special and rare. They are beautifully dressed in Victorian type attire and seem to be leaning next to a fence. Possibly near water. These were made by RW Rudolstadt in Germany sometime between 1904 and 1924. Per the mark on the bottom of the base. The base bears the RW inside a crown with"Germany" above and"Rudolstadt" below the crown. Both figurines are imprinted with a"21" above a"455" as well as a written"38. Both figurines are made of bisque ceramic pottery and are very large- the girl stands a 15.5"h and the boy is 15"h! Each base is approximately 6.5"w. Both pieces are hand-painted and accented with gold gilding. The girl figurine is in great ... morecondition. There is some minor loss to parts of the gold gilding and a speck of paint missing on the base; however, the boy needs a bit of repair done. The boy figurine is missing the tip of his pointer finger and on his other arm, his wrist is still attached well, but there is a crack along the wrist(please see photos) However, both of these parts could be repaired. The boy also has slight loss to gold gilding as well, due to age. Antique French Porcelain Bisque Lady Victorian Sevres Figurine Doll Bohemian
This is a beautiful finely hand painted porcelain bisque French or Bohemian figure of a lovely young lady getting ready to dip her feet in the water. It is a heavy weighted large piece at almost 11 inches high by 7 1/4 inches in diameter at the base. The overall condition is excellent. I just see one very small flake chip to the back of one of the green pieces of ribbon coming off her hat. It dates mid to late 1800s and the bottom is marked with impressed numbers and the letter N.
