This fantastic, very large figural depicts two beautiful women riding in the back of a chariot with another woman sitting in the front behind two winged griffins that are pulling the chariot. This spectacular piece has outstanding modeling, exquisite detail, gorgeous porcelain applied flowers, fabulous handpainted florals, and two wheels that are hinged and actually work! It measures a huge 19" from front to back and is 14 1/2" tall! It is in overall excellent condition with just a few minor chips: the seated woman has the thumb chipped off her right hand. The maiden wearing the hat has the tip chipped off of the scarf coming off the back of the hat, there are a few flowers with minor nicks, and there is some minor gold/age wear. Description Up for your consideration is this. Antique SITZENDORF? ANGEL Cherub. CUPID Roses Shabby& Chic MIRROR FINE and INTRICATELY MODELED CHERUB MOUNTED MIRROR. This is a gorgeous and very charming antique German porcelain mirror accented with two darling cherubs swathed in pink and blue ribbons of fabric. They are perched atop a colorfully painted oval mirror holding a garland of tiny sweet flowers. The piece is then finished of with lovely gold gilt highlights. It does have a sitzendorf looking mark on the top edge. But I am not an expert on this so please see photos and judge for yourself. The overall condition is good. The actual porcelain has no chips. Cracks or repairs. There is some wear to the paint and gold highlights. This is a Beautiful Dresden Lace Victorian Lady Figurine by Sitzendorf which was manufactured in Germany. Her skirt is accented with porcelain roses. Marked on the base with the Sitzendorf Crown and S. Approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide at her widest point. This figurine is in very good used condition with lace loss to her skirt and the bottom of her skirt. She also has a few dots of discoloration on her skirt. A lovers quarrel ... moredepicted at the time as if it were today and things havent changed in the world of courtship. Love never changes. Complex yet beautiful. If you carefully examine this composition you will see that the elegantly stern female has let the love letter of forgiveness gently fall to the ground. The gentleman's expression is that of desperation and bewilderment. His posture and the swaying of the hand. It almost brings a certain sentiment in one. Yet the ensemble is so gracefully hand executed that one knows these two are soul mates as this figural is in incredible condition for its age. The lace work is about 97% intact( I have taken several close photographs for your observation) The lacework which is thin actual cloth that was dipped in porcelain and baked was an invention from Dresden that spread throughout Germany. It is all hand painted and accented with real 22 K gold paint. Large and heavy. Measures 12" long x 9" deep and 10" tall. This item will require extra materials for safe delivery. Logo on the bottom. They are in overall good condition. With some damage to mention. Looks as though one stick on each holder has been off and reattached. One of the wax drip parts has a chip on one of the candle sticks, and there is a chip off the base of the figure with man on the back side. Dancing feminine angel candlestick description. Beautifully hand painted with gold. Green, pink, purple, and yellow colors. Colors still vibrant on this unique flowered vined tree. 90% of the gold paint is still present! Many of the flowers have chips. 5 petals missing from under the cups. Center cup is cracked. So much detail still in place. You can see the exquisite detail and coloring of the angels hands, her hair, the red coloring in her lips. So much detail in the flowers and trees. It's gorgeous. A masterpiece. Candlestick number two, violin angel boy description. Also beautifully hand painted with gold, green, pink, yellow, brown, and black colors. Colors are vibrant with this one also containing 90% of the gold! Many flowers are chipped with 1petal missing underneath the center cup. All cups are perfect. Boy missing arm and violin ... morebow. So much detail still present, so much coloring in the boys face, on the vined tree.the flowers are gorgeous. There are so many flowers! More than most pieces! Ebay Listing Page RARE Large 20" Antique Sitzendorf Porcelain Maiden& Lamb Figurine Item Description: Up for auction is a stunning antique porcelain grand scale porcelain figurine manufactured in Sitzendorf. Thuringia, Germany between 1887-1900. The figurine was manufactured by the highly collectible Sitzendorfer Porcelain Works and it features a young maiden with a lamb seated at her foot. The figurine is very intricate with separated fingers, raised flowers and ruffles, and texture work on the lamb's fleece and the branches of the tree. The skirt is decorated with hand-painted flowers and the base is adorned with gold accents. The underside of the figurine is marked with the Sitzendorf mark in cobalt blue. Overall the figurine stands about 19 1/2" tall. This is about as nice as they come! I do have the matching figurine ... morethat accompanies this one, which is a boy with a dog. If interested, please let me know. Item Condition: The overall condition of the figurine is excellent. I have surveyed every detail on this piece down to each flower petal. Leaf, finger, piece of lace, etc. I have found no chips, cracks, flakes, or repairs. It is quite difficult to find a piece with this much intricate work that has absolutely no flaws. The white porcelain is still quite bright, but it could use a good cleaning. It is slightly dirty in some areas, especially some of the crevases where dust tends to collect and settle over many years. I see no crazing to the glaze, and it is bright and glossy. The base has standard rubbing and dirt from years of use and display, and the trademark is easy to read. This would make an excellent display piece or be a fine addition to someone's collection! Antique Dresden German Sitzendorf Voight Bros.Porcelain Figurine/Latticed Bowl
From my personal collection of 30 ++ years. This is one of my most outstanding and exquisite antique porcelain treasures. It comes with a 2" black wood stand that has felt underneath. Porcelain itself stands approx 15 3/4 inches high with a 10 1/2 inch diameter around the bowl. Figurines measure approx 8" high. Total porcelain measures 17 1/2" sitting on base. Upon very close examination, 2 things I noticed: 1) The woman figurine has a tiny chip off her right index finger and right pinky. 2) 1 pink and 1 yellow flower have 2 small chipped pedals off the flowers. See photos on both) Otherwise, the rest of this porcelain is amazingly in excellent condition, especially considerating it's age. As most of my other antique porcelains, I purchased this in the 1980's from an older couple who had an antique store and specialized ... morein fine porcelain. Unfortunally, I am no expert on porcelain. I bought this because I loved it and over the course of 35 years, I have kept the orginal tags attached to the bottom. Very finely hand painted, with lovely details throughout. They both have an impressed number"2039" on the undersides, and the gentleman has a blue Sitzendorf maker's mark. Each stands at about 11 inches, the lady being just a bit taller. The gentleman weighs a little over 2 lbs. the lady weighs about 2 lbs. and 14 oz. Good Antique Condition: There are a few chips to the small flowers on the bases and a damage to a ribbon on the gentleman figure's leg. There is also a small. A very rare piece of Conta here. I believe I purchased this one from the authors of the Conta& Boehme book. Janice and Jim Vogel. The figural stands just shy of 7 1/2 inches in height. It's truly a show stopper, between the Puss in Boots, and his dressed sidekick monkey. His thick tail is amazing, winding down between his boots. For condition, first off, it's in need of a good bath. There is chipping to the applied florals at the front. Kitty's hat has a good chip at the left, that's painted to match. A small chip from the base as well. There was originally a metal something that stuck down in his hand, I pictured the hole it would have been stuck. Not of notice when displayed. The Figurine is of a lady sitting and playing the piano while another lady and gentlemen dance beside of her. On the bottom it says Germany. And has a crown with an S underneath it, which is from Sitzendorf Germany. I'm pretty sure that these have been faked before but I am certain that this is the real deal. It was brought back from Germany with my family. The figurines are dressed in very high end clothing, European clearly. Exquisite artwork, truly. As I said previously the arm of the woman dancing has been broken off but is with the figurine still, it could very easily be repaired. I think the most important thing is that these are not going to come up for auction very often and the piece being broken is such a small part of the artwork that it can be looked past. I would have put the arm back on myself but I didn't want there ... moreto be any mistake in the description or the representation. This is a very rare, very beautiful and big statue by Dresden in Sitzendorf Germany pre 1940. It is 8 inches by 4 inches by 7 inches tall. I could not find another figurine exactly like this one anywhere online, I'm not saying they aren't out there, but very hard to find and who knows when another will come available. It amazes me that someone can make the kind of detail that is in the lace on these dresses out of porcelain, how gifted. Everything but the arm looks great still, you will love this piece.

An antique. Circa 1890, Sitzendorf German porcelain wall mirror frame in the manner of Meissen. It has two applied cherubs that flank a hand painrted portrait of French Queen Marie Antoinette. The rest of frame has applied various flowers and leaves, lappets with figural birds, a bands of beads. It measures 22" tall by 16-1/2" wide by 3" deep. The mirror sight measures 11" by 13-1/2" Good plus condition: nicely hand enamel painted flowers and figures, beads, the portrait fine. Most of the arm is lost of one cherub and a flower glued on the stump of the arm. Usual losses to some petals or leaves here or there. Cracks to the frame: restorations and glued back together onto the wood backing board. The mirror glass is without damage or backing spots. The crest on reverse has the crosshatch mark of the maker: Sitzendorf.

This auction is for a Sitzendorf Pierrette Harlequin Pin Dish. Made of porcelain. Sometimes they are considered to be pipe rests. Powder puff or trinket dishes, regardless this is the p erfect vintage vanity accessory! I have been unable to find another in this color. Some blue or yellow, but none in this orangish-brown color with black accents. It has art deco styling. It has the manufacturer's incised Sitzendorf crown on the bottom with the number 24406, and a vent hole at the back of her hair. It measures approx. 4-3/4” long x 3-1/8" across, depth is shallow(about 1/2” It is 2-1/2” high at her hat and 1-3/4” high at her knees. A beautiful vintage piece. Wonderful for your collection! Just look at her lovely facial features! Condition- There are some manufacturing defects- one at her right shoulder sleeve(see pic) and on one of ... morethe“legs” of her bell costume. Please based on your knowledge and pics. I believe this is Sitzendorf. Figure stands approx. 5.75 inches tall. I will not try to clean this figure and it has a little sticky residue on the bottom. There is a spot on the thumb which appears to be glazed. It possibly could be manufacturing but I have no way of knowing and under 10x I could find no other faults other than average paint wear. With all that being said. Please understand this is not a mint out of the box item. It is old and probably shows average wear. We are selling this item as is with no returns unless I have really missed something. If there is any interest, I wll probably be listing other Sitzendorf figures. Antique German Porcelain Dresden SITZENDORF Carriage Figurine Figure Centerpiece
This is a magnificent large porcelain carriage created by the Sitzendorf factory of Germany! It is a stunning piece at 20 inches in length by 11 inches in height and very heavy weighted! Overall condition is excellent/very good considering the size and age of the piece. The crown on the front base has broken off and the reins need to be retied to the driver. Should be very easy as they are flexible. One piece of the pink feather in front of one horse's plume and a few tiny nibbles to the leaves on the base. All very minor in my opinion on display. Antique Porcelain Mirror with Bird Figurines by Sitzendorf Thuringia circa 1890 DESCRIPTION: A German porcelain wall mirror made by the Sitzendorf factory. The scrolled frame of the mirror is exuberantly encrusted with an array of flowers and birds. The mirror is bordered in little delicate flowers decorating it with rich and delicately figurative birds that adorn the mirror. The hand painted flowers are sculpted in fine detail. This is an example of the highly decorated porcelain of this period and this one is unique as it is in the form a mirror with the delicate petal flowers along the side. The entire mirror is encrusted with the tiny florals. Leaves, and vines. The mirror marked on the bottom with the very faded blue hatch mark that links it to the Sitzendorf Company a rival to Meissen. These Bird figurines are with graceful wings. The ... morebirds are very lifelike. And beautifully modeled. The birds have nicely shaped bodies, multi-colored wings and tails, hoods, expressive eyes. SIZE: APPROXIMATELY 16 INCHES TALL BY 8 INCHES WIDE- The Mirror is marked on the bottom attributed to the Sitzendorf Company a rival to Meissen. MAKER: Blue hatch mark- with incised numbers- This double crossed lines mark has been attributed to Sitzendorf of Thuringia- Sitzendorf porcelain marks seem to appear in two main styles: a stylized"S" beneath a crown.more recent pieces) and a double slash- cross slash mark. ANTIQUE 19c VICTORIAN SITZENDORF OLD DRESDEN GERMAN PORCELAIN CERAMIC CANDELABRA
For your consideration: unbelievably rare and amazingly beautiful candelabra. Made by Sitzendorf( Germany) during their early period(1850-1890) This giant and extremely heavy piece stands 21 inches tall. 13& 1/2" at the top widest part, and 6& 1/2" at the bottom of base. The detail of the eyes, hair, finger and toe nails and floral decorations is strikingly sharp and can be compared only to museum rococo pieces. The decorations are done in a very soft pastel colors with a delicate touch of an artist. The c ondition of the piece. Considering it's age. Is very good. There are some minor losses to the leaves and flowers. Which overall very hard to notice. There is a stress line in the base(see pic. 4 and#10) produced during the actual manufacturing of the piece. This occurred because the lower temperature of the bake means ... moresharper detail. That's why this kind of early pieces have more under bake stress lines, than the regular ones.
