The New York Stoneware Co and the number 4 is impressed. The flower ... moredesign is a very dark cobalt blue. Each side has an applied elephant ear handle. Circa: 1859- 1885. Fort Edward. NY) Measurements: 11 1/4" tall. 11 1/2" in diameter at the top. Base 11" in diameter. Floral decoration is about 5" wide X 6" tall. The blue floral decoration has dots and circles. Condition: This crock is being sold AS IS. This is a solid crock but it has issues. Large Blue decoration has excellent dark cobalt blue color but has a chip at the top branch. Shown in picture 2. There is a large chip at the rim above the ear handle, picture 8. The same ear handle has a chip underneath the handle, shown in the same picture. On the outside, there is a spider hairline that starts on the bottom and runs up the side, see close-up picture in picture 5, 10& 11. I would not trust this crock to hold water. There is one small chip in the dark brown glaze on the inside, last picture. Picture 5 shows a raised dark spot on the outside which appears to be from the manufacturing process. See all pictures. The large blue flower decoration has excellent dark cobalt blue color. This collectible crock is great to use in a decorative decor. Please check out my other auctions for more vintage items.

The antiques dealer, who specializes in antique English pottery, said that the cat is a rare Scottish pottery cat from 1880. He said that he has never seen another cat this large. The cat measures approximately 14" tall(to tip of ears) and 8" in length at the base. It is a heavy piece. There are remains of gilt on the cat's collar and fur. The cat is in excellent condition. Offered for auction today is this rare antique hand painted Spanish majolica charger ceramic bowl. I beleive this may be called talavera pottery. It looks as if it may have a tin gaze as well. The piece was found in an estate over 20 years ago and has been stored away. The width is 15 1/4" and the height is 2 3/4" I believe it may be a tin glaze. As you can see there is a hand painted Granada shield. The rim is all shaped like a pie crust and hand painted as well. The condition is quite amazing. There is only one small chip on the rim that I can definitely say is a chip other than a few on the base where the piece sits. The others were glaze/paint misses. Please excuse the light reflections. 1930s Coors Pottery Very Rare Antique Clown Bank Advertising for Empire Savings
This is an original ceramic Clown Coin Bank from the 1930s made by Coors Pottery of Denver Colorado. It was an advertising piece for Empire Savings and Loan of Denver Colorado. The back is marked"Empire Savings. Denver Colorado" and"Coors, Denver Colorado" It is a wall hanging bank and it measures 4 1/2" x 3" wide. This rare piece is valued at $150 in the book"Encyclopedia of Colorado Pottery" by Carol and Jim Carlton in 1994. It is one of the rarest pieces made by Coors Pottery. It is in excellent condition. The only exception being a manufacturing defect on the bottom right corner of the bow-tie. This is shown in the last photo. Antique Ceramic Pottery Bunny Rabbit Figure Figurine. China, America, England ?
I bought this one last weekend at a local rummage sale here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am not an expert on ceramic figures but am confident that this is an old one. How old and from where? I honestly have no idea. The bunny is about 7.5 inches tall. 10 inches long and 5.5 inches wide. It's quite heavy and weighs a little over 4 lbs. There is a moulding seam that runs exactly through the middle. Except for the mouth, where it verges of slightly to the left. There is some overall crazing here and there(like on the inside the ears. On top of the head and under the belly) There are two very small chips, both on a toe: the first one at its front left paw, the other at the paw behind it(see last two pictures for a close-up) Both chips are near the bottom and very obscure; you only can really spot them when you pick the piece up and hold ... moreit at an angle or upside down. Otherwise I couldn't find anything wrong with this piece of pottery. The bottom has a small vent hole on the bottom. But no marks. A most charming antique. Circa 1880, French barbotine pottery calling card stand. The body is modeled as a narrow nautilus shell, the sea theme advanced by the underglaze painting of fishing boats. A sprig of pink flowers and green leaves has fallen on the shell. Four colorful sparrow gave alighted on top. It measures 5" tall by 16" wide by 8-1/2" deep. Fair condition: chips and losses to three birds, one wing broken and glued back. Repair to the tail of the shell, loss to an edge on the front. Crack from the front edge to the edge of the water on the right. Nicks to leaves or petals here or there.

The bear measures a bit over 5 inches tall and a bit over 6 1/2 inches long. The glaze has a matte finish and the colors of the bear are of a very deep green with part of a lighter color, The bear is unsigned, I have spent hours trying to find in on books and online and cannot find anything similar available.
