Antique 19th Century MEISSEN- Je les Ramene" Porcelain Cupid Motto Figure Figurine Antique German Meissen“Je les Ramene” cupid motto figure. The heavy porcelain figurine of a cupid or putto is surrounded by and holding flowers with a quiver full of arrows. The fine hand-painted porcelain figurine has a raised oval plaque on the front with the French words“Je les Ramene” written in script. The figure is signed on the underside with the blue under-glaze crossed swords Meissen mark. The number 11 in red glaze and an impressed“F12” and“48” The Meissen figure has tiny chips to a few of the flowers and an approximate ½” crack on the pedestal that is holding flowers. The original garland that the cupid is holding is broken in several parts and only two pieces of it remain as seen in the photos below. Rare smaller Meissen Porcelain Figure.M 104 91"Love Bound" A LOVELY MEISSEN CUPID PUTTO TIED UP. This"Love Bound" German figurine depicting the god Cupid dates from the 19TH CENTURY. Cupid is the god of desire. Erotic love, attraction, and affection. As you can see by viewing the pictures. Our poor little putto sits on a on circular grassy pedestal. The perimeter of Cupid's pedestal is painted in beautiful hues of blues and pinks and accented with gold draping and a sea shell design. This little angel and mighty cherub is sans clothing with only a pink/mauve cloth covering him. His hands and small purple and white angel's wings are tied behind his back. His facial expression show discomfort at being put into such a helpless position. His hair is wavy and detailed. They don't make porcelain figures and figurines ... morelike this any more! Very good condition- no cracks. One of the cherub's hand shows signs of previous repair. The top of one of his feet is chipped as is common for these 19th century Meissen antiques. I did my research and apparently. Dealers are confused too! I've seen it listed under three different manufacturers. Ebay won't allow me to list the three different possibilities, but I do strongly believe it to be Meissen because of the blue crossed swords. Please look closely at the photographs and decide for yourself. I certainly welcome expert opinions too! No matter the manufacturer, everyone titles it"The Five Senses" So that aside, this porcelain figurine is in great shape for it's age. There are five putti figures, each one symbolizing one of the five senses. The top is a putti is holding a glass of wine(taste) Below are four more puttis; ... moreone is holding a bee or wasp(touch) one is holding a mirror(sight) one is holding a conch shell(sound) and one is holding a rose(smell) Definitely made by a top notch manufacturer. One tell is that each finger and toe is individually sculpted and painted. Detail only reserved for the high end market. Surprisingly, all fingers and toes are intact, no breaks, chips or repairs. The only flaw I can find is on the very top of the putti holding the wine goblet is a small chip off a leaf. Hand painted in beautiful soft colors with gilt accents. The condition is very good, a few minor flaws to mention. The tip of his staff is chipped off, tip of one finger off cherub, and small flaw to tip of roosters tail. No other damage, and display is excellent! The measurement is 8 1/2" tall by 7" across! The piece is unmarked, which you sometimes find with the very early pieces, it could have rubbed off or the manufacturer just forgot to put the stamp. He is in excellent displayable condition, although he has an old and slightly discolored repair to his right arm as photographed. She has been attached at the waist and her ribbons in back are broken and partially repainted as is the tail of the cat. The spoon in her hand is broken and the base is partially broken and repaired. This is a rare early hand painted porcelain figural grouping of two lovers in a garden with a cherub flying over them. A bust in the background and a dog and two lambs. It bears a very faint blue crossed swords mark on the base. I believe this is an early Meissen piece, please take a look at the pictures. Measures 9 3/4 inches high by 7 inches wide and is heavy weighted. Condition is overall good. There is some damage and restoration. The cherubs one arm has been reattached at the shoulder and he has a repaired bell the little stick to hit in in his other hand is broken. Rare Antique Meissen MINIATURE Porcelain Gent 4" Figurine Art Nouveau Germany
This is a rare Meissen Miniature figurine of a young Gentleman with a walking stick made in Germany. He has a tri point hat. Fancy clothes and flower detail. This is a very old statue made in the 1800s. He has gold gilt decoration and is beautifully painted. He stands 4" tall and 1 1/4" wide. He has the Meissen crossed swords mark on the bottom and I believe incised# 38 and a tiny M. He has a repair to his walking stick. He seems to be in otherwise good condition. Questions are welcome. This is a gorgeous Dresden lace figure of two sisters in beautiful gowns that was created by the Volkstedt factory of Germany! This piece is in overall excellent condition! I usually see this model with much lace missing or broken fingers. This piece has no damage to fingers. Arms, ect and the lace is in overall excellent condition, there is a little chipping to the lace, on the trim to bodices on top, very little chipped lace on the bottom of the gowns. This is a stunning large antique parian porcelain bust created by Sevres of France in the 19th century. She is very finely modeled and in overall excellent condition. This is a beautiful finely hand painted Meissen porcelain figure of a lovely goddess. I cannot see the blue Meissen crossed swords mark because it may have been worn off. But this is definitely a Meissen piece, and I believe an early one. She is approximately 6 1/2 inches high and displays beautiful. The only flaws I can see are I think both hands have had professional restoration, possibly down the arm on the one in the air. The other looks like only a few fingers. Very well done restoration if so. I see a tiny chip on the underside of her lavender cape in the back, barely noticeable. It's a very unique figurine made to hang on a wall that was surrounded by a all kinds of figurines from Royal Worcester.Daulton and Windsor,Dresden and Meissen and almost every Hummel ever made.It's in a antique frame that's probably older than the figurine.There's no way to get the plaque off without taking a chance on breaking it.I would like to find a makers mark and believe me I've tried.That's why the starting price is were it's at.The plaque is attached to a silk like material then to a board that has a weird loop and nail assembly that attaches it to the frame.I can't find anything quite like it that's both a figurine and wall plaque of this quality.I think it's French porcelain and looks like something Jacob Petit could have done but it's not as ornate as most of his pieces and I think it's ... moreto old to be his.My best guess would be Sevres but it has the same quality you would see from any quality manufacture.The figurine is in excellent condition without any chips or cracks.The gold is worn on the shoes and a couple other places.This frame is really old and has some hairline cracks I've pictured.It measures 17" x 14" and is similar to the frames of the George 111 era.

And a loss to the tip of the bow on the back of her dress- the pen is pointing to this, and neither are noticeable when the figurine is on display.
