~ Antique German Figurine ~ This is a very lovely handpainted German porcelain figure with fine modeling. Superb coloring, and exquisite porcelain applied flowers. A beautiful maiden sits atop two decorative tasseled pillows, and she is helping Cupid as he is struggling to climb up next to her. Cupid's bow and arrows are on the ground at their feet, and the woman holds one golden arrow in her hand. The figure is a nice large size measuring 8 1/2" tall by 7" wide. And it is in excellent condition aside from arrow has tip chip and a few tiny nicks to flower petals/leaves, very minor. Featured for Auction we have an Antique/ Vintage bisque figurine of a cherub on the side of a dragon headed sleigh. Wonderful coloring. Probably hand painted in pastel colors, with raised enamel. At least we believe this is bisque it may be porcelain. The little cherub is just adorable with his wavy hair, blue eyes, pink wings, and his arrow on his side. It measures about 8 1/2" long by 5" wide and 6" tall. We believe it is German in Origin, but are not certain as there are No Markings. It is in wonderful condition, with minor chipping on the flowers. Also we don't know if the dragons nose is supposed to blunt as it is or if it was pointy originally and broken off and repainted, as it is hard to tell. If you look at the fifth picture, that yellowish spot looks to be a something goopy and mostly came off, you could probably ... moreclean it up even better, its not bad, but wanted to mention it. Rare smaller Meissen Porcelain Figure.M 104 91"Love Bound" A LOVELY MEISSEN CUPID PUTTO TIED UP. This"Love Bound" German figurine depicting the god Cupid dates from the 19TH CENTURY. Cupid is the god of desire. Erotic love, attraction, and affection. As you can see by viewing the pictures. Our poor little putto sits on a on circular grassy pedestal. The perimeter of Cupid's pedestal is painted in beautiful hues of blues and pinks and accented with gold draping and a sea shell design. This little angel and mighty cherub is sans clothing with only a pink/mauve cloth covering him. His hands and small purple and white angel's wings are tied behind his back. His facial expression show discomfort at being put into such a helpless position. His hair is wavy and detailed. They don't make porcelain figures and figurines ... morelike this any more! Very good condition- no cracks. One of the cherub's hand shows signs of previous repair. The top of one of his feet is chipped as is common for these 19th century Meissen antiques. Underneath are the clear marks used between 1875 and 1900- The Meissen crossed swords in underglaze blue. First quality. Incised M 104 and small 91 impressed in the base. Description Up for your consideration is this. Antique SITZENDORF? ANGEL Cherub. CUPID Roses Shabby& Chic MIRROR FINE and INTRICATELY MODELED CHERUB MOUNTED MIRROR. This is a gorgeous and very charming antique German porcelain mirror accented with two darling cherubs swathed in pink and blue ribbons of fabric. They are perched atop a colorfully painted oval mirror holding a garland of tiny sweet flowers. The piece is then finished of with lovely gold gilt highlights. It does have a sitzendorf looking mark on the top edge. But I am not an expert on this so please see photos and judge for yourself. The overall condition is good. The actual porcelain has no chips. Cracks or repairs. There is some wear to the paint and gold highlights. Antique Vintage German Bisque Doll or Girl figurine Planter with Cherub or Angel
You are bidding on one vintage bisque figurine made in Germany. This is a nice size piece. To me it looks like paradise. This is a very whimsicle piece. It measures approx 8 1/4 inches tall. Across the bottom 7 1/2 inches long by 4 1/2 inches wide. Measured across the front approx 8 inches long. This item is marked. It appears to be a G Dep and a number 8712 etched in the bottom. This is of a girl with a cherub or angel looking into a planter of some sought. On the bottom are two ducks drinking water from a water fall. Very nice piece. There are a few small chips. Around the top vase type part at the tips. I see three of the tips have small chips. On the cherub or boy his hand has two chips one on the inside and one on the outside. His purple wrap also has a small chip on the front and a larger chip on the side of it. I see a little chip ... morealso on one of the pieces of wood along the bottom basket. All chips are small. I used a magnifying glass to find most of them. There is some gold paint wear on the bottom of the girls skirt and other places. I am not sure what the makers marks for these type of items are, so I can not tell you who made them. I will however try to capture them in a picture for you to see. I was told this was German bisque, but again, I have no way of knowing for sure. This is an adorable item. Please see all pictures. I wish I could add more than twelve pictures for some of these pieces. This is an estate sale find, actually the bisque items came from a place that attends auctions and also purchases entire estates. I am not an expert. I will describe items to the best of my ability and tell you what I see. Because I am not perfect it is possible for me to miss something that is important to an expert. If I did not mention any other issues, I do not see any other issues. All of the pieces seem a bit dusty and could use to be wiped down with a damp cloth. Antique porcelain Cherub with flower basket. Very nicely made. Nicely painted with rosy blush and nicely sculpted with details such as knee dimples and inner thigh creases, beautiful face. Has a higher glaze than is showing in the photos. As is, see photo. Unsure exactly how many of the molded flowers are actually intact due to age, but at least half are. Fingers are perfect, as are toes. Still a beautiful cherub antique German porcelain collectible.

RARE Antique 1757 CHELSEA 5 3/4" Putti Cherub Figurine PROVENANCE
This auction is for a Rare Antique Chelsea Putti Figurine circa 1750. The figurine measures approximately 5 3/4 inches high. The figurine is marked on the bottom with collection stickers- it has two generations of collection stickers- the most recent collection was the MacHarg Collection and the one previous was the Ex Luccock Collection dated 28/1/43. The figurine has suffered some damage over the years- it has damage to two of the birds in the nest and a crack in part way through the nest plus some minor chips to the leaves and flowers- please see close-up photos. The figurine exhibits three dirty looking circles on its base- for those possibly not as familiar with the early Chelsea figurines. This auction is for a Rare Antique 18th Century Putti Figurine circa 1750- 1800. The figurine measures approximately 5 3/4 inches high. The figurine is marked on the bottom with collection stickers- it has two generations of collection stickers- the most recent collection was the MacHarg Collection and the one previous was the Ex Luccock Collection dated 28/1/43. The figurine has suffered some damage over the years- it has damage to two of the birds in the nest and a crack in part way through the nest plus some minor chips to the leaves and flowers- please see close-up photos. The figurine exhibits three dirty looking circles on its base- for those possibly not as familiar with the early figurines. Antique Scheibe-Alsbach A. Kister Porcelain Cherub vases mark from late 1880s
These beautiful German statuettes were made in Scheibe-Alsbach in the A. Kister period. They are from the late 1800's. They are truly beautiful and you will not tire of looking at them. They are cherubs with vases on a pedestal. I do not know if they were originally meant to be vases or planters but either use would be a beautiful display. One of the figures is holding a bunch of grapes and the other a wine glass. This is Art Nouveau at it's best. The form of the plump cherubs and the grapes and leaves. And even the shape of the vases themselves are natural and from the Nouveau period. The bottoms are stamped KPM and feature the X beneath these letters. This mark was used for a short period beginning in 1887.There are the numbers 1301 and 9 indented on the bottom as well, perhaps where they were to inventory them at one point or to ... moreidentify them in some fashion at the point of manufacture. This set is 108 to 126 years old and in mint condition. The cherubs are 10 1/4" H. 6 3/4" W, and on a 4" base excluding legs. This set will be shipped FedEx insured at the purchase price or more. This auction is for a pair of beautifully hand painted cherubs playing musical instruments. One of the figurines is marked on the inside of the base and the other one is not. However based on the quality. Design and colors these figurines are definitely made by the same manufacturer and most likely a part of the same group of figurines. According to our research these figurines were manufactured by Ceramica in Italy. They are very detailed and high quality. The figurines measure approximately 7.25" and 6.75" tall and are about 3.25" in diameter at the bottom of the base. One cherub has a chip to his musical instrument otherwise is in excellent condition.
