CONDITION This is in excellent structural condition and looks fine as it is after applying wood oil but it really needs to be refinished to look truly great again. With leaves down it measures just 40"x 24" And with the leaves up it measures 40"x 54" With the three 12" leaves in place in extends to 90" in length. The original 4 piece protective pad that I have does not allow for the extra center leaves. This table has only a couple of very minor flaws: a couple of watermarks on the top. And a couple of minor abrasions to the legs at chair seat height. These are just flaws in the finish only-there are no scratches, gouges, chips, cracks or repairs to this original condition, elegant piece. The 2 original leveling feet for the center support are missing. Once again lighting and photographing this piece presented a bit of a challenge for me. Very nice example, please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

It is age and use appropriate wear, no substantial or notable damage. The black lacquer has some wear most notably to the edges, as well as some scuffs and scratches. I have tried to up the contrast on a photo of the top so you may see that there are minor blemishes to this original finish. However there are a number of flaws here and there, including: a) one chair has a split that has been repaired on the back rail. Another chair has some gouges to the back and another to the bottom of the leg. b) the cane on the chairs is intact with a few minor breaks to the weave of the cane in a couple places. there is also a noticeable loss to the finish of the cane in places. c) all of the upholstery on the chairs is stained and should be replaced. d) the table has losses to the veneer on the edges and some minor splits in the wood on the legs. the table is photographed without the center leg structure in place(which is pictured separately) this center leg structure has one warped leg(please see picture) e) the two table leaves have discoloration to their surfaces and losses to their veneer. f) all of the chairs and the table have additional minor scuffs and scratches and dings. overall the dining set could use professional refinishing and/or cleaning. this dining set is sold AS-IS with no reserve! please ask first if you have any questions- I would be happy to provide more pictures of any details if you like- jus

Up for your consideration is this gorgeous Paul Mccobb Planner Group rare size gaming/dining table. This table features the original black lacquer finish and is in excellent structural condition. There is an over all patina of wear that should be expected with a table this old. It is age and use appropriate wear, no substantial or notable damage. The black lacquer has some wear most notably to the edges, as well as some scuffs and scratches. I have tried to up the contrast on a photo of the top so you may see that there are minor blemishes to this original finish. A Planner Group Paul McCobb Bench/Coffee Table in Rare Pale Beige Factory Paint
Offered with no reserve beyond the opening bid. This Paul McCobb Planner Group coffee table/bench is in wonderful condition. With its original painted factory finish, the piece shows minimal wear. There is a tiny split at one of the edges(about 1.75" see photo above) which is not particularly noticeable. According to Jonathan Goldstein's excellent and carefully researched Paul McCobb blog. In 1963 thirty-six lacquered colors were made available. This table has a beautiful pale beige lacquered finish, which brings to mind the pale blonde finishes of early McCobb pieces. Measuring 48" long, 18.25" wide and 15" tall, the table bears no mark or label. Table will be shipped via UPS Ground. Happy to accommodate local pick-up.

This is a great piece designed by Kipp Stuart and Stuart MacDougall for the 1959 American Design Federation collection sold by Winchendon. This piece was made in 1959 in the same factory as the Paul McCobb Planner Group Series. It was obviously mislabeled. As seen in pic number#11 it retains that tag. In pic#12 is an advertisement from Bloomingdale's in NY that shows the piece and lists the designers( thanks to Jonathan Goldstein for the inside Paul McCobb knowledge) This is in great condition with no discernible issues. All of the 16 rods/dowels are in good condition which is a rarity for a piece of this age. I believe it to be made of walnut. Overall. This is a beautiful Lane Furniture pop-up leaf dinning table. It is stamped Lido Blonde 792 on the bottom and was produced in 1962 during the time Paul McCobb was designing for Lane. It measures 60" long or 48" long with the pop-up leave folded down. 32" wide and 30" tall. It is in very good condition but does have surface wear and marks, there are stains on the lower legs as shown. No breaks or cracks. Pick up only. Thank you!

Large and impressive Paul McCobb for Calvin Group leather top coffee table. Enframed in brass. This is a great. Sophisticated old table! Very difficult to find and terribly difficult for me to part with, but its time has come. If you like McCobb and/or Mid Century, this is a'statement' piece. Table measures roughly 4' 6" L) X 16" W) X 16" H) Overall condition better than decent to good. But not perfect. I'll point out what I see: There is some slight damage to one leg(see pic) The drawer has a smallish splinter of wood along the bottom edge that was glued down. The bottom shelf exhibits scratches. Brass is all intact and is still firmly in place. Retains original Calvin badge and drawer knobs. Overall, I would say this is a low 7 out of 10. Completely all original and untouched. The only thing that I have done ... moreis to rub some'Feed N Wax' on the wood. Which gives the wood some moisture, nutrients and a nice warm glow. I really like this product because it enriches the wood without diminishing the value of the piece. Leather top is in good shape for its age too. It does exhibit some water ring marks here and there that are difficult to capture w/my camera, but they should diminish once the leather is cleaned and conditioned. High bidder may wish to rub in some leather conditioner and instantly see the leather'pop' and'glow' with warmth. This table will show very well and is very presentable. I will hold this item for 21 days to allow the high bidder time to arrange shipping/pick up. Plycon has done an excellent job for some of my Buyers in the past. This table and chair set are marked Paul McCobb. All three pieces are well used and have an aged patina. There are scratches in the finish but none are serious gouges in the wood. One chair which must have been the one the original owner used the most has marks from a pad and two loose legs which they pudied to stabilize. This is a very cute table and bench set dated 1973. It is custom made by the Blacksmith Shop. They are in excellent condition with some minor wear to the soft and supple vinyl or naugahyde upholstery and some minor wear to the painted metal legs. Some of the plastic glides are missing on the bottom of the benches but are available for replacement. The table has some minor wear to the laminate top. The benches measure 38" long. 19" deep and 29" high and 18.25" high at the seat. The table measures 40" long, 24" wide and 28" high. Vintage Guitar Pick Table Wood & Metal Arthur Umanoff Paul McCobb Era Mid Modern
For your consideration is a very nice rounded triangle shaped table with a solid oak top and round metal legs. Could be done by Arthur Umanoff but no labels. The three rounded black metal legs come down from the top and curve in towards the center where they raise up slightly and all join together. A very cool design indeed. The wood top looks to have been refinished many years ago and should probably be redone as it seems too glossy. Overall a beautiful and very well made table. Solid and stable.
