3 tier Mahogany Pie Crust Pedestal Table Occasional Table Dumbwaiter Butlers
This beautiful mahogany 3 tier pedestal table stands 41 inches tall. The 3 table tiers measure 12 1/2 inches. 17 1/4 inches, 23 1/4 inches respectively. The table has been lovingly restored to its original glory. There is what looks like a glue mark on the top of the middle table top at the base of the center column. There is a small nick on the finish of one of the feet that shows in the last picture. There is also what looks like a black or darkened spot on the lower table a few inches from the edge, it measures approximately 1/2 an inch long and 1/4 inch wide. The color difference between the second picture and the rest of the pictures is from the flash being used in all but that second picture. The true color is closer to the pictures with the flash, but the flash does make it appear a bit brighter than in person. I have a 1950's Heywood Wakefield 3753 3 tier end table for sale. It was refinished. But the markings on the bottom indicate that it was originally the champagne finish(see photos) The number"3753" is visible on the bottom with what looks like a"c" preceeding it. There are refinishing materials on eBay and other places on the internet that match the original HW champagne color and finish, or I suppose it could be restored to the HW wheat finish to match other pieces in your collection. This would be a great piece to bring back to its original glory, especially if you need to complete your set. It was manufactured with Phillips head screws. VINTAGE MID CENTURY DANISH MODERN TWO TIER BOOMERANG TABLE
The first pic is the truer color of this mid century Danish modern boomerang style table/ coffee table. Two tier table. Boomerang shape on both levels. I feel the table is in nice condition, I noted a few faint tiny scratches but the light has to be just right to detect them. I did not polish the table tops, I wasn't sure about the polish to use, some just smear. Sorry for the lighter color, I still can't figure out the lighting and flash on my camera. The table is 58 inches in length. The width as best as I can measure is approx. 24 inches and the height is at 15 1/2 inches. Pic# 6 shows the underneath of the table. Then I show the legs, the rubber tip ends were on the table, there is nothing really wrong with the leg ends other than some discoloration to the metal, I just figured previous owner put the rubber tips ends on for floor ... moreprotection. The laminate has only very mild superficial scratches from lamps or keys sitting on top of it. The scratches are only visible from certain angles with a certain angle of lighting. I can't even get pictures of it. Comparing this laminate to other pieces I own. It's shiny& smooth& very very nice. I would say almost excellent. But I don't want anyone to think that it looks straight out of the box. There is one very small chip on a corner of the laminate. But that's all I see worth mentioning. The gold-toned feet ... morethings do have patina evident of age. The screw& bolt things are in great condition& very sturdy. I have several pieces of the darker color& this one just doesn't work in my living room. I will remove the bottom legs for shipping. But it's easy to reassemble. You just twist them back on. This table is rectangular in style, with three tiered shelves of different sizes, the largest on the bottom leading up to the smallest one on top. The curved legs are covered in brass tips. Wieman Heirloom 2 Tier Table with Mesh Doors 933-A502
Rough but with lots of potential! I have never seen one of these tables made by Wieman Heirloom. The doors on top with the mesh on the open smoothly and close just as smooth. The table is 30inches long. 15 inches tall on the shorter side, and 25 inches tall on the tallest side. The leather inlay is coming up and will need to be reglued, it has seen better days. There are areas of dents-not big but they are dents. I tried to capture them in the photos. I believe this piece was repainted black because the bottom just had a black mist covering it. If you are looking for a restoration project- this is it! You can also leave it as is and put it on a covered patio. Heirloom Wieman was bought out by Bassett in 79 or 80, so they no longer exist. Three Tier Store Display Table This is a three tier store display that was used around the 1960's to the 1970's. The overall height of this three tier table when stacked and bolted together is 55"and at widest it has a 39" diameter across the bottom table top. All three wood tops are a 1 1/2" thick knotty pine with an almond crackle painted finish. The ornate wrought iron steel supports have a flat black painted finish are mounted to the bottom of each table top with wood screws. The tables can be used separately or stacked. The feet of the top and middle wrought iron supports are held in place by four bolts(one on each leg) that comes through the bottom of the two lower wood tops and mount to a threaded socket at the bottom of each of the ornate support legs. Serial#062040 Manufactured April 2. 1960 Measures 21 1/4" tall x 18" wide x 28" deep I have not cleaned or polished this piece. We did wipe it down to remove any surface dust. It was well maintained and appears to have been refinished at some point by the previous owner. Notable flaws would be finish inconsistencies that can be seen in the photos. It is estate fresh!
