Pair Grete Jalk Side Tables
Gorgeous pair of teak side tables in teak designed by Grete Jalk and produced by Glostrup in Denmark. Tables show the signature Jalk conical legs and fasteners but what sets these apart is the inverted tops. Unusually the bulldozed edge is on the top surface whereas on this pair they are on the bottom. This appears to be original and there are no signs of the tops being flipped and the veneer grain on the underside is in fact mahogany indicating it was meant to be on the bottom.
