Is a drop leaf(Has the two sides that fold up or down, and is a trolly rolling cart, on casters. I was told this is Maple wood, I am not an expert on these things, but it does appear to be Maple to me as well. The wood has a very warm glow and homey feel to it. What I can tell you is that this*has been in my Mother In laws home for at least 50 years. She never used it, per say, but was displayed in her home. This cart is on casters and is a rolling tea cart, and does roll. Working drawer on one side, with scroll like handle. It has the usual slight wear you'd expect, ... moreto my eye, this looks very good. I have to assume this was built in at least the 1950's some time. Table top measures 27"x17" when not opened. When fully opened table top measures 35"x27. Cart measures 28" high/tall. I cannot see any major flaws to point out to you, other than it needs a good cleaning. I do know its very important how and what you use to clean these antiques, and so I am leaving that up to its new owner. This table was bought at the Waukegan Illinois fair around 1960 by my friends father and has stayed in his family ever since.
