This auction is for a very unique table. Glass tiers with metal base and center design This item is VERY heavy. The glass tiers/slabs are approx 3/4" thick each! Table measures approx 59" x 17" x 27.5" This item came out of an estate of a very wealthy entrepreneur. Made by Design Institute of America. Still has original label. This table is not in perfect condition. There are some surface scratches. There are some tiny chips in the glass and there is one larger chip in the glass. In the last photo if you look at the back of the glass slab there is a chip out of the underside of the second tier. I still have this piece that could be epoxied on just for the sake of doing so if you wish. It is on the underside of the shelf as you can see in the photo. 1983 Design Institute Of America three-tier swivel brass. Steel and glass coffee-serving table. The top two levels swivel making this table suitable for a coffee or serving table. Table is serial numbered and signed. The design has been attributed to Milo Baughman. In its compact state it measures 15" high and 28" across. When fully open it is 70" across. Bottom tier is 25 1/2" diameter. Middle and top tier are 21 1/4" diameter. Price includes economy delivery.
