Offered for sale is a Fabulous Vintage Maitland Smith Demilune Game Table. Beautifully tooled antique brown leather covers the table. Top to bottom, including the small finials, feet and legs. The table features gold embossed detailing, three little decorative drawers with solid brass pulls, and the Maitland Smith brass plate inside the center drawer. This table is a demilune with the option of opening the top to reveal a 30" diameter round surface. The back two legs swing at approximately a 45 degree angle to support the top when open. Overall the table is in excellent condition with the following exceptions: The leather has finish wear when in the demilune position(see pic#12) The bottom of the feet have nicks in the leather with the most prominent and noticeable in pic#11. MID CENTURY REGENCY ITALIAN FLORENTINE CONSOLE CHEST DEMILUNE 2 DOOR CABINET
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. And somewhat rare, Mid Century, Hollywood Regency serpentine cabinet. This gorgeous cabinet is in Mid Century, Italian Florentine style and is made of Florentine style hard composite. The cabinet has a faux wood grain which is very subtle. It is ornately patterned with a background lattice/diamond cut feature and thick, ornate scrolls in overlay relief. The chest has curved/bowed front and side panels. It features one door which is the center panel. The door pull is large and very ornate and repeats the lattice design of the cabinet. The interior has a center shelf and the bottom is shelved for storage. The top features the same dimensional design as the cabinet. A piece of glass could be cut for the top if you wanted to display items on it. The color palette is a golden cream with an antiqued gold, ... morefaux gilded, glazed finish on the overlay designs as well as in the crevices. The chest is in very good condition. It was used as a decorative piece in a women's clothing store in Springfield. Missouri from the 1960s to the 1980s when the store closed. The woman who owned the store stored the chest in her home until her recent passing. We purchased from her estate. It has a few minor scuffs, which are not distracting, but is in overall, excellent condition. The chest measures 28" tall and is 37" wide at the top. It is 13" deep(front to back) on the top. Vintage, brass demilune console/entry table(we have two available if you should desire a pair to use as nighstands) The table features hoof feet and is in the manner of Maitland Smith, Labarge and Maison Jansen style. The table is in very good condition with little evidence of use. It features a thick, beveled glass top. One of the glass tops still retains a"Made in Belgium" sticker but there are no other manufacturing marks. The table is weighty and is in very good condition. The glass does have a few, very minor surface scratches from use, but these are not distracting or severe. Please note that we do NOT sell the glass but, because it is so nice and thick, we will include it with the table base.
