Augarten Vintage "Courbette" Lipizzaner Spanish Riding School Figurine
I recently acquired another version of the Lipizzaner horse and rider in parade(red) dress. So this vintage figurine is available at a fraction of its' current value. This is the"Courbette" portrait of the famous Spanish Riding School Augarten figurines. It is an older version, which is about 15% larger and more detailed than today's versions. It measures 11+ 1/2 inches tall. NOTE: this piece is in very good condition overall. Except that the rider's right stirrup and stirrup strap are missing. I still have the strap, which can be reattached, but the silver stirrup above the rider's boot is gone(see photo) Still a lovely figurine, but sold as is.

This is a hand painted single piece and is very fragile due to the way the horse is attached to the man in a single sculpture. Most of the weight is perfectly balanced above the base.
