Old bluish glass sleepy eyes with upper teeth inside her mouth and old wig glued on. Wig still looks nice, not perfect but nice. Outift is very old, probably early 1900s as well and has a few stains and light wear. One leg is coming loose where the leather and cloth join so it will need to be resewn. There is also a small tear in the leather in the middle of the upper back by the shoulder plate, about 1 inch long. Otherwise, the leather has general wear throughout. Outift is on snugly so we didn't remove it. A very cute old doll that only needs a little bit of work. 15 inches tall and heavy. Zoom in the pictures for details. You are bidding on: AN ANTIQUE BISQUE PORCELAIN FIGURAL STATUE. LATE 19TH CENTURY WINTER GIRL WITH DOG IN COLLAR WARMER, GERMAN MANUFACTURE AND VERY RARE. Here's a BEAUTIFUL find from an estate purchase; this came from a very old household in central Kentucky. And was part of a large lot of antique and vintage pottery and porcelain which I'll be listing over the next few weeks. This beautiful young lady stands about 12 1/2" inches tall. Is dressed in winter clothes and has her pocket puppy wrapped in a warm cuff. I've seen this figural before(I've been collecting, hunting, trading and buying for over 30 years) and I can assure you that this is European production, German or Dutch origin, late 19th century to early 20th century and handpainted. If you really want to make it easy on yourself. I will make it as easy at it ... morewas on me when I found this piece. Inside the bottom, there is a tag with an inscription in typical old-lady writing: As far back as I can remember this doll was at our house- before 1914. It belonged to my mother Martha(Maarke? Selling and trading antique items for over 30 years, so I know that the only perfect piece is one that just left the factory. And even then it probably has some original-manufacture flaws. I tend to call out flaws that other sellers might not notice or conveniently overlook, so when I tell you it's right, it's right. I want everybody happy. That being said. Here's what I'd note to condition: There is a tiny flake/chip in the back of the base, visible in detail photo. There are also a couple lines on girl's left cheek which are probably original manufacture marks, not damage. Otherwise. damn. it's over 100 years of perfect. Very old and very stylish. This is a very sweet and rare to find German bisque baby created by the Karl Schneider factory c1880-1910. He is one of the nicest I have had to sell. An adorable handpainted face! He is in excellent condition with no chips or repairs and measures just under 9 inches wide by 5 inches high. Lovely German antique piano baby figurine of a lovely baby girl sitting and posing for a photograph. This adorable baby girl has wavy brown hair. Blue eyes and a very life-like face. Very unusual piano baby. She is quite large. 7 inches tall in a sitting position, and 6 inches front to back and almost 4 inches wide. There is a red number 43 marked on the base. Appears to be the quality of Hertwig or Heubach but not marked as such. Great antique condition. All fingers and toes intact. There is some wear to the paint on a finger and a toe. RARE* 16” ANTIQUE GERMAN BISQUE HEUBACH GIRL W/ FAN*GORGEOUS* This beautiful figurine was found at a recent local sale. She is an unmarked Heubach. I have an identical one that IS marked. Purchased long ago along with her mate and also a collection of about 50 Heubachs…she is guaranteed Heubach. As any Heubach collector can tell you, they are not all marked. This girl stands a massive 16” tall. She is holding a fan above her head. The fan is embellished with purple hand painted flowers. This girl has a very serene look on her face. See close-up pictures. She has intaglio blue eyes and coral colored blush and lips. There are ever so slight dimples on her cheeks. Her blonde hair is done in a top knot with a pink bow. Her dress is a pale greenish yellow with purple and gold embellishments of flowers and leaves and scrolls. There is one flaw ... morewhich is a shallow chip at the front right bottom edge. It has been painted in(paint matches well) and is not very visible. On the base. You might see slight smudges. This is where the painter held the item while decorating it. This is an absolutely beautiful bisque porcelain statue by Vion& Baury. She stands 16 1/2" tall. The base measures 5 1/2" across. This is a very heavy piece weighing almost 6 pounds. This amazing German Bisque Fairing measures about 2" tall x 2-1/8 wide. And about 1-1/2" deep. it actually rocks when you push on the ear or man. Description Up for auction is this pair of large German Bisque Piano Baby Porcelain Figurines. They each measure approximately inches tall. It is in great shape with no chips. Cracks or repairs. If you look inside of the buggy lid down behind the baby, there is a mold flaw from manufacturing(small split line) which I've shown. This is not damage, simply in the mold, but I want to be accurate. Piano baby is a collector's term. About 1880. The well-decorated home had a shawl on the piano. It is in great antique condition with wear to the paint. There is also a small abraded area on the back of the umbrella which is not visible from the front view. Rare Antique Naughty Risque Erotica Bisque Flipper Peaches Leaves Blonde Twins
Unique. Sweet, early 20th-century"flipper" a hand-painted porcelain piece with a scene on one side that seems innocent(a twig hung with a pair of ripening peaches) until you flip it over to reveal two young ladies in their lacy belted drawers and camisoles- which means the peaches on the reverse are really rosy bare bottoms. Must have been quite an indecent object in its time! Excellent condition- the tips of a couple of the leaves seem to have a very minor chip(one pictured) The noses, feet, fingers, hair tendrils, and all other features appear intact, exquisitely delicate shaping, coloring, and little if any wear on paint. The back of one heel has a"6" or"9" painted on it. No other maker's mark, but I have seen another"flipper" on ebay made by Vater Schafer. I haven't been able to find another ... moresimilar to this in online research. I have chosen not to clean the dust in crevices and some minor smudges on the ladies. For auction is a rare to find German bisque figural fairing group of two women and a gentleman hiding under the ones hoop skirt! I have not seen this piece before and believe it to be quite rare. It was from the same collector as a very rare fairing I just listed as well. Dates mid to late 1800s and appears to be in very good condition with some light wear and the lady in blue I believe had an umbrella at one time as there is a hole in her one hand. The ends of the ribbons on her bonnet have broken on the ends and there metal under the skirt has wear. These are minor in my opinion considering the age and rarity of this piece. And features a classical maiden and her child gardening. Made as part of a four seasons series. This one appears to be"Spring" and has the child offering his mother flowers as she tries to garden. Excellent quality and attention to detail. One of the nicest plaques I have had the pleasure of listing. Approx. measurements of the plaque is 10 3/4" in diameter and approx. 2 1/2" deep. Excellent condition with minor age appropriate wear. There is a small chip on the back where there looks to have been a wire strung through it to hang it. There is also an indented place on the bottom edge but this is from the making. All minor. No other chips. Cracks ... moreor repairs. Although unmarked. The plaque is definitely of German origin and most likely Volstedt. A complete set of 4 sold at auction at Christie's in 1998 for more than $4500 usd. Rare Antique French Bisque Porcelain Statue Bust Figurine The Duet Signed
This is a rare opportunity to own a work of art by renowned sculpture Edouard Lanteri titled The Duet. Edouard Lanteri was a French- born British sculptor and medalist 1848- 1917 whose Romantic French style of sculpting was seen as influential among exponents of New Sculpture. Feel free to Google him if you would like to learn more about him. This 19th century sculpture is signed ED. LANTERI and was made in France. I tried to take a picture of his signature, and if you look at the picture of the claw foot you will be able to see the signature, its a little hard to see as it just did not photograph well. It is in wonderful condition, there are no hairline cracks that I can see there is something that looks like a few tiny cuts in some areas, but it looks like it was due to the firing process and,only a little wear to a part of the front of ... morethe base of this piece which is to be expected for its age. It is bisque, porcelain and really very beautiful. the dimensions are 15 1/4 inches wide x 19 inches high, the depth is 12 1/2 inches and weighs about 36 pounds. Please see all the pictures closely as the details on this piece are amazing from the expression on the two women's faces to the details on their fingers and hair, and the folds in the fabric, look at the claw feet on the bench, it is so realistic. Due to the age of this piece, it could use a cleaning in the crevices. The original of this piece was done in marble and is in London. This bisque version has come up only a few times in auction houses such as Christies and Sotheby's. There was one up for auction just like this one in the auction house Dorotheum which is one of the oldest auction houses in Europe located in Vienna with other branches throughout Europe, and the estimate for this same piece is $4800 to $8300. VERY RARE FINELY DETAILED LARGE VICTORIAN COUPLE STATUE FIGURINES/ RENAISSANCE/ PORCELAIN This stunningly large and detailed pair of figurines measures just about 22 inches tall by 7 inches at the base. Gorgeous coloring throughout each piece and very finely detailed. Colors are still very nice! Each appears to be individually hand painted. No maker's marks or markings that I could find on either piece. These great statues came from my great aunt's home and she had them well over 50+ years. Statues are from the late 1800s to early 1900s The woman figure has a beautiful shy and sweet facial expression as she looks at her suitor. She also has gold gilt paint accents throughout as well as meticulously detailed flowers on her dress. Some of the details are raised designs. She is holding a few pages of a love letter(one has a chip that ... moreappears to be very old. Rare Antique German Bisque Piano Baby Doll Trio Human Hair Wig Twins& Lil Sister
Offered here for your bidding consideration is this trio of darling little antique German bisque piano baby dolls with rare human hair wigs! Included in the lot are two larger 3" plus sized twin sister figurines and their 1 7/8" baby sister. All small enough to fit into the palm of your hand! Though much smaller in scale than traditional piano babies that were large enough and heavy enough to hold down piano scarves, these seated and reclining doll figurines, no matter their size, have all been categorized together by modern collectors as piano babies. All three dolls are all bisque. Immobile, and have painted eyes. The larger dolls have open dome heads with tiny cardboard pates upon which their human hair wigs are glued. Big blue removable bows of rayon ribbon(more recent additions) are attached by way of straight pins pushed into ... morethe pates. At 3 1/4" the taller of the two dolls is modeled in the kneeling position, with her little bottom peeking out from behind. She has long straight hair, while her 3" sister playing with the ball has rows of carefully curled human hair glued to her head. This cutie is marked Germany, 35015 on the back. Baby sister's bow is sewn onto the mohair wig atop of her solid dome head. Looking down at the tops of the heads, one can see a portion of the old silk bow that was tied onto the original wig of the straight haired doll, as photographed. This is a gorgeous hard to find beautiful German bisque baby wearing a bathing cap created by the Heubach factory c1890. he is so sweet with his arms over his knees and beautiful rosy cheeks and lips! He is a nice size at approximately 7 inches high by 5 inches wide. The condition is excellent. I see no chips. Repairs, restorations. There is a small firing flaw on his one arm in the back that looks like a little dent or scrape in the porcelain which occurred in the making. He is marked on the bottom with painted numbers and I think impressed numbers as well. An old antique dealer who collected THE BEST bisques once told me that the ones with divots in their eyes are the GOOD ones. These have those divots. For scale the boy is a whopping 11" tall& about 3-1/4" across the front of the base. Each features wonderful hand painting. Check thegold fastners on their'fur' coats. Their boots button up the sides to their knees. Their faces are gorgeous. Remarkably I can find no damage on either. I am starting these at what I think is a fair price& have no reserve on them. Rare LARGE 9" Antique Victorian HEUBACH German Bisque Piano Baby Figurine Figure
This is a gorgeous large bisque sweet baby girl in her pink bonnet created by the Gerbruder Heubach factory circa 1890-1910. She is a rare large size to find at approximately 9 1/4 inches high by almost 6 inches wide and is fairly heavy weighted. Her condition I would consider excellent/very good. I see no chips. Repairs, restorations at all. Only flaws to mention are some stress lines on the back bottom base of her which occur sometimes over age in early bisque/porcelain pieces. She is marked on the bottom with numbers and the Gerbruder Heubach sunrise impressed mark. Very early. Dating to the late 1800's, heubach figurine. In forty years of collecting, I've only seen this figure one time and this is it! She is in perfect condition, has the early round base, is beautifully handpainted and has gilded accents on the pinafore. Absolutely lovely detail in every way. She is quite large. Measuring 14" tall, almost 5" wide and approx. 4 1/2" deep.quite large, makes a great statement! If you collect heubachs or german bisque, you won't want to miss out on this one. This very beautiful figurine is possibly a Heubach Snow Bisque figurine. A very lovely bisque painted girl, adorned with a wool coat and hat holding a sled by a tree. The tree is actually in the form of a vase. There is a mark on the lower back both numbered and with a clover. It is numbered on the bottom as well. A very special delicate figurine. Measures: 4 1/2"tall. 3" log on the base and 2 1/2"wide at the base. There is a very slight wear in the top of the tree of paint.

The story of"Swing Girl" Back 70 years ago we would visit my great-grandmother in Wilkes-Barre. Pa.On the corner of her large mirror over the fireplace was"Swing Girl, hanging from a ribbon.Upon her death"swing Girl moved to grandmas' and got a new ribbon, passed on then to my mother she changed to gold cord and hung on the edge of a smaller frame,A few years ago mother passed and we wrapped"Swing Girl" and brought her home.We are liquidating and found her. We never noticed over the years. Nor do we know whih generation had a fall of"swing Girl" Her only imperfections are a small chip on seat of swing and a flower missing fromleft shoulder.Neither were noticible. She measures 6 1/2 X 4 1/2 X 3. Hallmark of two crossed arrows Numbered 7632 Her colors are in the blue and yellow. Pastels. Her complexion ... moreis fair and locks of blond. Pair of RARE Antique 19th C. Victorian German Porcelain Bisque Statues Figures
Listing is for this exceptionally crafted large-sized pair of original late 19th century bisque statuettes of a handsome soldier romantically saluting an equally beautiful young woman holding a handkerchief. Adorned in early 19th century dress. Figures display gorgeous quality of refined period character. Figures are hand painted in a soft palate of pastel colors with dress embellishments that include shimmering gold highlights. The pale blue eyes and golden hair of these beauties suggest German manufacture. Figures stand above a stylized"Victorian" base of dull gold, accented with flowers. Figures not marked by artist or manufacturer, however are quite rare, high-end pieces of outstanding quality. Rare Antique German All Bisque Child Easter Lamb Gold Cross Piano Baby Praying
This little beauty has always been a favorite of mine for Easter decorating. She is in wonderful condition. I don't see any numbers or maker's marks.
