Looks like a Chelsea Birds variant, Without a backstamp. Hard to identify. Could certainly be Mottahedeh with a paper label that is now gone, Overglazed with enamel accents, Gild rim. Minimal wear and a few small skips, Measures 10" in diameter. 4-1/4" high, No issues. No cracks, stains, repairs. Rings like a bell when tapped! Our family used a similar bowl for all baptisms. Karl Ens was known for his fine animal figurines. His company was later purchased by Rosenthal. Both pheasants are hallmarked with the green hallmark. I do believe that the hallmark on the larger pheasant is a tad bit earlier. Age: 1920-1939 Measurements: Male: Approximately 9 1/2" in height Female: Approximately 7 1/2" in height Condition: Male: The bottom is rough where it was pulled from the mold- you can't see it when it stands but it looks like a chip. Set of 6 Antique Japanese Imari Porcelain Plates Signed 5 1/2" Dragons Pheasants
These six small Imari plates have a lobed edge and feature an alternating pattern of dragons and pheasants. They measure 5 1/2" in diameter and are approx. 1 1/2" high. Overall these plates are in very good condition with no cracks or repairs. There is wear to the paint on the surface of the plates(see pics) as well as to some of the painted feathers along the outside(2nd& 3rd to last pic) Only one plate has a small chip to the bottom(see last picture) But all of them are signed and have some wear/discoloration to the base. The plates are vastly similar to those from the late Edo/Meiji period and the Arita kiln which produced porcelain in Nabeshima, currently Saga Prefecture of Kyushu.
