A superb pair of 19th century Meissenporcelain figurine 4 branch candlestick holders exquisitely decorated withapplied flowers with one featuring man and putto and the other featuring a lady and putto sitting on the base. Attributed to the Meissen modelerLeuteritz. These are absolutely gorgeousand have several chips(as expected for this age) to the flower petals and leaves. The figures have all fingers& toes intact there are no cracks or repairs. Both are stamped on the base with the blue crossed swords and incised with the number 84 and one is marked with a red 16. 19th Century Antique Matching Numbered Pair Staffordshire Porcelain Spaniel Dogs
Here is a perfectly wonderful old numbered and trade marked matching pair of Staffordshire Spaniels that date back to the late 1800's. The British royalty loved their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and they became a revered subject for the porcelain pottery makers of 19th Century England. The pair came down with my Great-Grandparents to Bartow. Florida in 1910 and have been in the family since. I only say this because it probably makes them a"one owner" provenance. The mark on the base is that of"Old Staffordshire Ware England" And both pieces are numbered but only one still legibly. They appear to be numbered 43 and 17 and of course, the numbers are under the original glaze. In 1892 Parliament decreed that English pottery must say"England" on the bottom. Twenty years later the mark had to read"Made ... morein England" The Spaniels stand 5 1/2" high and the base is four inches long by 2 3/4" at the widest part. The pair is in absolutely perfect condition. With no cracking, chipping or crazing whatsoever. I photographed them in sunlight and with flash to try and bring out the lovely rose gold paint under the glaze. The locket and collar are probably 24 carat solid gold paint. I will want to send these insured for at least the value of the winning bid. If you would like. I can insure them for the appraised value of five hundred U.S.D. I will not take the chance of sending them overseas.

Fine Pair Large Antique Early 19th C. German Statues_Priced to Sell Estate Find! This is a fine pair of antique Germany statues that came from a old Fort Mitchell. Kentucky estate sale. These are a exceptional pair of early 19th C. figurines that are definitely worthy of your attention. The attention to detail, and the early colors make this pair a sharp find. The antique German statue of the woman measures approximately 9.5' and she does have a few minor conditions issues of which to note. Under her bonnet there is a about a.5' chip, on the base of the statue there is.25' Please see photo's. Where her hands meet holding the grapes, there is small firing flaw. Also, some minor gold loss on the upper and lower rim. There are no cracks, repairs. Considering the age of the piece, she is in fine condition(In my opinion, this statue ... moredates from the turn of the 19th C. around 1800. Possibly could be late 18th C. The antique German statue of the man measures approximately 9.75' tall, and he also has some conditions issues of which to note. There is a.25' chip on the base, his right hand has a firing flaw. The receptacle has a.75' chip, along with a few chips to the rim(Please see photo's. There is also a gold piece on the base near the pink flower petal, that is missing a section that measures about 1.75' Also, some minor gold loss to the upper and lower rim(Again, in my opinion this statue dates from the turn of the 19th C. around 1800. Possibly, could be late 18th C. There are no cracks, or repairs. These wonderful 19th C. statues are not easy to find in any condition, and they are certainly ready for a professional restoration. A true pair and the dog's positions reverse such that they are facing each other when the figurines are placed side-by-side(pic#1) Appear hand-modelled and not from molds and please note how one of the dogs is a little shorter and fatter than the other as can be seen especially in pic#4. Meissen 19th C Pair of Four Seasons "Spring and Fall"
We are offering a pair of the famous Meissen Four Seasons series. These two depict Fall and spring. Fall is depicted as a goddess holding a scyth and a bunch of wheat. While standing next to her is a putti holding a a large bunch of wheat to honor the coming fall season. The woman is clothed in pink drapery and is quite beautiful. This piece stands 12 inches in height. It is marked with the Meissen crossed swords and inscribed with the number 674. It is first quality. Spring is a goddess. Holding a flower while resting a basket on the head of a putti. The basket is filled with flowers. The workmanship on both these pieces is magnificent. Only found on 19th century work by the masters at Meissen. Spring stands 11 1/2 inches in height and is marked with Meissen crossed swords and is inscribed with the number 688. Outstanding Pair of 19th Century KPM Busts The pair were purchased in Germany by my grandmother while stationed there with my grandfather at the end of WWII. There is no doubt they are authentic considering their marks and where/when they were aquired. The detail is exquisite and remarkably beautiful. As can be seen in the pictures. There is a chip out of Diana's base on the right rear corner as well as a tiny chip off the left side of the crescent on her head. We could not find a mark on these pieces but they are so well painted they certainly came from one of the best German porcelain factories in the 19th century. Here is a lovely pair of 19th Century glazed bisque French poodle dog figures each holding a basket in its mouth. They are 3" high and are in good condition for their age with no chips or cracks. But there is paint loss to the gold paint that was on the baskets and on parts of the fur originally. And there is a glaze flaw on one dog with a rough raised spot, but this is typical to these figurines. They are both marked Germany down the sides of their backs but it is a very faint impression under the glaze(but the marks are there) These are authentic old dogs. You are bidding on a nice pair of antique fencing swords made by W. Clauberg Solingen and used by my grandmother in the late 1800's. The swords are tipped and are in good condition showing typical aging with markings of Solingen on each sword and the knight marking on each sword. The handles are brass tipped with red leather and roping in very good condition. The swords measure approximately 33 inches overall. With the blade measuring 26 3/4 inches and the handle 6 1/4 inches. The guards are very slightly loose, but overall in good condition. Pair 19th C Antique Staffordshire English Flatback Hunter on Horse Figurines
This is a very nice pair of white. Flatback, Staffordshire figurines(one faces left and one right) They are hunters on horseback with a deer slung across the saddle in front of them. They are hand painted with gold on their clothing and outlining the deer and details of the horses. The faces. Hands, and legs of the hunters are"flesh-colored" Black is used for the hunters' hair, their shoes, and the muzzles and hooves of the horses. There are green bushes or clumps of grass beneath the horses. These are in good condition and don't seem to have been repaired. Except for some crazing and what appear to be cracks in the glaze from manufacture. They have no visible cracks or damage except on the right facing figurine. That figurine has a chip missing from the top of the horse's head, which shortens one ear. It is noticeable ... moreon close inspection; see the pictures. That figurine also has an oddity in the glaze at the crook of his right elbow, which looks to be from manufacture(see photo) The figurines stand approximately 14 1/4" high and measure about ten inches in length between the horse's nose and tail. They weigh about eight pounds apiece.

Very Nice Pair of signed Bloor Derby Porcelain Figurines Antique early 19th Cent Bright and colorful pair of signed Bloor Derby figures. These displays great but they do have some damage as almost all from this period do. They date 1820-1840 with these marks and have old dealers tags from London. England on the bases. The girl has had her head broken off and reattached and there is some chipping to the thin leaves on the base and also the yellow batch that she is holding. Her right thumb is also missing. A number of the tips of whatever the boy is holding are missing, possibly from the factory that way since they seem to have original paint over the ends, but I can't be certain. One tip is white and recently chipped and there is some chipping to the thin leaves in the base. Both these figures have normal glaze crazing although the boy ... morehas one 2" horizontal craze line in the back that could be considered a surface crack. These figures display great. The gold is in superb condition and the paint is bright and colorful with almost no wear at all. They measure 10" and 9" tall, 3&3/4" across the bases.
