This is a pretty porcelain German made Lady Flower Frog. As you can see in the photos this is not an all white figurine. There are a total of nine holes on the base. There is a tiny dark spot on the waist and even smaller dark spot on top of the head. It looks like it happened in the making of the figurine(see pic. 8) She is 4" length. 7" height and 3" width. The figure. It quite large, and measures 19 inches or 48 cm high and is 10 ½ inches or 26.5 cm at its widest. This Parian sculpture features a beautiful young woman seated on a rock with a flowing cloth over her lap. Beside her on the rock are 2 doves with their beaks interlocking. This piece has excellent attention to detail throughout. Although unsigned this piece is attributed to Union Porcelain Works. And was purchased at an estate sale in upstate NY. This is a gorgeous Porcelain Art Deco Half Doll Related Bathing Beauty Figurine Trinket by Goebel of Germany. She is kneeling and leaning down and appears to be scooping water into something she is holding in her hand. Approximately 2 1/4 inches tall and 3 7/8 inches wide. Stamped on the bottom with the blue Goebel mark. The mark is also incised into the porcelain. There is also an M or W stamped on the bottom. In excellent condition. The Figure is entitled"Solitude" and depicts a beautiful partially nude Young Maiden with a Stork Bird beside her. The Figure is impressed Art Union of London 1852 along with J. Lawlor Sculp(tor) The Figure is not marked but this is a well known Parian Figure and I have seen others being sold as Minton by large Auction Houses. The Figure is in good all original condition with a small loss to the Stork's Beak. A chip to the base and some original firing cracks to the base, which is often found on such large examples. The Figure is very large and most impressive, measuring 20-1/2" tall by 9-1/2" wide by 7-1/2" deep approximately. The Figure could also use a good cleaning but we prefer to leave everything as original as it came from the Estate.
