This is a 4 in. tall and 2 3/4 in. wide Napoleonic bust figurine. I did not find any cracks or chips. It has gold painted accents. Very nice piece. I could not find any makers marks. He does have"DD" with a cross painted on his chest. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the maker. Please feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.

This is a pair of beautiful vintage bisque wall plaques. Affixed to a velvet background and mounted on an antique natural wood oval frame. GREAT DETAIL! Their faces are so BEAUTIFUL! Porcelain figurine is 9 1/2 inches tall on a base measuring 2 7/8 inches square. The company mark on base was used between 1905-1972. What appears to be the craftsman's own mark or an inspection mark is also present. Exceptional attention to detail in the facial features and the eyes.

German porcelain figurine of a mounted soldier titled"SOULT” The figure depicts one of Napoleon's Imperial Guard cavalry soldiers. A unique elite group of soldiers of the French Army that closely guarded and fought beside Napoleon I. Many factories produced groupings of soldiers in porcelain. Napoleon's soldiers are some of the most popular amongst collectors. Figures made by the German firm of Kister. Scheibe-Alsbach are of superb quality. Made from good heavy weight hard-paste porcelain, they are expertly hand painted with fine detail. HERE IS A HUMOROUS LION OF ENGLAND AND THE FIRST DUKE OF WELLINGTON'S"LION RAMPANT" SYMBOL. MOCKING THE FALL OF NAPOLEON BONAPARTE IN THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO. THERE IS A MONUMENT IN A PLACE CALLED"THE LION MOUND" COMMEMORATING THE FALL OF NAPOLEON ON THE 18TH OF JUNE IN 1815. THE LION FIGURINE STANDS 10 1/4" TALL TO THE TOP OF THE PLUME. THE BASE IS 2 3/4" SQUARE. THE FIGURINE/BUST IS A LITTLE DIRTY AND SLIGHT LOSS OF GLOSS IN A COUPLE OF SPOTS ON THE RIGHT FACING SIDE OF THE HAT. SEE THE LAST PHOTO. ANY QUESTIONS?
