The previous owners had a large collection of 18th and 19th century English wares to include a vast collection of 19th century Staffordshire figurals. Dancing feminine angel candlestick description. Beautifully hand painted with gold. Green, pink, purple, and yellow colors. Colors still vibrant on this unique flowered vined tree. 90% of the gold paint is still present! Many of the flowers have chips. 5 petals missing from under the cups. Center cup is cracked. So much detail still in place. You can see the exquisite detail and coloring of the angels hands, her hair, the red coloring in her lips. So much detail in the flowers and trees. It's gorgeous. A masterpiece. Candlestick number two, violin angel boy description. Also beautifully hand painted with gold, green, pink, yellow, brown, and black colors. Makers mark on back in blue under glaze crossed swords with an E above the ... moreswords and a C below, founded by M. Clement in 1786 and this mark was used until 1886 after an official complaint was filed by Meissen, and they were forbidden to make any further use of this mark. This piece is beautiful. A quality made item, very detailed and colorfully painted. Seated couple on a love seat playing their musical instruments and there is a small dog seated between them. Gold accented trim on the love seat and base and edging of their clothing. Please see photos for greater details. There is some damage to this piece. The gentlemen is missing his index finger and the end of the flute which have broken off, there is some of the lace missing off along the bottom of the woman's dress, and on the edge of her sleeve, No other breaks. mid 19th Century Royal Vienna A Boy, A Girl, A Goat and some Grapes
This is a lovely piece of Austrian porcelain and it is pretty near perfect. One of the lace bows is missing about a 10th of an inch on the first photo. That is it. All of the grapes. The leaves, and the fingers are present and accounted for. The painting is excellent-this was a top of the line piece when created. And I have seen later reproductions-they do not have the charm and skill this one has. it is amazing. It is 6.5 inches tall. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS caref ully. This auction is for a blue on white scenic porcelain egg. It stands 9" tall and is 5" in diameter. The item was hand-painted and in perfect condition. I had this figurine and a number of others appraised by Arthur Church's Appraisals of Colorado Springs. On November 6th, 2014. At that time, this item had an Insurance Replacement Value of $450.00.
