This fine piece was purchased from a very prominent Washington D.C. estate. The previous owners had a large collection of 18th and 19th century English wares to include a vast collection of 19th century Staffordshire figurals. Although the bidding was vigorous.I was able to purchase a few or so from this fine estate. Antique Germany mid 19th Century SITZENDORF porcelain candlestick holders
Dancing feminine angel candlestick description. Beautifully hand painted with gold. Green, pink, purple, and yellow colors. Colors still vibrant on this unique flowered vined tree. 90% of the gold paint is still present! Many of the flowers have chips. 5 petals missing from under the cups. Center cup is cracked. So much detail still in place. You can see the exquisite detail and coloring of the angels hands, her hair, the red coloring in her lips. So much detail in the flowers and trees. It's gorgeous. A masterpiece. Candlestick number two, violin angel boy description. Also beautifully hand painted with gold, green, pink, yellow, brown, and black colors. Colors are vibrant with this one also containing 90% of the gold! Many flowers are chipped with 1petal missing underneath the center cup. All cups are perfect. Boy missing arm and violin ... morebow. So much detail still present, so much coloring in the boys face, on the vined tree.the flowers are gorgeous. There are so many flowers! More than most pieces! mid 19th Century Royal Vienna A Boy, A Girl, A Goat and some Grapes
This is a lovely piece of Austrian porcelain and it is pretty near perfect. One of the lace bows is missing about a 10th of an inch on the first photo. That is it. All of the grapes. The leaves, and the fingers are present and accounted for. The painting is excellent-this was a top of the line piece when created. And I have seen later reproductions-they do not have the charm and skill this one has. it is amazing. It is 6.5 inches tall. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS caref ully. If you like 18th century and early 19th century English pearlware and soft paste porcelain. Lovely hand painted and gilt design(See Pictures) Note the repair sticker from H. A Eberhardt& Son a company from Philadelphia that has been in business at least since 1869. See Pictures) A kind eBayer has informed us that t his model of dogs-which. According to Judith Miller, are Newfoundlands-all have a long red tongue that hangs out. They are early pieces- c. 1830. Oriental Porcelain Egg, mid-19th Century NO RESERVE!
This auction is for a blue on white scenic porcelain egg. It stands 9" tall and is 5" in diameter. The item was hand-painted and in perfect condition. I had this figurine and a number of others appraised by Arthur Church's Appraisals of Colorado Springs. On November 6th, 2014. At that time, this item had an Insurance Replacement Value of $450.00. Also, according to the appraisal, this egg-shaped figurine was mad in the mid 1800's. For interested bidders, I'd be happy to scan a copy of the appraisal for review.

The“new” like condition is due to the pair of dogs being stored in an almost dark room for the previous 60 years. Hand Painted with gold highlights. Made primarily by Staffordshire potteries and left unmarked. They are also known as hearth or fireplace dogs.
