Vintage pair of porcelain victorian lady lamp figurines made in Germany
This is a very old pair of beautiful porcelain lamps made in Germany from the early 1900's. They are both numbered 14702, there is a makers mark on the side but I am not able to find much info but believe it might be Dornheim Kock Fischer. They are 9 1/2" high overall and the figurine it's self is 6 1/2" high, 4" wide, and 3 1/2" deep. These lamps both have the original cloth covered cords that they first came with and will have to be replaced if you intend to use them. There is no chips cracks or scratches on these wonderful pieces. They would be great in a girls room or up in a lit shelf and proudly displayed. Insurance will be included with shipping. Antique German Porcelain Volkstedt Dresden Lady Blackamoor Lamp Figurine Figure
This is a a beautiful and quite rare to find figural lamp created by the Muller Volkstedt factory of Germany. A lady is sitting at her vanity powdering her face as a young boy puts her shoe on her foot. It is a rare example created by this factory and dates 1920s-40s. The lady has a tiny chip on the end of her pointer finger and the boy has a broken thumb. Minor on display. There is some lace chipping to her gown as well. I did not test the lamp to see if it works however the cord is intact. Measures 8 1/2 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide. Very special piece for the collector! This is a gorgeous large German porcelain figural grouping mounted as a lamp. It is hand painted and has beautiful details! Created by the A.E. Muller factory of Germany. This grouping depicts a royal couple playing instruments together. The gentleman has lost his flute and one thumb and there is some chipping to the flowers on the base and a little to the porcelain flowers on the ormolu stems, I see no other damage. A large size, entire lamp measures just shy of 2 feet high. Finial on top is missing. The actual figure is 10 1/4 inches tall by 9 1/4 inches wide. Up for auction is a hand painted German Porcelain Lady Figurine Lamp Base. This item measures 8" tall and approx 3 3/4" across the bottom. It is marked on the bottom with the numbers 685. It appears there may have been a blue ink marking but it is not discernible. This lovely lady has a blue dress with yellow ruffled sleeves and bodice. She has a spray of yellow flowers across her skirt. The lamp column has a brass fitting on the top that is threaded. There is some gold accent paint on the white column right behind her head but it is worn off elsewhere. The column has 1 small hole for the cord to come out of and there is a larger hole in the bottom of the column under the base. Please note this hole is not perfectly round and appears to have been chipped out. It does not distract from the piece since it is on the bottom. I have up for auction this very pretty lady. She is so sweet looking with her little hands and feet. This item has original string to hang her with. Not sure what she would have hung from. Maybe hanging oil lamp. There are a few thread coming apart towards the top of the string. The string has a gold color thread wrapped around the first string. The lady is wearing a peachy color dress with lots of gold color dots sticking up from the dress. She is holding a large fan also while she is swing. I have never seen another one of these. Piece: Incense Burner Lamp(pocket on back side to place perfumed liquid) Maker: Irice(Is missing label. But is an Irice lamp-hard to find style) Condition: It has a surface chip by straight screw. But no other chips and no cracks. Lovely detailed hand painted piece. Has thumb screw on and off old cord. Works great! Paint is thin on ends of knitting needles, so took a good photo and looked through my loop to make sure they are not chipped or broken-they are not-excellent condition. From the book“ Costumes des Femmes Francaises du XII to XVIII siecle. you will find other D&K figures made from images in this book. The royal women of the court were the“fashionistas” of their time. Their clothing was elaborately made. Hand sewn and detailed with gold threads, gold and silver buttons, finest lace. This lamp was custom made to fit this figurine. As the base shows. She is beautiful, and even the vintage socket and turn knob is high quality. It works fine. The lady has lost two finger tips, thumb and forefinger as photos show. Her veil wraps around the lamp ... morestem, nice touch! It is approx. 19“ tall, 4“ wide at base. I did not undo lamp to find mark, as it is glued to the base.
