Military KPM W.F.KISTER German Porcelain Figurine DUMOURIEZ French General
Up for your consideration is this beautiful. Outstanding, antique German porcelain figurine of French, Napoleon's general. Charles du Perier, known as Dumouriez(1739- 1823) a French general. He won the battles of Valmy and Jemappes and conquered Belgium. The figurine is 10 1/4" or 26 cm tall and stands on a base that is 2 1/2" by 3" or 6.5 by 7.7 cm. The coloring is very vibrant and the detail is wonderful. There is a blue mark on the underside, an"S" dissected with crossed swords, denoting the AW Fr. and impressed 12753. For sale is a fun half doll(Teepuppe in German) made by Passau( Dressel& Kister) of Germany in the early 20th century. It is a lady that is holding a rose in her right hand. She is superbly modeled and painted and this maker makde some of the best half dolls around. The piece is 3.875 inches tall. 3.25 inches wide and 1.75 inches deep. The piece is marked underneath on the inside with the staff type mark as well as a letter B in blue. The halfdoll is in superb condition with just a tiny chip to a flower petal and a chip to a leaf. The lady is holding flowers in her hands with large puffy pink lace around her arm. Her dress is blue with pink lace down the front that goes around the back, the front is decorated with flowers& bows and the base has a gold gilt connecting circle around it. Antique Scheibe-Alsbach A. Kister Porcelain Cherub vases mark from late 1880s
These beautiful German statuettes were made in Scheibe-Alsbach in the A. Kister period. They are from the late 1800's. They are truly beautiful and you will not tire of looking at them. They are cherubs with vases on a pedestal. I do not know if they were originally meant to be vases or planters but either use would be a beautiful display. One of the figures is holding a bunch of grapes and the other a wine glass. This is Art Nouveau at it's best. The form of the plump cherubs and the grapes and leaves. And even the shape of the vases themselves are natural and from the Nouveau period. The bottoms are stamped KPM and feature the X beneath these letters. This mark was used for a short period beginning in 1887.There are the numbers 1301 and 9 indented on the bottom as well, perhaps where they were to inventory them at one point or to ... moreidentify them in some fashion at the point of manufacture. This set is 108 to 126 years old and in mint condition. The cherubs are 10 1/4" H. 6 3/4" W, and on a 4" base excluding legs. This set will be shipped FedEx insured at the purchase price or more. I'm hoping to find her a new home now! I do not collect half dolls. So I might be unaware of specific details a collector would look for. I try my best to describe the item in detail though. This item is in excellent shape except for the unfortunate shipping damage to the seat rail. I did not repair this so that the buyer could chose to epoxy the pieces themselves or have it professionally repaired. I was able to save the pieces to the rail except one. See all photos. It is 15" long by 13" high and almost 8" wide at the widest part. Marked with the Kister Scheibe Alsbach hallmark and numbered 9642 in the mold. Also marked Germany on the bottom.

Kister and Company in the beginning of 20 th century.She has a hole in each foot. Which fit over supporting rods in a(wooden) base/stand. The wooden stand she poses on is original. Excellent figure.Beautifully modeled from the tips of her fingers to the very tips of her slippers. Dressel often copied popular paintings and postcards of the day. Exelent overglaze decorations.The artist skillfully painted her costume to give the erotic illusion of diaphanous veils.For it appears that the rosy skin of her breasts and right thigh can be glimpsed through sheer material.No doubt this was considered a bit naughty for the era when she was created. Her gray hair(for some reason Dressel generally gave its youthful nubile models gray tresses) is striated with fine white lines.Giving the impression of individual hairs. Her elegant face is beautifully painted. With detailed eyebrows and eyelashes, painted brown eyes with black and red lid lines, and red coral lips(brown eyes are another characteristic of Dressel damsels) Measurements: she is is 31cm high/34.5 cm high when on stand. This beautiful KPM vase was made in the second part of the 19th Century by the Kister Porcelain Factory and carries their mark. KPM over crossed lines. The company later became Scheibe- Alsbach(VEB) in Dresden. It stands 10 inches tall by 8 inches wide by 8 inches deep. There are 2 hairline cracks one at the bend in her knee and the other near her foot going 3 inches toward the cherubs foot as can be seen in the pictures.

A rare antique piece by A.W.Fr. Kister in Germany. Man kissing womans hand as she pauses playing her cello. From my research this piece is from 1930-1945 excellent condition bottom has makers mark stamped in blue and the numbers 11548 and 19 are impressed in the piece. Colors are rich and intricate. Items are sold as is. I have tried to show any flaws I have found but I am human and can miss things. Look closely at the pictures. That is the item you will receive. This is a lovely lady dancer ballerina figurine by Ludwigsburg of Germany. She is wearing a beautiful floral print dress and her arms are raised and resting behind her head Approximately 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide at widest point. Marked on bottom with the blue Ludwigsurg stamp. And there are numbers incised in the porcelain, they are hard to read but I think it says 5599. She is in excellent condition with just a hairline crack to the bottom of the base and someone put glue across the crack for some reason. But the integrity of the piece is not affected by the crack. These are a charming pair of Kister antique bisque figurines of a boy and girl each with a dog next to them. The girl is dressed in a peach dress with a blue sash. This is a good size figurine from the Kister/Scheibe Alsbach Factory of Germany. The color of the figurine is off white. You can see the detail of her face almost looks real. Condition: No damage. Looks like slight discoloration below her eyes and the right side of bottom curl of her hair and looks like a few more discolor spots around figurine, sometimes bisque material discolors due to age. Antique 19th Century Dressel & Kister MUSES Gilt Porcelain German Figurines
For your consideration we offer this set of 4 antique Dressel& Kister porcelain figurines of the muses of Music. Poetry and the Arts. Each figurine is approximately 6 1/2" tall. Created in porcelain with a high-fire glaze, then low-fired a second time with gold gilding on their dresses, hair adornments and implements. The heavy gold gilt is worn in places as shown in the photos. The figurines are all highly detailed, each with a different style of flowing, draping dress and varying hairstyles. There are some condition issues as follows: Poetry- holding in one hand a writing tablet or book(part of which is broken. Missing) and a pen or quill(broken, missing) in the other hand. Painting- holds a palette in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. No damage noted. Music- holding a lyre or cithara(she is missing one toe) Sculpture- she ... moreholds a mallet and chisel in her hands but the sculpture. Probably a bust, is broken off and missing. Each one bears a blue underglaze Bishop's Staff mark in addition to hand-incised numbers"2627" the same on each piece. Dressel. Kister& Co. produced porcelain items from 1844-63 when Kister's son August W. took over and the"KPF" over crossed lines mark was used(this later became"KPM" In 1905, August Kister sold the factory to his son-in-law who introduced the crossed"S" mark.
