VERY RARE LARGE HUTSCHENREUTHER DECO LADY DANCER BY KARL TUTTER
I really don't want to sell this one but its tax time. I have shopped for Hutschenreuther figurines for 20 years and she is the only one I have seen like her. She measures 10-1/2 inches tall by 8 inches wide. She has no crazing. Chips, cracks or repairs. The detail is incredible with gold trimming, purple necklace, blue flower on waist, gold snakeband on arm, purple button on leg and gold trimmed slippers. The bottom stamp is the lion circle with the letters L.H.S, Hutschenreuther Selb-Bavaria and Abteilung for Kunst. The top of the base is impressed with K. Tutter for Karl Tutter. By her dress I would say it is around 1910 to 1915 a combination of the nouveau and deco period. I pack very well. Shipping, handling, insurance in the 48 states is $20. The original name is“Nach dem Bade” After The Bath” It depicts a young nude kneeling woman touching up her hair after a bath. The body is modelled with very detailed anatomy. Her face is quiet and dreamy. Cracks, repairs or discoloration. The nude figurine sits on the matching flower frog base, so it can be used with fresh cut flowers as a centerpiece. Both pieces are signed Hutschenreuther, Germany and with Karl Tutter incised into the porcelain. The original paper lables are still in place on both pieces! The base measures 7" at the widest point and 2" tall. The figurine is just over 8" from it's base to the finger tips. You will not find a better example of this Karl Tutter figurine. Large Hutschenreuther Porcelain Figurine Ram And Boy Karl Tutter 1950
This is a beautiful. Large, porcelain, delicately hand painted ram and boy figurine made by Hutschenreuther Selb Kunstabteilung, Germany, c. 1950. It is incised K. Tutter on top of base, who was the designer. Hutschenreuter's trademark green under glaze on bottom of base(see pictures) 11" 28cm) long. 7 3/8" 19cm) wide, 10 1/2" 27cm) high. Weighs 6 1/2 lbs(2.95kg) Excellent vintage condition. There is a hairline on one of the ram's horns(see picture) Item has been described to the best of our knowledge.
