I didn't want to take the pin cushion apart to look for markings. So I am selling her as an unknown. She may be German. I can find no chips or crazing. The pin cushion is filled with wood shavings and is a bit fragile, but still strong enough to hold up the doll. A perfect little decoration for your sewing room. This is one of those pincushions– the doll is a half doll with blonde hair worn in large curls. Nicely painted facial features. This is a pretty German half doll with short dark hair. One hand on her hat, one at her waist. She has a lively orange shawl and luminescent cream hat and shawl fringe. She has a bluish feather coming out from under her hat and a blue-green color at her waist. Between the front 2 holes at her waist is stamped: 74505. You can barely make out Germany on the back lower waist. She's in great condition, there is a faint ripple in the front edge of her hat but it doesn't look like a chip. See photos.

Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco 1920's Flapper Lady"half doll" figurine pin cushion from San Francisco Estate. Made in Germany. Circa 1920's. She is exquisite! This beautiful deco lady has red lips. Dark eyes with lavender eye shadow, and is wearing a green 1920's flapper hat with dark red dangle earrings. She is also wearing a green and lavender blouse with dark red ribbon. Her head is tilted to one side, she has one hand on her shoulder, and the other hand on the front of her blouse. She is attached to a pinkish lavender colored pin cushion with an olive green and white net overlay which is beaded with flowers and stick pins. She is made of porcelain, and the pin cushion is made of silk material over straw. The overall measurement is 6-1/2" wide and 5-1/2" tall. There are no signatures or manufacture ... moremarks that we could find, but we were told that she is from Germany, and is probably marked on the bottom which is covered by the pin cushion. The condition is amazingly very good- shows wear(especially the pin cushion under her skirt- see picture) There are no chips, breaks, or repairs. The estimated value was $125.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $49.00. This fabulous deco lady came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. For sale is a very early piece produced by Goebel in Germany between 1914-1920. It measures 10cm high and bears the early Goebel Wilhelmsfeld mark. Other impressed marks are 6 and I. For sale is a very fine modelled German Art Deco porcelain pin/ half doll produced by the famous maker Dressel& Kister in Passau/ Germany in 1930's. It measures 7cm high and bears the Dressel& Kister marks. This figurine is in lovely condition for its age- the only blemish is a hairline crack as can be seen in the pictures- this has not been restored.
