No repairs but the majority of glaze is gone. A little wear and a few blemishes consistent with any decorative item which was buried for over one thousand years. SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Height: 278 millimeters(11 1/8 inches) Length: 232 millimeters(9 1/3 inches) Breadth: 99 millimeters(4 inches) Base: 150 x 74 millimeters(6 inches x 3 inches) 12 millimeters(1/2 inch) in thickness. CONDITION: Very good. Minor porcelain chips. There are minor chips in the porcelain glaze at the rider’s right front shoulder; to the rider’s waist, behind, center; to the back side of the horse’s right leg; at the edge of the horse’s stomach, right side, center; and at the rider’s left elbow. There is as well a scattering of minute porcelain chips throughout, and the top of the horse’s right ear is also chipped. Other than cleaning, there has been no restoration work. The minor chips could be repaired, without additional cost, if you would like our conservator to repair the chips. There remains some mild soil adhesions, small areas where soil still adheres to the statuette, despite our best efforts to clean away all soil adhesions. Of course the paint has decomposed and is powdery in those areas where the statuette was merely painted(not glazed) the rider’s head, boot, and hands. Antique Porcelain Brown Glaze BULLDOG Figurine, Staffordshire or German, Heavy
Beautiful antique bulldog. Nice heavy piece. Weighs 2 1/2 lbs. I believe it is either Staffordshire(because I acquired it in a box with 8 other Staffordshire pieces) or German. It definitely has the look of Staffordshire. Very good quality and highly detailed. Measures 6 3/4" high and 9 1/2" wide. Brown glaze. There is a repair to the back left leg(as seen in the picture) The repair was matched up perfectly with only some glue residue showing.

IT IS IN REALLY GREAT CONDITION. NO VISIBLE CHIPS NOR CRACKS, JUST NEEDS SOME CLEANING. I am not an expert but I will try to answer any questions as best I can- please ask before bidding. Vintage Hand Painted Lefton Rooster Cockerel Statue Figurine Crackle Glaze
Fine and colorfully glazed large rooster figurine with tail feathers up and ruffled. Great detail throughout. This statue stands 8.5" tall. Almost 6" length, and about 3" wide. Regarding the repair, you can see a small chip in the tail feathers on the right side(best seen in picture 4) it looks like the whole tip was broken off and then repaired professionally, as it is difficult to detect except for that little chip. There is a repair on the tail feathers opposite, also difficult to see unless close up(you can see the small crack in the 1st picture- it is the 3rd feather from the top) As you can see from both pictures#4& 5 that these repairs are hard to find. Vintage Asian Woman Porcelain Figurine High Glaze 2 piece
This is a beautiful piece. The colors are so pretty. I do not know the age or the make of this piece. I do know Antique figurines are known to have larger holes in the bottom and they also have a gritty base. You can see this is the picture of the bottom. The Lady is playing a Tamborine and it appears she is sitting on a drum. The other piece is a bench with what appears to be a thin drum. The figurine is 6 1/2" tall.
