Offered for sale is this Bali Indonesian wood carving. A Native Feeding Chicken. It is a very interesting piece. The carving was carved out from a piece of wood. A native who's right hand is feeding a chicken in the cage and the left hand is holding a chicken on top of the cage. The cage looks like bamboo but it is wood carving. It took a lot time to carve a bamboo-like cage from wood. The piece has a small damage to the cage. Otherwise, is in excellent condition. What a little cutie pie! This is a fairly rare Josef Original complete with stickers presenting a darling little blond girl holding a basket of eggs and her apron out and a little hen at her feet. She has gold accents on her pony tail. The neck of her dress and the hem of her dress where there is a rose and some bluebells.
