Lovely Vintage Fasold & Stauch Germany Porcelain Ballerina Dancer Figurine
Direct from a local estate is this lovely vintage porcelain ballerina figurine. She's positioned in a graceful pose with her arms in the air while on her toes. Her tutu is lilac color with gold accents on the bust and edge of the tut u and she's wearing gold slippers. She has blond hair and blue eyes. The base is marked in red(pictured) Fasold& Stauch. Co. of Bock Wallendorf, Germany. Based on the style of the ballerina I estimate the age to be from the 1930's. Measures: 9” tall– tutu has 3 1/2” circumference Condition: Excellent vintage condition– she has no cracks. Chips or breaks. Fingers are perfect. This lovely figurine has been bought decades ago from an antique dealer in Berlin/Germany. According to the porcelain mark it must have been made after 1903. From design I would place it in the 1950s. Underneath next to the mark of Fasold& Stauch is printed what seems to be the number 4. This item is about 23cm high and 16cm x 13cm on the bottom.
