Up for your consideration are two beautiful antique Kingfisher birds. They are extremely similar to Karl Ens figures. They are in wonderful shape and the colors are vibrant. There is wear that is showing on each of the beaks so please review the photos. Measures 4" high. Marked on the base are the original'Made in East Germany' stickers and some other makers marks. Up for Auction. Antique Vintage Dresden Porcelain stage coach. This item has been in my family for sure since WWII. The story goes as my Great Great Grandfather moved the family from East to West Germany in the late 40's this item was very carefully hand carried. With that in mind I believe it to have been made prior to 1940. Also because of the colors used, and was made in East Germany as that was where the family lived prior to West Germany. Item measures approximately 8.5 inches across 6 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep. It is in very good condion, I could find no flaws or chips or cracks. It is marked on the back side of the base with what looks like a name possible Gorman and the number 21843. It is marked on the bottom in red ink with a Crown and a G with two lines or possible swords through it. Under than is the numbers 1859 the ... more5 is a little unclear. Up for Bid is a Rare and Cute Porcelain Mamma Horse and Baby Horse Figurine made in the German Democratic Republic(GDR) otherwise known as East Germany. This is a rare piece and it is the first item I have ever seen from East Germany. The bottom Painted(Stamped) label and inscribed label on the other side of the bottom read. Made in GDR" and"10532 Foreign" and also has a Crown Symbol and an"S" under the crown. The"10532 Foreign" was for export and there was little exporting from East Germany during the years when it was ruled by the Communist Government making it a more rare item. VINTAGE UNTERWEISSBACH SITTING DANCER PORCELAIN FIGURINE - EAST GERMANY
This auction is for a lovely collectible porcelain sculpture from Unterweissbach. It features a beautiful dancer in multi-tiered flowing dress with blue bow on the low cut bodice sitting down as she adjusts her ankle laces. She wears a matching bow in her hair and gold ballet slippers. She is quite lovely and my pictures don't do her justice. The bottom of the figurine features the 1960's VEB Unterweissbach East Germany blue mark and the impressed number that I can't quite make out. There is also an impressed border around the blue mark. The figurine is about 8" tall by 7" long and she is in excellent condition I can find no cracks. Chips, or paint problems. Please see all pictures. Sorry. No original box or documentation. Crown, and 1764 with sticker that states Made in Germany(East) and the number 72. Gold shoes and off white or pale blue outfit. Nice detail and life like! Looks like her face is handpainted! Measures 6" 16 cm) high and 2 1/4" wide approximately. Condition as stated- no chips. Cracks or repairs. All fingers intact, but there are some black marks on legs and arms.
