Art Deco Hutschenreuther NUDE LADY RIDING HORSE Lipizzaner FIGURINE Porcelain Offered for sale is this beautiful Hutschenreuther porcelain figurine of a nude riding a Lipizzaner horse. The modeler was K. Tutter. I have never seen this figurine painted before. The painted version must be very rare. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. SIZE: The figurine is approximately 12.5 inches tall. And is approximately 10 inches wide. CONDITION: There is a hairline on the rider's left thigh. The tip of the horse's right ear is missing, and there is a crack around the top of the horse's tail- the pen is pointing to these in the close up pictures. The tail has not broken off, it is attached to the base and both of the horse's back legs, the line at the top of the tail is a stress line. There is some material behind the the right ... morerear hoof that I think is intended to take some pressure off of the tail. Please see the close up pictures. She is riding bareback and holding onto his mane. The horse is white with grey spotted areas. If you lift it up you see the horse is vividly anatomically correct. This is really a stunning piece. Even with the horse's right front leg glued back on below the knee(please see photos) It is heavy and measures an impressive 12.25" high and 10" wide.
