This is a gorgeous porcelain or ceramic art deco hand painted spanish flamenco dancer figurine by GoldCrest Fine China. The colors on this figure and very vibrant. Her top and scarf is a purple color and her skirt is black with hand painted red flowers. Her underskirt is painted red. She is holding a yellow and gold fan and her skirt seems to be flowing as if she has just finished a twirl. She is in excellent condition. Vintage Art Deco Royal Dux Figurine Nude Dancer Flapper Girl Fine Porcelain Lady
Vintage Antique 30s 1930s Art Deco Royal Dux Figurine Nude Dancer Flapper Girl Fine Porcelain Lady Woman Figure Topless* This high quality 11 1/4-inch Art Deco porcelain figure was made by in Czechoslovakia by Royal Dux. Most likely in the 1930s. It depicts a lovely dancing lady who is wearing a long, swirling sky-blue skirt, a smile, and not much else. This topless flapper goddess has wavy light red hair. Her graceful ballet-style pose would be hard for most of us to pull off- look at that arched back! but she manages it with a serene smile. The facial features and the little flowers on the skirt and base are painted by hand with delicate skill. The underside of the figurine's base has Royal Dux's green factory stamp. It also has an impressed number 216(probably the mold number of the statuette) A hand-inscribed Roman numeral II, ... moreand what looks like a capital letter P with squared-off edges. I've provided a photo so you can see these marks for yourself. The piece does not seem to have the applied pink triangle mark, which could mean one of two things: 1) it might have once had a pink triangle and lost it; OR 2) it might have been made before the year 1900, which was the year Royal Dux started using the triangles. This piece is a wonderful early example of Royal Dux's celebrated Art Deco/ Art Nouveau works. The figurine is a beautiful study in line and movement. And a landmark in the storied history of Topless Lady Enjoyment. This piece is somewhat rare and hard to find. An identical one(but with a different skirt color) sold on Etsy for around $400 last summer; I don't think anyone has offered it for sale since then. For details on size. Antique Scheirholz Porcelain Art Deco Dancer Half Doll Dresden German Figurine
This is a stunning large hand painted porcelain figure of a beautiful sexy harem dancer created in the 1920s by the Scheirholz factory. She stands at 14 inches tall by 8 inches wide and displays beautifully. Overall in very good condition with the exception to having two broken fingers and half of her bangle bracelet broken. Some tiny nicks to the leaves in the rose in her hair and some wear to the gold gilt on her costume. She is signed on the back by the artist which is impressed into the back of the base. It is hard for me to make out but starts with a G. then I think Goss and the rest I cannot read. She is a truly rare find. This is a Vintage Royal Dux Figurine of a Lady Tango Dancer. She stands about 15” Tall and her round base is about 4 ¾” wide. She is wearing a soft pink dress with fringe and accessorized with matching hat. Bracelets, earrings and shoes in a deeper pink/rose/maroon color. Her face is beautifully painted as are the flowers in her hair. Her hair is jet black and cut in a bob. The marking on the bottom of the base are as follow: Blue Ink Stamp is comprised of a“Circle with an Acorn inside of a Diamond inside of a Circle all surrounded by Made In Czechoslovakia” Also impressed into the base are the numbers“14240” and the word Czechoslovakia. Figure is approximately 9.25 inches tall and dates from that curious transitional design period between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. When excavations in Egypt led to a brief European romance with Egyptian-inspired design. While the figure appears nominally Egyptian, she still has flowing drapery more suggestive of the Jugenstil, while her sensual pose arguably foreshadows the more playful decadence of 1920s Deco.
