Beautiful antique bulldog. Nice heavy piece. Weighs 2 1/2 lbs. I believe it is either Staffordshire(because I acquired it in a box with 8 other Staffordshire pieces) or German. It definitely has the look of Staffordshire. Very good quality and highly detailed. Measures 6 3/4" high and 9 1/2" wide. Brown glaze. There is a repair to the back left leg(as seen in the picture) The repair was matched up perfectly with only some glue residue showing.

Miniature Tiny Antique Staffordshire Dogs Poodles Porcelain Figure Figurine
This is a veryy sweet old Staffordshire miniautre porcelain figurine. Dogs(poodles) on a blue pillow. They have darling little faces. It is tiny, pillow measures 2-1/2" X 1-3/4" Height is 2-1/4" tall. Condition: There are three flaws. A tiny chip on front corner of pillow(lower left) and a chip on the back of the blue pillow(Measures 1/4" There looks like another one on the dogs hip that is laying down-could be a factory flaw but I am not sure-never noiticed till now(see last three pictures) It is still a wonderful piece! 19th Century Antique Matching Numbered Pair Staffordshire Porcelain Spaniel Dogs
Here is a perfectly wonderful old numbered and trade marked matching pair of Staffordshire Spaniels that date back to the late 1800's. The British royalty loved their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and they became a revered subject for the porcelain pottery makers of 19th Century England. The pair came down with my Great-Grandparents to Bartow. Florida in 1910 and have been in the family since. I only say this because it probably makes them a"one owner" provenance. The mark on the base is that of"Old Staffordshire Ware England" And both pieces are numbered but only one still legibly. They appear to be numbered 43 and 17 and of course, the numbers are under the original glaze. In 1892 Parliament decreed that English pottery must say"England" on the bottom. Twenty years later the mark had to read"Made ... morein England" The Spaniels stand 5 1/2" high and the base is four inches long by 2 3/4" at the widest part. The pair is in absolutely perfect condition. With no cracking, chipping or crazing whatsoever. I photographed them in sunlight and with flash to try and bring out the lovely rose gold paint under the glaze. The locket and collar are probably 24 carat solid gold paint. I will want to send these insured for at least the value of the winning bid. If you would like. I can insure them for the appraised value of five hundred U.S.D. I will not take the chance of sending them overseas.

The angel is unpainted but it looks like there was once gilt on the wings; a trace amount of gilt can be seen on the wings. There are some chips on the bottom of the base that appear to be production related. But the angel is in fine condition. This figurine measures 4 1/4” tall.

Staffordshire seated poodle dog Description: An early Victorian Staffordshire poodle dog from circa 1845. Seated on a raised base with a gilt line half way around. It has thick'fur' and grey painted paws. Size: Height: 9 1/2 cm(3.74 inch) Condition: In excellent condition for its age with no hairlines. Breaks or repairs, but with some paint loss to his nose. Antique Vintage Staffordshire Pottery Porcelain Little Girl With Doll Figurine
Up for auction is an adorable little antique Staffordshire figurine. It's a figure of a little girl holding her doll. It measures 2 3/4" tall. No chips found; however. The bottom edge is rough all around like it was cut off during production leaving a raw edge feel. The tip of one shoe is rough as well.the finish goes down the tip so I believe it's as produced. There is no reserve on this small Staffordshire figurine. Here we have a sweet little antique figurine from the Staffordshire region of England. It is 19 th c. and depicts a young girl holding a very large flower. We wonder if the flower wasn’t meant to hold a small candle. There is no mark. But It is highly detailed and is quite a lovely little piece. It has a little lean to the left when viewed from the front. Please examine the photos for the best description.
