It depicts a little boy with a bowl in his lap. Spoon in his right hand, and a bib. This was hand painted on the front. The back was not painted as was the custom at the time. This comes from a Pennsylvania estate that we purchased and have more going up for auction shortly. Very nice condition. All original. It is numbered 2734 on the back. This is Kentucky Estate#2.This is a fine 19th C. German Porcelain Lady statue from this fine old Kentucky Farm Estate Sale. This antique figurine is quite a beauty. Fully marked with a blue Under-Glaze letter"T" over crossed lines on the base as pictured, I will attribute this piece to the Carl Thieme Porcelain Factory of Germany. Also, in my opinion, I will date this statue from the mid to the late 19th C. 1860's-1880's) Measures approximately 7.5' in height, about 3.5' in width. Impressed Numbers 004 on base as well. The condition is not perfect. The back tip edge of her orange bonnet has a small flake, her right arm has been reattached, and her right ... moreindex finger is missing a tiny piece as pictured. Not perfect, but still quite a find. The facial expression is quite nice, her delicate floral bouquet in her left hand is fine. The sweet little sheep at her feet is just adorable. No hairlines, cracks, and selling as described with flaws that do not detract from this fine 19th C. quality piece. A professional restoration is certainly worthy. Each figure measures about 8 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" at their widest. The male figure holds his lute instrument and sits on a bench with books atop of it. The female figure holds a song book and is singing to the tune of the lute. The male figure was professionally repaired many years ago and broke off around his knee region. His lute and hands have also been repaired. The female figure on the other hand is in excellent. Original condition with some minor ruff spots along the bottom edge of the base. This is a very fine Samson bowl that is about 10 inches long and about 4 inches tall very fine details and a very fine French copy of a German Meissen item. Very fine details with the mold work and grapes and the gold gilt and the hand painted areas. Well marked on the bottom with the Samson mark crossed cuffed swords. Entirely intact. A little wear consistent with any household item which is over one(perhaps two) centuries in age. Not flawless, but certainly in an excellent state of preservation. DETAIL: A nicely preserved medium sized olive green vase ... morewith a raised. Sculpted design so wonderfully characteristic of late Ming/early Qing Dynasty artwork. As you can see the handles are little salamanders with very fanciful expressions, and decorating the shoulder of the jar(on the other two sides) are what appear to be bats. The glaze is entirely intact, a speckled olive green, and the condition of the pot is exceptionally good. There are of course a few minor scuffs, marks, dings, etc. All of the preceding almost unnoticeable and very minor– we’re just playing critic here in the interest of full disclosure. This is as close to as good as one can reasonably expect of a pot this old. It’s not perfect, but it is about as close to it as you will ordinarily find of a ceramic pot of its age, and there are no repairs. Of course realistically one would expect some blemishes of a pot this old. So there are no surprises here except that there are so few blemishes. The glazing is entirely intact, the color quite rich and unfaded. There are a few production blemishes, some dimples and pimples- again really not noticeable(except for the one relatively larger pimple you can see on one side of the jar) and quite typical

Very RARE 19thc Antique German Porcelain Fairing Figurine Figure Continental
For auction I believe this to be a very rare 19thc German porcelain fairing. In all my years of antiquing I have never seen this particular model. I looked in my books. Including Victorian China Fairings, The Collectors Guide, by Derek H. Jordan and I do not see it listed anywhere. It is a very finely painted fairing. Better in quality than the majority you see besides the Vienna series. It has tiny fine painted detailing and there is gold gilt thoughout. The caption on the bottom is written in German and says something about the boys keeping their hats on. Amazing that it is also in excellent condition. I looked it over several times. Very little wear to any painting and the only chip I might feel is a teeny nick on the top of the man's walking stick. I looked it over several times before seeing that. The back is marked on the back with Heubach GH in oval mark. The bust is made of bisque porcelain and has been finely hand painted. The fair haired woman with blue eyes and red lips has a a creamy white colored shawl draped over her head and around her shoulders. Her light blode hair is peaking out from under the shawl and there is a pine cone shaped brooch in sage green and light brown on the front of her shawl. The base is a pale yellow and brown shaped tree branches. The bust stands 13" in height. 6 3/4" in width, and is 5" in depth. Colorful, antique Continental porcelain figure of a man dressed in 18th century clothing that I believe was made by Meissen or perhaps one of the Dresden Thuringia region porcelain factories. It has part of a blue under glaze mark on the edge of the base in the back that looks like the top of the Meissen crossed swords mark(see 2nd image) Meissen is known to have marked of their figures in this area. If not Meissen my next guess would be one of the other Dresden area factories, however, the weight and"feel" of the piece lends me to believe it is Meissen. If someone who recognizes this particular model would care to share what you know I would enjoy hearing from you. It measures roughly 9 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" in diameter across the base and weighs close to 1 1/2 pounds. The condition is good. He is missing the tips of his pointer and baby fingers on his right hand and there is also a shallow vertical surface chip on the side edge of the base which you can see in the 3rd image. Antique porcelain KPM Berlin Germany figurine 19thC Peasant Girl Lady basket VTG
This is a very beautiful antique porcelain figurine of a peasant girl made by KPM Berlin and dating to the 19th century or earlier. The pretty lady/ girl is gathering fruit in a basket and in one hand she is holding a pear. She has her skirt tied up with a ribbon showing her bare feet. She is wearing a light green skirt with striped petticoat showing at the bottom and a pink floral vest with white peasant blouse. The ribbons on her blouse sleeves and in her hair are very delicate and in perfect condition. This figurine is exquisitely embellished with gilt accents. It is truly beautiful and a really fine quality piece of art. She stands about 8 3/4" high. It has the blue scepter mark under glaze and the red global crucigar mark. 1763 to 1837— Berlin porcelain was marked with the sceptre mark in blue under glaze.
